We are looking for a dynamic, technically skilled Head of Evaluation to play a senior role in shaping and delivering Youth Futures’ evidence strategy.
You will lead a team of Evidence and Evaluation Managers and oversee a portfolio of complex evaluations, helping us generate credible, useful evidence about what works to support marginalised young people into good work.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Evidence and Evaluation, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of a portfolio of complex impact evaluations.
You will have a sound understanding of youth employment and/or skills and design evidence-generating projects in a complex field that includes partners from national and devolved government, the third sector and employers.
You will manage a team of Evaluation Managers, supporting their development while delivering projects that inform Youth Futures’ strategic goals.
This is an opportunity to shape some of the most important evidence being generated on youth employment in England. The role suits someone who enjoys combining technical evaluation expertise with leadership, judgement and collaboration, and who wants their work to influence real decisions about how services, funders and policymakers support young people.

We have two fantastic opportunities to join our Service Charges team as Regional Service Charge Managers. Based from our office in Basingstoke, you'll combine office and home working in line with our hybrid approach, with occasional travel to our Wembley office for team meetings.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Service Charge Setting and Administration, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating the Regional Service Charges team in the South West region in the delivery of the service charge calculations (all tenure types) and annual service charge statements to customers in line with legal and regulatory requirements. The portfolio consists of approximately 20,000 units with a total annual service charge income budget of c.£20 million. Responsibilities include:
Managing the Regional Service Charge team with a focus on articulating a clear vision, providing direction, and promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement
Setting the annual service charge expenditure and income budget across all tenures within the region
Accountability for the annual service charge estimate and final account process, ensuring the risk associated with rechargeable service charges is effectively managed and regulatory time scales are met
Working collaboratively across the business to support continuous service improvement and deliver excellent customer service to customers across different tenure types, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Reviewing and approving the certification of annual service charges, documenting the calculation and apportionment process, including the reports and supporting documentation to facilitate the certification
Producing and analysing regular reports on recoverable repairs and maintenance expenditure, estimated service charge income and ad-hoc reports dependant on business requirements
What we're looking for
You should have previous experience in a similar management role within service charges. You'll need to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, being adept in managing fixed and variable charges in a large and complex setting, preferably in a housing context. You'll also need:
To be an experienced leader, skilled in developing high-performing teams and consistently maintaining high operational standards
Thorough understanding of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (as amended) and other guidance and best practice for service charges
To be qualified by experience or a qualified accountant with a solid understanding of accounting practices and concepts including account reconciliations
Ability to take ownership and work independently whilst meeting tight organisational deadlines
Strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrating collaborative, cross-functional working relationships, including experience liaising with external stakeholders, e.g. auditors, regulators and Ombudsman
Experience in directly engaging with customers, addressing queries, and delivering clear, concise written communication
Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate / advanced excel
Knowledge and experience of using housing management and property management systems (e.g. Workday, SUN, Agresso, NEC, Active H or similar)

Now’s an exciting time to join us as we work on a new multi-year strategy and expand the team yet again, bringing in new resource to give the different activity areas space to grow and ensure we can do our best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing our careers and enjoying work within an ambitious and supportive environment.
This role is new, created to focus on community fundraising which is a growing area with huge potential for PCR. We currently receive significant unsolicited income from our brilliant supporters, but there is a key opportunity to take a more proactive approach to recruiting new community fundraisers, improving their supporter experience and testing new offerings & products. You will work with the team to create and deliver a plan for this new proactive approach and will lead on day-to-day relationship management with fundraisers.
You will also lead the project management and delivery of some community-focused fundraising events. For example,our annual Snowdonia for Science event or testing new PCR-owned products which work for a community fundraising audience. We currently expect the split of time to be roughly 75% on community fundraising and 25% on events, but the two areas will be closely connected, and this split may change over time. We are excited to work with you to develop the direction of this role as the team and portfolio grows.
You will report to the Head of Events & Community and work closely with the whole team, as well as colleagues across PCR. Most of the Events team try to work together once a week when possible at our London office (Chancery Lane) but we have flexible working arrangements, so you can choose to be office based or hybrid. About the role
This is a fixed term role with a clear mission, created specifically to support Crisis’ CRM Transformation programme. We are migrating to a new CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, underpinned by a Modern Data Platform, and the next nine to twelve months are critical as the new platform enters live operation. We're looking for a Tenancy Sustainment & Community Progression Coordinator to support people as they make the transition from homelessness into accommodation. They provide practical guidance and motivational support to help people manage their tenancies and settle into a new community. The Coordinator supports housed clients to resolve problems so that repeat homelessness is prevented. They also connect people using Catching Lives’ services to community activities or groups, and enable access to employment, training, education and volunteering opportunities so that people improve their skills, confidence, social connection and well-being.

Catching Lives is a community charity, currently staffed by a team of 10. We’re in the process of expanding with current recruitment, so that we can introduce community-based support alongside strengthening our core day centre offer.
The successful candidate will complete a structured induction that includes shadowing colleagues and visiting local services. Staff typically attend weekly team meetings on Wednesday afternoons, as well as having regular 1-1s with their line manager, and there is confidential access to an employee assistance scheme. The day centre offers free tea and coffee throughout the working day. As well as core training for new starters, there are ongoing training and development opportunities.

About you:
You will be an expert in the design and implementation of programmes, with a strong understanding of key trends in humanitarianism and development and the practical implementation of project delivery within these contexts. You should be an empathetic communicator, with experience creating, developing and implementing high quality policies, procedures and guidelines in a complex, diverse organisation. Experience managing collaborative programme/project activity with local or international partners in relevant contexts is essential, as is experience designing and leading capacity assessment and capacity support initiatives between partners. You should be organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously, with a strong attention to detail to produce high quality proposals and reports. Ultimately you should be interested in and committed to MAG’s humanitarian mandate and able to represent our work and key issues with authority in order to effectively advance our mission, vision, and values. Fluency in English is essential, and fluency in a relevant second language would be advantageous.
We’re looking for someone with:
· Proven experience in the design and implementation of humanitarian, development or peacebuilding projects and/or programmes.
· Proven experience of managing programme/project activity implemented with local or international partners in humanitarian or development contexts.
· Experience of designing and leading capacity assessment and capacity support initiatives between partners in humanitarian and development contexts.
