We are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support. You’ll play a key role in supporting the employee experience, providing top-notch support to all teams in the organisation and be comfortable working with all levels of seniority.  

Experience of employee relations will be pivotal in supporting the organisation as we transition to a unionised environment. As a trusted advisor, you will have sound employment law knowledge and be comfortable with challenging conversations, supporting managers with any issues such as sickness absence, capability or a disciplinary procedure. 

You’ll ensure that recruitment costs are kept to a minimum, work with recruitment managers to ensure vacancies are advertised following internal processes and ensure employment contracts are finalised before onboarding starts.  You'll also be happy using systems to assign training to new joiners and to existing staff, keeping records of courses and ensuring that safeguarding training is completed.

The Critical Time Intervention (CTI) Worker will provide person centred assistance during the transition from custody to community integration. By following the Critical Time Intervention model the CTI Worker will collaborate with a range of services to enable the individual to access them and use a range of appropriate interventions to assist the individual to become more independent and connected.

This also combines with an equitable approach to ensure that any systemic barriers are challenged and that the voices, experiences and stories of people navigating this transition are heard. About you

• Being person centred to build relationships, use assessments and develop goals and actions that are based on what is important for the individual.
• Working within the principles of the Critical Time Intervention model and understanding the challenges faced in the transition from custody to community integration.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships within HM Prison & Probation Service and other organisations to assist with receiving referrals, signposting, making external referrals and advocacy.
• Promote engagement with co-production opportunities within the service as well as actively seeking feedback on service delivery and improvement from the people accessing the service.
• Using reflective practice, caseload management meetings and personal development opportunities to deliver a quality service and work within the values of Crisis.
• Being able to identify and manage safeguarding concerns utilising a range of communication methods.

About the Service and the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) to manage the daily operations of our Blended Teams functions.

This includes managing a core team of workers in a diverse range of projects and services often in partnership with the NHS and other VCSE and community groups. The role will involve multi-agency working and ensuring the continuous development of our services to ensure that they meet the needs of the community and blended team outcomes.

Ideally, you will be required to have knowledge of managing remote teams who may be imbedded in NHS services and the ideal candidate would have the skills to support staff with the complex challenges that come with blended working as well as maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be required to hold your own caseload, supporting the teams with more complex service users and cover gaps in services.

Key Responsibilities and Service Delivery

• Operate a service and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s and blended team model and contract requirements.
• Work with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) and senior managers to ensure the management of an effective workforce including recruitment and performance management challenges
• Ensure that services with complex partnerships and remote teams are effectively managed and maintained, through effective relationship building and multi-agency working.
• Ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteer and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
• Assess suitability for community connection support as part of a blended team approach and support individuals to access the service by utilising in depth knowledge of local voluntary and community services and networks.
• To work with individuals to coproduce a plan to address their mental health and wellbeing goals. Enable people to achieve these goals through facilitating access and connecting with appropriate resources.
• Enable people to access community resources which may include accompanying them.
• Offer support, guidance and help where possible to people to gain confidence, overcome initial fears and seek solutions to any barriers inhibiting attendance.
• Take a holistic approach, based on the individuals’ priorities and wider determinants of health that impact on their health and wellbeing, such as debt, poor housing, being unemployed, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
• To work as part of an integrated team to ensure the best outcomes for each person accessing the service.

The Role

Doctors and medical students are central to RMBF’s identity and impact, and this role is designed to ensure we build and sustain an engaged, well-supported and effective volunteer network. We are SIFA Fireside, the support service for any adult in Birmingham that faces homelessness. For 40 years we have supported Birmingham’s most vulnerable people through Homelessness Intervention, Prevention and Recovery services.

Our Service Managers play an essential role in the operational delivery of SIFA Fireside’s vision, being responsible for the day-to-day management of our service delivery. Funded by the National Lottery, you will manage the daily operations of the project's youth programmes - encouraging participants to get involved in the core activities, including boxing training, mentoring, and personal development - while working with local partners to reach out to those facing the toughest barriers, such as poverty and social exclusion.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Programme Management: Oversee the delivery of high-quality sessions that combine sport with a positive development ethos.
• Mentoring: Establish and maintain over 50 formal mentoring relationships to provide personalised guidance and trust.
• Outreach & Partnerships: Build formal links with local schools, social services, and community groups to maximise our impact.
• Growth: Lead the expansion of our offer to reach over 1,400 young people by Year 2.

Monitoring & Evaluation: Implement systems to track engagement and produce insightful reports for stakeholders and funders.

You’ll also be the guiding light for our delivery partners and service providers as we want them to deliver the best experience and outcomes for our young people. High-fives all around! Roll up your sleeves and deliver employability sessions directly to our incredible young people. You'll also help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.

And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, you’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

The West Sussex Parent Carer Forum (WSPCF) is an independent organisation for the parent carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). We support parent carers by providing information, signposting, and training that equips them in their lifelong caring role and empowers them to participate in shaping services for their children and young people.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and passionate person who is committed to collaborating with education, health and care partners, to strengthen co production and drive service and system change in West Sussex. You will be an excellent, persuasive communicator and have had demonstrable success at partnership working. Skills and experience required

• Parent carer of a child or young person aged 0-25 years old, living in West Sussex with a special educational need or disability (SEND) • Strong understanding of the SEND landscape, including the needs and experiences of parent carers and children/young people with SEND • Experience of overseeing delivery of multiple projects or workstreams • Experience using monitoring, evaluation and feedback to shape priorities, demonstrate outcomes and assess impact • Experience in strategic leadership • Experience of partnership working with senior leaders across local authorities, health, education, VCSE sectors • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organisational skills • Confidence in IT and financial oversight • Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and to empowering parent carers • Ability to lead staff and volunteers, including providing supervision and support • Creative, innovative and reflective approach to problem solving

We are looking for a Tennis Development Officer to support the delivery of tennis as one of our Focus Sports. The role combines tennis delivery with desk-based sports administration and student engagement. We are looking for someone passionate about developing tennis in all forms - from running beginner friendly sessions to working with students to co-create community volunteering projects.

Do you have experience coaching tennis? Have you had experience delivering sports leagues and events? Do you want to support students to develop professional skills through tennis? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you.
