Trusts and Foundations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Trusts and Foundations Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from Trusts and Foundations from first engagement to account management, delivery and reporting.
First Give is a small charity, with a growing fundraising team and big ambitions. You will therefore be someone who thrives in a start-up environment, willing to try new things. We are looking for an exceptional writer, someone who can translate the impact of our work into proposals that inspire and motivate the reader to give.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and the Director to manage relationships with existing donors, and leading on the development of high value bids to expand our work. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident communicator and grant fundraiser with experience managing and deepening relationships with high value trusts and foundations gifts – someone who thrives on storytelling and social impact. We currently have a strong pipeline of trusts and foundations and are looking for someone eager to write applications and secure funding.
Contract: Full-time, 35 hours per week; core hours - 10am till 4pm
Location: We have office space at the Pears Hub in West Hampstead, where some people come in one or two times a week, we're very flexible.

This is a broad, outward-facing role, combining leadership, oversight and hands-on delivery. Alongside helping shape how the team operates, you will lead and grow major donor fundraising, building relationships with high-value supporters, owning a portfolio, and playing a central role in securing significant gifts.

The charity was founded by Dr Shelley Gilbert MBE, and works to offer a way through the anxiety, fear and isolation so often caused by grief. Bereavement is devastating at any age, but for a child it is life changing.
An open-access charity, funded by the generosity of supporters, they are here to help ease the pain and confusion caused by the death of a parent or sibling. Services include one-to-one counselling, music therapy, grief relief kits and much more.

If you join the team…
You’ll be a senior leader in the Income Generation team, working closely with the Director of Income to help lead a nine-strong team and shape how the function develops. You will provide day-to-day management support, help bring structure and consistency to ways of working, and play a key role in building a collaborative, supportive culture across the team.
Alongside management and strategy duties, you will lead on Major Donors fundraising, building strong and lasting relationships with major donors while confidently leading on stewardship. You’ll help to secure sustainable income in a wholly donation-funded model, while raising awareness of childhood bereavement.

We are looking for a Supporter Engagement Manager to drive growth in the Individual Giving programme through a mix of acquisition and retention campaigns.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the North London office. The team can consider 4 or 5 days a week.
The Charity
A warm and collaborative hospice, with offices are in an incredible new purpose built building in a beautiful nature reserve. The team are on site with patients and community they support and it is a warm, collaborative space. The team of 40 raise £4.7m.
The Role
With support from the Head of Supporter Engagement and the Supporter Engagement Officer, you would develop and deliver the annual Individual Giving programme including acquisition and retention activities.
Manage the Door-to-Door Supporter recruitment campaign and the external F2F agency relationship.
Take responsibility for growing the Lotteries programme through a rolling programme of promotions to existing and potential Supporters.
Lead on digital campaigns to recruit and retain new supporters.
With support, produce annual Individual Giving budgets and monitor performance against agreed targets on a rolling basis.
Line manage the Supporter Engagement Officer, who oversees primarily challenge events activities.
The Candidate
Demonstrable experience of successfully managing Individual Giving and Supporter stewardship programmes and budgets.
Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering digital campaigns.
Experience of developing supporter segmentation strategies and working with a CRM.

This is a full-time, permanent role paying a salary of £38,072 per annum. The postholder will be working in a hybrid model from their offices in Canterbury.
The Supporter Development Manager will shape and lead the organisation's individual giving and legacy programmes at a pivotal moment for the charity. You will grow the value and longevity of support from new and existing donors by providing excellent donor care and stewardship.
The organsiation are looking for someone with experience of leading on an individual giving budget. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of planning and delivering on multi-channel campaigns to grow donor bases.
