About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Casework Manager (£41,400) to lead our dedicated frontline team in Streatham Hill, with hybrid working available. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Supervision & Casework: Lead and safely oversee complex legal and advocacy casework, ensuring service delivery aligns with active OISC Level 2 requirements.

• Team Leadership & Development: Provide high-quality line management, regular casework supervision, and professional development support to a team of dedicated caseworkers.

• Service Quality & Compliance: Monitor workload capacity, ensure data accuracy on CRM databases (e.g., Salesforce), and uphold strict data protection and confidentiality standards.

• Safeguarding: Maintain robust child and young adult safeguarding protocols across all activities up to the age of 25.

Join the Renewal Programme as our Community Hub Activities Coordinator and help bring people aged 55+ together through guided walks, social activities and our Community Connection Café. We’re looking for a warm, organised and community-focused person who can build trusted relationships and help residents feel welcomed, connected and supported.

The Community Hub Activities Coordinator will lead the day-to-day coordination of a one-year walking, wellbeing and social connection programme for Newham residents aged 55 and over. The programme combines a weekly accessible guided walk, delivered in partnership with other external partners with a weekly Community Connection Café facilitated by the postholder.

The postholder will build trusted relationships with residents who may be isolated, inactive, recently bereaved, living with long-term health conditions or lacking confidence to join community activities. They will coordinate outreach, referrals, venues, volunteers, safeguarding, signposting and monitoring so that participants receive a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience. The role will ensure that walking is a gateway to friendship, confidence, healthier ageing and wider practical support.

You will be co-located at LBHF Children Social Care Offices and will be directly supporting victim/survivors known to children's services. You will manage a caseload, deliver training and consultations to social care professionals and help raise their awareness, identification of and response to those experiencing domestic violence. Working jointly with Social Workers on cases you will support service users and improve partnership responses. You will provide high-quality telephone or face to face crisis intervention, information, advocacy and support to women referred to the service, in respect to risk management and safety planning, criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, and children’s legislation.

About You:

You will be an experienced IDVA with an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse in various areas of need, with particular knowledge on children safeguarding/legislation. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

Your abilities extend to assessing the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. Advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and proactively advocate to ensure barriers to accessing support and protection are reduced. You will work as an advocate and educator to raise awareness and upskill professionals within Children Social Care plus work with colleagues to successfully develop and deliver training.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.

Key Responsibilities - 

To deliver tailored, holistic support to women affected by violence and abuse and living in the community, including practical and emotional support to increase women’s and children’s safety and meet identified needs.

As a Recovery Worker, you will exercise professional judgement to respond to residents' changing needs, providing calm and effective support during periods of heightened distress while maintaining a strong focus on safety and recovery. You will support people experiencing a range of complex challenges, including severe mental health difficulties, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, psychotic experiences and substance misuse, using de-escalation and other appropriate non-clinical interventions. Join us as the Remediation Legal Compliance Manager and play a vital role in ensuring Peabody's fire remediation programme remains legally compliant, well-governed and aligned with evolving building safety legislation.

About the role

As Remediation Legal Compliance Manager, you'll support the delivery of Peabody's fire remediation legal compliance and grant funding programme. Reporting to the Senior Fire Remediation Legal Compliance Manager, you'll lead a team of three while ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance and effective management of legal obligations across a complex remediation portfolio.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the Property, Legal, Governance and Fire Remediation teams to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, support grant funding applications and maintain critical records that underpin programme delivery.

What You'll Do

• Maintain comprehensive land registry title hierarchies, lease reviews and obligation records across the fire remediation portfolio
• Prepare and submit grant funding applications to relevant government bodies and monitor application progress
• Support the delivery of Homes England Cladding Safety Scheme requirements, including reporting, administration and coordination activities
• Monitor emerging legislation and regulatory developments, ensuring colleagues understand their responsibilities and any changes to compliance requirements
• Produce compliance reports and support governance reporting relating to fire remediation activity
• Maintain asset, liability and compliance records, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and auditable
• Support litigation management, risk assessments and the implementation of compliance controls across the programme
• Ensure governance processes, procedures and document controls remain robust and compliant with organisational requirements

• Significant experience in a legal, compliance, governance or regulated environment
