What you’ll do
This is a senior, strategic finance leadership role responsible for shaping long-term financial planning, leading business partnering across the organisation, and providing insight to support Executive decision-making and organisational sustainability.

Key details
Hours: Full-time: usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is possible.
Salary: £60,000 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme
Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). There may be occasions where additional office attendance is required, depending on business needs.

The Head of Programme will lead and oversee delivery of this large-scale, multi-partner strategic lottery programme, ensuring delivery through funded partners is aligned to the programme’s mission, vision and values, while maintaining strong programme management, compliance and delivery of agreed outcomes.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The Youth Endowment Fund believes that no child should be affected by violence. We research violence to understand it; we find, fund and test what works to prevent it; and we are building a movement to end it.
Key Responsibilities
We are making good progress building the evidence of what works within and around the youth sector to reduce violence. With the launch of the new Practice Guidance we are keen to translate evidence recommendations into practice. The greatest risk is that evidence stays on the shelf and doesn’t help young people – your role is to make sure that doesn’t happen.
You’ll focus on helping local authority commissioners use our tools and guidance in their everyday decisions about youth services. This will involve:
Creating clear, practical content like guides, toolkits and workshop materials to support the use of Practice Assessment for the Youth Sector (PAYS).
Leading our Practice Guidance programme, working closely with commissioners to help them use evidence in their work.
Building strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders across the sector.
Planning and tracking how we support more commissioners to adopt evidence-based approaches.
Spotting what tools or resources are needed and helping develop them.
Finding effective ways to share evidence, from events and workshops to online sessions and presentations.
As a senior member of staff in the organisation, you also:

About You

You might have this sort of experience:
Crafting and delivering a strategy to get a new piece of evidence or guidance adopted within the youth sector.
Behaviour change research experience.
Working with other funders and commissioners of youth services, such as housing investment leads.

JOB PURPOSE
The Business Analyst will strengthen how we work by improving processes, systems, and the way we use data. This is a hands-on role, working closely with multiple teams across the organisation to identify challenges and develop solutions that are practical, proportionate, reflect the day-to-day realities of the working environment and are aligned with our values. The role requires someone who is a great communicator, has a consultative approach and can quickly build trust with staff and the senior leadership team. They will be able to balance what is an ideal solution with what is feasible in a charity context. MAIN DUTIES
Collaborate with teams across Service Delivery, Finance, People Services, Income Generation, and senior leadership to identify operational needs, understand challenges, and shape improvements
Facilitate workshops and consultation events to build a shared understanding of needs and challenges
Co‑produce delivery excellence standards with people who use our services, ensuring their experiences and insights help shape how we design, assess, and improve our work.
Document and analyse current workflows across and within teams and identify where improvements can be made.
Translate organisational needs into clear, actionable proposals for system or process improvements.
Lead organisational change arising from the analysis, working with managers and staff to plan improvements, coordinate implementation, and ensure changes are mainstreamed across the organisation.
Work with the Data and Evidence Manager to improve data collection and reporting, ensuring that it supports changes to processes and workflows.

We’re looking for a detail-orientated People and Culture Administrator to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our People and Culture function. Salary: £55,000- £60,000 full time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full time or 0.8 FTE. Permanent. This is a hybrid role working from home and our office in Oxford. There is a requirement to attend the office once a week and for other meetings/work as required.
