Job Description
Lead research and policy projects
You will lead our Research and Policy team and manage our research experts. This will include leading on existing and new projects from concept design to funder reporting, as well as conducting research in different areas of economic and social policy like social security, pensions, VAWG, labour market, social care, etc.
Maintain and forge external partnerships
You will maintain, identify and forge new collaborations with academics, feminist organisations and economics think tanks.
Represent WBG at external events and to the media
You will represent WBG in meetings with key stakeholders and speak at external events. You will also be a spokesperson for the press, radio and broadcast TV to promote WBG’s research and analysis.
Contribute to our advocacy strategy
You will work closely with our Communications and Public Affairs team to ensure our research outputs are relevant to our advocacy goals and that they are accessible to a wide range of audiences, including policymakers, politicians, journalists, and feminist campaigning organisations.
Supervise our research and policy support programme
In collaboration with our Head of Training and Capacity Building you will expand our programme of research and policy support for grassroots organisations in the UK and internationally.
Manage a team and support its members
You will be leading not only projects but also people. You will have experience of supporting, motivating and leading a team of people and supporting them to develop new skills and grow in their careers. This includes staff members and paid interns.
Hours: 30 hours per week. We operate a shorter working week with 30 hours the equivalent of full time. We are happy to consider a secondment role and/or flexible working arrangements. Some out of hours working will be required for which TOIL will be given.
Location: Must be resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK. Post is hybrid with requirement to be in the office at least once a week. Office is in Vauxhall, London.

About the Role
The Speech and Language Therapist at the Education Hub will provide specialist assessment, intervention and support for children and young people affected by the Grenfell Tragedy. The therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments using evidence-based tools, including formal standardised assessments, observational analysis and dynamic assessment approaches to evaluate speech, language and communication needs.
You will:
- Work on a 1:1 and group basis with children and young people and provide a high level of expertise to develop students’ speech, language and communication skills.
- Give advice, information and support to enable parents/carers and schools to promote the development of speech, language and communication skills.
- Work with families to equip them with the knowledge and skills to create supportive home environments that meet their child’s specific needs.
- Work in close liaison with the Occupational Therapist and the rest of the team to ensure efficient and effective management of children identified with speech, language and communication needs.
- Comprehensively assess children and young people to help identify difficulties in expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, and speech sound development, ensuring targeted and effective intervention.
- Produce detailed reports with clear actionable recommendations to inform support plans and guide effective therapeutic and educational strategies, ensuring interventions are tailored to each child’s specific speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop Speech & Language Therapy training packages, policies, and programmes to parents, carers and professionals.
About You
You will have:
- UK qualified status and registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) with a license to practice.
- Registered member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
- Trained in Hanen, Elklan, Let’s Talk or VERVE Child Interaction (or a willingness to attend training)
- Extensive knowledge of principles in effective working with families and schools and application to practice.
- Experience of operational caseload management for children with a speech and language need.
- Extensive knowledge of appropriate assessment and therapeutic interventions relevant to the client group.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Culturally competent, with an understanding of diverse family contexts and the ability to tailor interventions accordingly.
- Skilled in trauma-informed practices with a focus on supporting children and families affected by adverse experiences.

About the Organisation
The Grenfell 'Education Hub' opened last year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub provides a safe, restorative and relational education support to children and young people, their families and local schools.
A consultation process in 2023 and 2024 about the needs of the community and the bereaved and survivors led to proposals for an educational ‘hub’. This comprises a wide range of professionals including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Specialist, and a Family Support Practitioner. Their time will be divided between direct work with children and families in the ‘Hub’, and support for local schools.
The activity of the hub aims to;
- Provide good quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible
- Build the skills and confidence of children and young people, their families, and education staff in local schools
- Develop strong relationships with those most affected by the Grenfell Tower fire

About the Role
The Sexual Violence Navigator provides a first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and abuse, offering compassionate, trauma-informed information and support to help survivors understand their options and access appropriate specialist services:
Survivor Support
- Act as a first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and professionals supporting them, providing trauma-informed, non-judgemental information, signposting, advice and emotional support.
- Respond to enquiries and referrals within agreed timescales.
- Carry out initial risk and needs assessments and respond to crisis situations, working alongside statutory services where required.
- Support survivors to understand their rights, explore options and make informed choices about onward support.
- Manage a caseload from first contact through to referral, including associated administrative tasks.
- Provide general advocacy, including liaison with housing, health, police and other relevant agencies.
- Work in line with RCSL safeguarding policies and procedures, and relevant Alliance safeguarding arrangements.
- Work some evenings on a rota basis to meet service need.

