The Domestic Abuse Service Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of the Domestic Abuse Emergency, Safe & Supported Accommodation, to providing safe, trauma-informed, survivor-led accommodation and support to victims of domestic abuse including children.

The Domestic Abuse Service Manager will lead a team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support, safe housing management, and compliance with contractual, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements. The role will work closely with external partners to ensure victims are supported to remain safe, recover, and move towards longer-term housing stability.

Outline of Role
As RCF enters this exciting stage, there is huge demand for our support in a wide range of global contexts, and our key challenge is to ensure we have robust institutional capacity - systems and procedures - to attract and effectively administer growing levels of investment.

As RCF attracts multi-year funding from a wider range of partners – including large grant providers and high-net-worth individuals - we need greater financial management capacity to ensure we are managing our resources responsibly and effectively. There will therefore be a strong focus on managing RCF’s finances – and strong experience in this area will be essential. There is also a focus on wider aspects of our operations and human resourcing.

The jobholder will work closely with the Co-Director (Strategy and Organisational Development) receiving support and encouragement where required. There will always be a strong focus on personal growth and for the right candidate there is scope to quickly grow into leading the finance and operations functions, reporting directly to Trustees and senior strategic partners and becoming a key strategic voice in the organisation.

The role

As a Senior Coach you will be working on the frontline delivering high quality one-to-one support to a caseload of young people across London. You will support young people to recognise and capitalise on their strengths by taking a coaching approach. What we're looking for

We are looking for a driven, experienced individual, with the relevant skills to provide high quality support to a caseload of young people and ensure we give the very best we can. The Community Engagement Co-ordinator is responsible for developing with the Communications Manager a community engagement strategy for ScotsCare, in order to increase awareness and engagement with ScotsCare services and support, with the aim of increasing the number of people using ScotsCare services. Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish Cymru and 2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has since grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.

We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.

In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we expanded into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Context of role:

The Business Services Officer provides high quality administrative and operational support across governance, IT, facilities, data protection, recruitment and general administration.

Working closely with the Head of Finance & Business Services, this role ensures the charity has strong internal systems, efficient processes, and compliant practices that enable staff to deliver services effectively and compassionately.

This role will support the whole organisation in both the office setting and our remote workers across England and Wales.

Key responsibilities:

Business Services and Operations

• Support the Head of Finance & Business Services in the effective running of business functions including HR, IT, governance, and office management.
• Maintain essential organisational policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring regular review cycles.
• Manage contracts with suppliers, service providers, and facilities contractors.

Staff support

• Assist department heads with recruitment processes including job adverts, application management, interview coordination, and onboarding.

• Support wellbeing initiatives and contribute to developing a positive, compassionate staff culture.
• Coordinate staff training, mandatory learning, and policy briefings.

Governance and Compliance

• Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filing of required documents.
• Support risk management processes, including maintaining organisational risk registers.
• Assist with GDPR compliance, data audits, and data protection processes.
• Prepare policies for Board approval with the assistance of Peninsula.

Leadership and People Management

• Act as first point of contact for basic IT and systems issues, escalating when necessary.
• Support the effective use of Microsoft 365, CRM/databases, and operational software including educating others on effective usage.
• Project manage the development of NOVA – our CRM system.
• Liaise with IT providers to ensure smooth delivery of technical support, security, and digital improvements.
• Issue IT equipment required for work to all new employees and maintain asset register.
• Ensuring Cyber Security essentials is complete working with IT consultant ITCS.

Facilities and Office Management

• Oversee day-to-day management of office space, equipment, and environment. Monitoring potential growth of office spaces into England.
• Manage health & safety processes including risk assessments, incident logs, and mandatory checks.
• Monitor office supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement.

Administration and Organisational Support

• Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team where required.
• Maintain central records, filing systems, and registers to a high standard both electronically and paper based.

General:

• To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration.
• To adhere to all company policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working; and to be proactive in implementing new safe working practices as appropriate.
• To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity as necessary.
• Participate as and when required in team meetings and one-to-one meetings, and undertake, as appropriate, courses/training/other developmental activities, which is relevant to the role.

