The Membership Engagement Manager will ensure TCC effectively supports its membership to become more than the sum of its parts, playing a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding our coalition by building and facilitating meaningful relationships with member organisations, both new and existing. This position is responsible for enhancing member engagement, ensuring the delivery of value to our members, and supporting the organisation's strategic objectives through effective membership management and communications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Member Engagement & Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for member organisations, addressing inquiries and providing support to enhance member satisfaction.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase member engagement, including organising events, webinars, and networking opportunities, including regular All Coalition Meetings and Annual Movement Gatherings.

• Facilitate onboarding processes for new members, ensuring a smooth integration into the coalition.

• Ongoing relationship management of members, including effective outreach and communications

• Invoicing membership fees and ensuring payment is made

• Lead on communications to members through a regular newsletter and ad-hoc communications around campaigns

• Supporting members to engage with TCC activity

• Work with colleagues to co-create campaigns and activities that meet member needs and ambitions

Membership Growth & Retention

• Design and execute membership recruitment campaigns to attract new member organisations.

• Monitor membership trends and feedback to develop retention strategies and reduce member attrition.

• Collaborate with the Digital Campaigns Manager to promote membership benefits and success stories.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records using the organisation's CRM system.

• Generate regular reports on membership statistics, engagement levels, and feedback to inform strategic decisions.

• Analyse data to identify opportunities for enhancing member value and engagement.

Infrastructure to support Collective Impact

• Responsible for the maintenance and development of the central Member Resource Hub

• Responsibility for managing the day to day delivery of the Local Intelligence Hub project (online data hub providing climate-relevant data at a constituency level), including being the key contact with our external partner organisation who maintain and develop the hub, and keeping TCC members and staff involved and informed about the project as needed.

• Contribute to the development of programs and services that meet the evolving needs of members.

• Represent the organisation at external events and forums to promote membership and build partnerships.

PERSON SPECIFICATION 

Essential

• Proven experience in membership management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, using facilitation skills to bring people together in a meaningful way

• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Some experience of line management of volunteers or paid staff

• Proven ability to support the work of committees and take minutes.

• Demonstrable experience of organising meetings and conferences.

• Proven ability to maintain simple accounts and oversee budgets. 

• Able to handle administrative tasks in a quick and efficient manner, including organising meetings and responding to enquiries quickly

The Role

The Partnerships Fundraiser will support on the securing of new partnerships and take the lead on stewarding our corporate partner portfolio. This role will be based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, or at our Aberdeen base, at Aberdeen Airport. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours of work will be Monday—Friday, 9am—5pm but it should be noted that this role will require the successful candidate to occasionally work at weekends and during the evenings. This role will also require the successful candidate to travel regularly to partner locations within Scotland.

• Experience working in a similar role managing partnerships between businesses and/or charities either within the commercial or charity sector.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon. The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support
• Provide clinical supervision to the team
• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for our residents with mental health and complex needs
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for residents psychological care as a care coordinator within a multidisciplinary team

About You

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to proactively encourage, take leadership and ownership for creating a psychologically informed environment. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively within the organisation and with external partners, collaborating with external stakeholders regularly in a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to utilise your own expertise and support in empowering the wider team to enhance their skills to deliver a service which is supportive, safe, and in line with best practice for the organisation and external regulatory bodies. 

• HCPC Registration is essential
• Post-graduate doctoral level training as a Registered Practitioner Psychologist including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology
• Previous experience working as a qualified clinical and/or forensic psychologist, including working with people with complex backgrounds/needs and a good understanding of the sector we run our services in

About the Role

We’re looking for a Night Engagement Worker to join the team in Catford. You will support within the Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation to support in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our residents and participants back into the community. The service delivers support for people in the criminal justice system who are deemed high risk, and likely to meet criteria for personality disorder. Penrose OPD HASS service offers specialist accommodation to people with high risk/high needs and require intensive support to overcome barriers to resettlement and progress towards independent living in the community.

You will assist with those who have recently been released from prison, secure health settings, or are transitioning from Approved Premises. Your role will involve supporting all aspects of key engagement activities, aiding their rehabilitation, reablement, and reintegration into society by providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions, that will enable successful resettlements and work with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve desired outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Support residents who may be facing challenges with substance misuse, helping them take positive steps forward.
• Creating one to one person centred support plans to support residents in achieving their goals.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times during the shift, including regular check ins and carrying our protocols.
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities during the evening which may include movie nights and games nights.
• Lone working is part of the role, but you’ll always have a supportive team around.
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service.

We work with people across the Borough of Erewash and the neighbouring Borough of Broxtowe. Our public office is on Main Street in Long Eaton and we have two houses for homeless men and one house for homeless women.

Canaan Trust operates 24-7, 365 days a year. We aim to provide care and support to anyone with problems relating to homelessness, insecure accommodation, benefits, debt and food poverty.

We deliver essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from our Wellbeing Centres and other locations across the county. We help individuals experiencing mental ill health to make choices, find their solutions, build resilience and manage their wellbeing. We offer opportunities for individuals to get support to allow them to recover from or live with mental ill health.

About the role

As People Officer, you will provide high-quality, accurate support across the full employee/volunteer lifecycle, while also contributing to employee and volunteering relations, and continuous improvement of our People & Culture services. You will be a role model for our values and a key contributor to a positive team culture

As People Officer you will be part of a team who support a headcount of approximately 250 employees, 200 volunteers and 150 self-employed individuals across Hertfordshire. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all individuals employed or volunteering within Hertfordshire Mind receive advice, guidance in a responsive, knowledgeable, and customer-focused way.

Key Responsibilities include:

Employee Lifecycle

• Deliver a high-quality, confidential and customer-focused People service from recruitment through to leaving.
• Advise line managers on recruitment; selection, interview and safer recruitment
• Provide People advice for queries from the People & Culture team in line with policies, managing and or escalating complex issues as appropriate.

Systems, Data & Reporting

• Produce timely and accurate People management information to assist organisational decision-making. (ihasco, Breathe, Livepay, Charity log, etc)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the HR information system (Breathe HR), including new profiles, personal data, annual leave and absence reporting.
• Oversee monthly payroll data collation, including hours, absences, and any contractual changes, ensuring timely submission to Payroll.
• Ensure Breathe annual holiday renewal and other system updates are effectively completed and communicated

Employee Relations & Case Management

• Manage employee relations cases, such as sickness absence, conduct, capability, disciplinary, grievance, family focussed leave, flexible working requests.
• Undertake casework, guiding and advising on relevant procedure including gathering evidence and drafting investigation reports, tracking case progress and ensuring communications and actions are completed.
• Provide consistent and fair advice to managers in accordance with policies, escalating complex issues as appropriate.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to projects such as employee engagement initiatives, policy updates, wellbeing programmes, EDIE (VIBE, Voice, Inclusion, Belonging, Engagement) and system improvements.
• Support quality assurance processes in line with National Mind policies and ISO9001 standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve people processes, recommending and implementing enhancements under the guidance of the People & Culture Director

General Responsibilities

• To support any member of the People and Culture team and to cover team absence as required.
• Note taking for meetings as required
• Promote Hertfordshire Mind services by attending events, campaigns, and open days to raise awareness of mental health.
• Uphold Hertfordshire Mind policies and procedures, including the Equalities Statement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Senior Leadership Team.
