About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team at CoppaFeel!. Contributing to the running of our financial systems and processes, the successful applicant will also be providing financial information to support the fundraising team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to develop their career in charity finance, who will support our Director of Finance and Head of Finance and Contracts looking after CF! finances. You will be confident with data entry and working across our fundraising and finance systems to ensure income is coded correctly. This role requires reconciling income from many different fundraising platforms and working with our external financial provider.
You will sit within the CoppaFeel! Finance Team and report to Head of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Income & Reconciliation
Accurately code and reconcile income from various fundraising platforms (e.g., JustGiving, CAF) in Beacon to Xero
Tracking income (following current processes) and notify fundraising of certain income
Raise draft invoices as per request, ensuring correct documentation is uploaded
Accounts Payable & Administration
Process and check with accuracy for staff expense claims, Direct Debits and supplier invoices through APM.
Support monthly staff Soldo card submissions, ensuring timely submission of correct receipts
Conducting checks on large invoices with supplier
Finance Systems & Reporting
Assist with generating basic financial reports (e.g. aged payables/receivables)
Support the production of basic reports to budget holders if needed
Support with administration of updating management accounts
Support & Compliance
Assist with audit preparation by gathering information and following up on outstanding documentation
Support the maintenance and adherence of finance policies and procedures
Provide induction-level finance support and guidance to new staff (e.g. using APM, where finance policies are, expense submission)
General
Handle finance-related post and filing
Maintain the Finance inbox; where applicable respond to internal finance queries otherwise pass on to others in Finance team as necessary
Support with collation of documentation for Gift Aid claims and maintain accurate donor records for Gift Aid
Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and tasks as required

The Opportunity

Specifically, this will involve project management for delivering the Forum’s objectives, overseeing the project communications plan and establishing and leading delivery working groups. You will oversee and support the work of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum’s Lived Experience Coordinator, act as an adviser on good practice for partners and ensure that co-production, collaboration and a person centred focus is at the heart of everything you do.

You will have experience of managing complex projects, including using a range of Project Management techniques and influencing system change using an evidence base. An outstanding and adaptable communicator, you will have experience of chairing meetings, delivering presentations and working in a multi-disciplinary context with external stakeholders. The aim of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum is to bring about system change for homelessness support in Norfolk, by ensuring that the people’s views are transferred into policies and practices that truly support and serve the community. The prospect research and pipeline management role is pivotal to fundraising at Sue Ryder – you will sit within the Philanthropy and Partnership team and will be working across the Corporate, Trust, Major Donor and Regional teams. The purpose of the role is to utilise effective and efficient administrative and fundraising skills to assist in delivering both financial and non-financial targets which will provide a gateway to all fundraising activity across Maggie’s.
As Centre Fundraiser, you will assist the Centre Fundraising Manager to implement the fundraising strategy to deliver income targets through proactive donor recruitment and excellent donor care.
This includes supporting and retaining existing supporters and researching new key relationships with individuals as well as partnerships with local businesses, groups and associations.

About the Role
Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 18 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation.
In this role, you will provide direct support to all the women, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork. You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist. You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.
Salary: £36,380

Started by students and graduates of Oxford University (hence the OK in our name - Oxford Kilburn) The OK Club has been providing activities for children and young people for the past 60 years and we have exciting plans for our next phase of development.
As well as continuing our programme of youth and children’s activities, over the last couple of years we have also expanded our provision to make the club building available to the wider community. Taking an asset based approach, our Community Animator enabled us to open our doors and connect in a new way with our neighbours.
As CEO you will be responsible for overseeing three key areas -
Applicants will have proven experience of leadership in a charity or community context. The ability to work positively with young people is essential, and experience of managing a building and budgets is also important.
Our funding from John Lyon is initially for three years but we anticipate that, with a brilliant new CEO our funding will grow to make the post sustainable.
The OK Club is located in South Kilburn, North West London. We currently find ourselves in the middle of a building site (quite literally) and that our neighbourhood is changing drastically. Brent Council are continuing their massive regeneration project - demolishing all existing tower blocks and replacing them with new ones, with a greater number of housing units. While much around us is changing, our desire to support children and young people with play and development opportunities is as strong as ever.
The OK Club currently has:
A part time Youth Work Development Officer who oversees our youth work programme.
A part time Building Manager.
A part time Community Animator.
A part time Children's Worker.
Four interns (two full time and two part time, shared with churches), usually from abroad on gap year schemes.
Christian Holt House which can accommodate up to five further individuals who live as part of the missional community and are required as part of their tenancy to contribute to Club activities.
A small but important number of volunteers are recruited from among parents and the community generally. We are keen to grow this team, particularly with older young people and other members of the local community.
Our site contains the following facilities:
A sports hall
3 x activity spaces
A kitchen
Garden
Two upper floors which are currently rented out to other organisations.
We have been funded by Brent Council to renovate our Sports Hall and have ambitious plans for our whole site development in the coming years.
The work of the OK Club is overseen by a Management Committee (Trustees) who meet every two months, and the post will be Line Managed by one of the Trustees.

About the Service
Our Peripatetic Team provide front-line support to Solace’s Advice, Community and Accommodation-based Services across London. Crisis Intervention Workers enable our services to deliver a consistent high standard of service.
The team was created in order to have trained, skilled staff ready to cover gaps in service and facilitate the continued smooth running of services, proactively supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. They are required to go into different teams and quickly establish themselves and provide support in times where staff teams may be struggling.
About the Role
In all services, peri workers provide nonjudgmental, confidential, and psychologically-informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical tasks include risk assessment, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans. Other roles require house management, outreach and health and safety tasks.
Peri workers have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services. Working across departments offers peri workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.
The role will involve commuting to sites across London, and although hybrid working may be available in some projects it is not possible for all. Travel is taken into consideration when confirming placements, however you should be prepared for longer commutes.
This role in certain placements will require you to work a rota including weekend hours between 8am – 8pm.

The Peripatetic Team is dynamic – entering services at short notice to provide a continued level of support. Our colleagues bring a wide range of transferrable skills and different experiences to the team that informs our practice and work with survivors.
The Peripatetic Team is looking for passionate advocates who understand the importance of working in a psychologically-informed way with both survivors and colleagues, who are willing to continuously learn and develop their skills, and who understand the impacts violence against women and girls can have on women with intersecting identities. While prior experience of working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not a requirement and if you have transferrable skills and a passion for supporting women and children then we would love to hear from you.
You will be a great fit in the Peri Team if you embrace change, have a growth mindset, and are comfortable working independently. Although peri workers are dispersed across different services, the team offers regular opportunities to connect with fellow peri colleagues.