The Role 
 
Reporting to the Head of Retail Property and Estates, as Centre Manager, you will lead a multiskilled team that delivers a consistently positive visitor experience at our flagship Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre at Hornbeam Park, Harrogate. This team provides a high level of customer service to the public across face-to-face interactions, email and telephone, while also creating a supportive working environment for employees and volunteers. This includes ensuring that the right resources, refreshments, and a clean, well maintained workspace are always available. 

As part of the visitor experience, you will be accountable for the safe and legally compliant operation of the Hornbeam Café and for ensuring it provides a comfortable and pleasant environment for customers. This includes managing the Café Manager and offering an appropriate balance of support and challenge in what is a high activity, high impact role 

You will be responsible for all health and safety elements within the Centre, including weekly fire alarm tests, routine checks and food preparation audits. The team also manages a range of consumables, so the role requires strong cost control, effective stock usage, and regular feedback on Yorkshire Cancer Research materials. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Ensure that all Health, Safety Fire and COSHH checks are carried out as required diligently, regularly and to the required standard. 

• Work closely with the Café Manager to maintain high standards of food safety through appropriate compliance adherence and regular audits. 

• Report any maintenance issues to facilities through the Yorkshire Cancer Research platform EVERY. 

• Line manage a Café Manager and a team of Centre Support Assistants and ensure they offer a positive, professional and warm welcome to all visitors. Manage the Centre Support Assistants ensuring cover on the Welcome Desk across key operating hours. 

• Develop a volunteer team with potential new role profiles to enhance the Centre Team. 

• Represent the Yorkshire Cancer Research brand positively, role modelling a professional appearance and presence in line with our values. 

• Support the team to maintain high standards at the centre with and in the Welcome Area. 

• Lead the team to provide visitors with up-to-date Yorkshire Cancer Research literature, offering the marketing team feedback on the documents provided. 

• Lead the team to ensure all working spaces including, meeting rooms and the kitchen area are well stocked and maintained. 

• Conduct recruitment processes when required and provide thorough induction and training for new recruits, ensuring new team members are well integrated into their roles and team. 

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• Proven experience of working in a similar role at a similar level.

• Experience of leading, building and developing a team.

• Experience of creating, developing and streamlining operational and administrative processes and procedures. 

• Proven experience of implementing systems and conducting training as necessary.

• Proven experience of monitoring budgets and tracking progress.

• Proven experience of delivering tangible process improvement.

• Experience of proactively working to advance skills through continued professional development relevant to the role and level.

• Experience of basic Health and Safety and Fire training in previous roles alongside an awareness of GDPR, Cyber Security and Safeguarding or can demonstrate awareness of the above. Good understanding of Data Protection principles and food safety 

• Experience of working in the hospitality sector. In terms of budget management and good practice. 

This is an onsite, hands on and demanding role, requiring someone who can remain calm under pressure and knows when to escalate issues.

We are looking for a Programmes Officer to work closely on our international programmes supporting older people and people with disabilities in Eastern Europe. The role involves supporting the administration and project management of our large portfolio of 33 projects, working with our local partners to monitor implementation and capture data and impact. Part of the role is acting as a focal point for fundraising and communication teams, sharing key project updates to assist with their income-raising and engagement activities. 

You will join our International Programmes team, which is responsible for delivering programmes through strong local partnerships across our Humanitarian and Climate, Older People and Livelihood Development portfolios.

You should have:

• Knowledge of Eastern Europe region/context with focus on Ukraine
• Experience in the international development/ charitable sector
• Experience of remote working with overseas partners
• Demonstrable experience of maintaining Monitoring and Evaluation processes in international development programming
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse and interpret data
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with overseas partners with varying levels of English
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English, and willingness to communicate in Russian with partners located outside Ukraine
• Ability to produce high quality written work under pressure and to deadlines
• Strong administrative, research and organisational skills
• Demonstrable skills in financial management and budgeting
• Ability to work in a team and use initiative
• A commitment and empathy to the work and values of World Jewish Relief
• Willingness to travel overseas if deemed necessary