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Thames Valley Care Team.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Thames Valley Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

About You & The Role
You are a natural builder who enjoys closing deals, developing relationships and creating meaningful social impact. You will shape and lead PBC’s first dedicated fundraising function, building a portfolio from the ground up with limited existing donor relationships.
The role focuses on securing six-figure corporate partnerships and cultivating high-net-worth individual donors, alongside a smaller trusts and foundations portfolio. You thrive in a strategic, relationship-led role and are comfortable using a broad range of fundraising approaches.
Working closely with the leadership team, you will secure funding to support long-term sustainability and expand PBC’s impact across London and beyond. Initially the sole fundraiser, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a team as the function grows.
Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy Delivery: Take ownership of multi-year fundraising strategy working closely with the CEO and Board to diversify and increase revenue streams that support PBC’s service expansion and reach

Relationship Management: Research, identify and cultivate funding opportunities from companies and high-net-worth individuals, alongside trusts and foundations

Trusts & Foundations: Oversee the grant pipeline, with external support for high-value applications and build relationships with decision-makers

Develop Compelling Fundraising Material: Collaborate with CEO and wider team to evidence, quantify and articulate PBC’s social value using data and storytelling to position PBC as a high-impact partner for donors and partners

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and evaluate fundraising performance against financial and operational targets. Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, sector and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practices

FWS is a Scottish charity working to create a Scotland where trees and native woodlands are thriving for our wildlife, communities and climate. Our mission is to protect, create and restore these vital habitats through knowledge, partnership and practical action.
Founded in 2012 to support innovative thinking for trees and native woodlands, we have grown into an organisation delivering practical action at scale. Today, our work stretches from city spaces to wild places — supporting farmers and landowners to create or restore native woodlands, strengthening local nurseries, building sector skills, and bringing trees into everyday landscapes across Scotland.
The organisation has grown rapidly over the past three years, and now operates as a team of seven delivering national programmes across Scotland.
About the role
This is a rare opportunity to shape a small, ambitious and high‑performing charity at a time of growth and increasing national influence.
As Chief Executive, you will report to and work closely with our Board of Trustees, providing strategic leadership and acting as the organisation’s senior representative. You will:
- Lead the delivery of our strategic plan and future direction
- Strengthen partnerships across the woodland, environmental, community and land‑use sectors
- Oversee programme delivery and organisational performance
- Support, motivate and develop our small and committed team of seven, working across programmes, fundraising and communications
- Represent Future Woodlands Scotland at senior levels across Scotland
You will bring strategic clarity, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across sectors and with funders.
Location
This role is Scotland-based, working from home with travel across Scotland to meetings. Our current team is spread across Dumfries & Galloway, Lothian, Central Scotland and Aberdeenshire.
Contract and salary
- 8% employer pension contribution
- Permanent, part‑time (3 days per week)
- £65,000–£75,000 FTE, depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave + 10 public holidays (pro rata)
- Additional annual leave increasing with length of service, up to a maximum of 10 additional days.

The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site/hybrid role based at Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield. The role will lead robust financial governance, reporting and risk management frameworks that ensure probity, transparency and compliance, while enabling confident, informed decision-making. The Head of Finance will work collaboratively across the organisation to develop and monitor business planning, financial strategy and resource allocation; supporting artistic ambition, operational delivery and long-term financial sustainability, and ensuring the highest standards of delivery against agreed targets.
Personal Attributes
• At least 2 years’ experience in a senior finance or financial management role.
• Experience of managing budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Experience of preparing or overseeing statutory accounts and working with auditors.
• Understanding of financial governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and experience using financial systems.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. No overtime is payable but time off in lieu may be taken with agreement of line manager.
Holidays: Annual holiday entitlement is 20 days per year plus bank holiday entitlement. This increases to 25 days per year after the first year’s service.

For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by this lifelong condition. We continue to provide practical, emotional, and financial support for individuals and their families, while also working with healthcare professionals to improve care services and campaign for change.

Our ‘Priced Out of Existence’ campaign was shown on the BBC 6 o’clock and 10 o’clock News and referenced by media across the UK. Our #BloodyAmazingKidneys campaign has reached more than 6 million people and 294,000 of those have taken our digital kidney health checker.
We’re building partnerships with leading companies across the UK, raising the profile of kidney disease and working with them to make sure that their customer service teams understand the needs of kidney patients throughout the country, working with them to make sure that kidney patients are top priority for their vulnerable customer teams. We’re working with global pharmaceutical companies developing world class patient information and advice. And we want to identify more companies in different sectors who are passionate about supporting people with kidney disease, which is why we are expanding our Corporate Partnerships team.
The charity is set to build on this success and aims to continue this growth, so that we can reach more kidney patients and their families, providing critical support at a time when it is needed now more than ever.
About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a key role in this growth, managing and securing new corporate partnerships with support from the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Our corporate partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.
Primarily, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of corporate partnerships, growing strong relationships, delivering partnership activities, and proactively securing new corporate partnerships, including charity of the year relationships. You'll further support the Corporate Partnership Manager and Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications as needed with key activities within larger partnerships, developing a well rounded understanding of how Kidney Care UK works in partnership.
You will also work closely with the Events, Marketing & Communications teams to promote and support all opportunities to drive corporate income growth ensuring strong collaboration.
Key duties will include;
- Managing relationships with key contacts,
- Delivering partnership activities such as renal unit visits or training presentations to key staff,
- Delivering informative annual reports,
- Proactively secure and onboard new partnerships within your target area.
You will do this by stewarding the significant number of existing relationships and partnerships we already hold and maximising any opportunities that exist. Alongside this, you'll be working with the Corporate Partnership Manager to manage a personal goal of generating new partnerships through proactive engagement to and through our supporters, beneficiaries, networks, and contacts.
The right candidate will have a proven record of building strong and rewarding relationships, and confidence in managing and building these relationships autonomously. You will be a driven and enthusiastic fundraiser with experience of cultivating new relationships across a range of businesses and sectors and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.

The role
We are looking for a Weekend Assistant to join our Hornsey shop team. You will help the shop run smoothly, provide an excellent experience for customers and donors, and support our fundraising targets.
