About the role:
We are looking for a media manager to work as a job share partner in our small, start-up style team on our public campaigning initiative. This role provides an exciting opportunity to jointly lead on our earned media approach, working to secure high-quality coverage of our campaigns and the Health Equals coalition across print, online and broadcast media to influence public opinion and political change.
In this role, you’ll use your skills to deliver our PR strategy for our upcoming public-facing campaigns, working alongside your job share partner to manage our PR agency partner, leading our press office function, building trusted relationships with journalists and influencers, and coordinating Health Equals member spokespeople and lived experience storytellers. You will work proactively with data analysts and policy experts to spot and develop media opportunities based on new and available data relating to health inequalities. Your work day-to-day will vary from strategic to delivery focused, such as writing press releases and pitching to national and regional media, fielding enquiries and responding proactively to developments in the external environment. About The Role
We are currently recruiting for two Practice Lead positions. One role will support Local House Projects (LHPs) in the North, while the location and focus of the second role is still to be confirmed.

The charity was established in August 2018 as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), they support local authorities in setting up Local House Projects for young people leaving care. Believing every care leaver should have this option, the charity empowers them to create and sustain homes.
The initiative, co-designed with young people, began by asking, "What makes a house a home?” Local House Projects in England and Scotland help care leavers transition into permanent tenancies, fostering a supportive community. The charity has helped over 780 young people successfully move into their own homes, with no evictions or tenancy breakdowns, ensuring a secure start for their futures.
This role has become available due to growth of the charity.

Wintercomfort works with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or with a history of homelessness. We provide services to aid every stage of recovery - from immediate basic welfare needs to long term help in identifying and dealing with the problems which are undermining their stability, and enabling them to engage with education, employment and specialist health services. National statistics rank the numbers of rough sleepers in Cambridge within the highest 20 UK local authorities.
Wintercomfort is the only day-time service in the city, providing year-round advice and support for homeless or vulnerably housed people. Over the past three decades Wintercomfort has continued to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the homeless community.
Our specialist Housing Team provides expert advice and support to help people successfully navigate the search for housing and crucially, support them to sustain life away from the street.
About you and the Role
This is a full-time community outreach and homelessness prevention role, working as part of the Wintercomfort tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention project worker team. The Wintercomfort Housing Project Worker will provide practical, person-centred, housing-related support for people identified through community outreach and within Overstream House who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The postholder will deliver frontline casework, advocacy and practical support to help vulnerable individuals secure, maintain and transition into safe, independent living. This will include supporting people to understand the options available to them, complete practical tasks, access appropriate services, strengthen housing stability and work with local partners to prevent housing crises from escalating.

Role Overview:
To support the delivery of a popular, enjoyable programme of training, networking and events designed with and for city farms and community gardens. The London Development Officer is part of a London team of two, working closely with the London Development Manager, and staff of city farms and community gardens, including the trustees of the London Association of City Farms and Community Gardens. The London team works with the wider team of Social Farms & Gardens based in the UKs countries and regions.
The London programme is well-established and well-regarded.
Annual outputs include:

The MyTime to Thrive service supports children and young people across Lancashire & South Cumbria aged 5 – 18 years to grow up with healthy minds, feel confident and resilient and fulfil their potential. As part of the THRIVE ‘Getting Help' model Barnardo's provides therapeutic one to one, group work and counselling support in the community.

North Lancashire Mental Health Practitioner:

Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence has been supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse since 1994, and today provides a range of services to anyone in Derbyshire or Derby City who has experienced sexual abuse, assault or violence, including friends and family members. We support people irrespective of age, gender or when the abuse occurred.
We're looking for A highly motivated Ch-ISVA to work across Derbyshire. The role will support people aged 13+ and over including adults who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. The successful candidate with join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person.
You might be the right person for the role if you have:
• At least one year’s experience in managing complex client cases
• Experience of building relationships with partner services and other professionals
• Knowledge of issues affecting victims of sexual violence and abuse
• Experience in delivering services in a confidential environment
• Knowledge and experience in relation to the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Children
