• Collating, storing and manipulating data and information in the creation of graphs, tables, reports etc. to aid accessibility and understanding and to support decision-making within the team or with other stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of temporary and long-term planning solutions, addressing both regular cyclical activities, appointment processes and wider activity.

• Providing a small amount of administrative support, as needed, to the Appointments and Vocations Adviser and the Vocations and Development Adviser.

• Hybrid working arrangements and must be able to work within the office - Lambeth Palace, at least 2 days per week.
• A basic DBS check will be required as part of our pre-employment checks.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data manipulation), and strong working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps. This includes proofreading skills, ensuring accuracy and professionalism when producing high-quality correspondence and briefing materials.
• Database experience with the ability to navigate and understand basic functionality and design.
• High standards and accountability with a commitment to producing quality work and responding promptly.
• Confidentiality and discretion with the ability to handle sensitive information tactfully, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and conflicting deadlines.
• Sound judgement especially when managing urgent or complex matters.

• A salary of £42,114 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire support
• Confidence working with data to inform strategy and decision making

The Role

As a Stop Smoking Specialist, you will help to deliver our stop smoking service and underpin our commitment to support people to stop smoking and reduce the risk of cancer. You will provide specialist advice and support to our service users around tobacco addiction and provide evidence-based approaches in line with national guidance and good practice to help them to quit smoking.

Supporting the Services Manager and Head of Services, you will be vital in the implementation of our strategy to ensure people in Yorkshire receive the best prevention, diagnosis and treatment. You will deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions to patients referred into the service, providing support, advice and guidance either face to face, virtually or by telephone to maximise quitting outcomes. You will work as part of a team to respond to referrals and work  with our Active Together Services, which are being rolled out across Yorkshire, and NHS Trusts where we fund in patient smoking cessation programmes.

Specifically, you will:

· Autonomously deliver smoking cessation assessments, advice and support, minimising harm from tobacco and health-related issues in line with best guidance and protocols.

· Undertake client assessments, making appropriate pharmacotherapy decisions, provide ongoing client support and undertake 4 and 12 week follow-ups.

· Advise on stop smoking medications to patients, including all forms of NRT, vapes (e.cigarettes) as well as non-nicotine treatments.

· Manage a stock of NRT and Vaping Starter kits.

· Help patients who smoke to quit, communicating in a sensitive, client centred manner. 

· Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the service, including the completion of the minimum data set aligned to NHS England mandatory requirements. This will include following up with patients following discharge to monitor stop smoking outcomes.

· Manage caseload of patients and be responsible for all associated tasks, including follow-up appointments, and managing diary commitments.

· Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital or written information and instructions when sharing information, delegating, or handing over responsibility for care to ensure that smoking cessation records are kept up to date and accurate.

· Work collaboratively and co-operatively with other members of the team and observe operational policy and procedures requirements. 

· Work with the Services Manager and Head of Services to ensure that public and patient insight and involvement is captured, which will shape the development, delivery and evaluation of our service to make sure they are patient centred.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· To be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths.

· To be National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) Level 2 trained.

· To have demonstrable evidence of continuing professional development.

· To have intermediate theoretical knowledge of stop smoking support, gained through Level 2 NCSCT.

· To have substantial experience of providing smoking cessation support in a stop smoking service with good levels of quit rates.

· To have experience of working in Health and Social Care setting or community.

· To have experience of providing healthcare, healthcare advice or health improvement/promotion advice to patients or members of the public.

· To have experience of using Microsoft Office software and patient management systems such as Quit Manager.

· To have proven IT skills, including data entry, accurate reporting of agreed care plans, and experience using IT infrastructure to support effective handover of care.

· To have good knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice in stopping smoking, the consequences of smoking and the benefits of quitting.

· To be able to build and maintain good working relationships with professionals/individuals from different professional/cultural backgrounds.

Full-time | £34,000 per annum

The charity has been supporting children, young people and families for over 25 years through a range of play, family support and youth programmes. Their Ofsted-registered after-school and holiday play schemes provide children aged 4–11 with safe, engaging and nurturing environments to explore, grow and thrive.

As Deputy Play Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within the play service, helping to design, deliver and evaluate a high-quality programme of activities. You’ll support the Play Manager in day-to-day operations (including managing enquiries/collection of fees), team management and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.

This is a hands-on role combining leadership, planning, and active delivery — you’ll work directly with children and families to create safe, inclusive, and stimulating play environments.

About You

Essential skills and experience:

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Playwork, Early Years, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working directly with children aged 4–11.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

• Confident leading active, outdoor or adventure-based play.

We are looking for a new Finance Manager to be responsible for the effective day-to-day financial management of the charity supporting the CEO with the Finance Strategy.

She will be driven, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including the Charity Commission and Charity SORP (FRS 102).

She will work closely with the CEO, SMT and Trustees and she will provide clear, timely financial information to support sound operational and strategic decision-making and help ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

About this role: Based in Higher Openshaw, East Manchester, Justlife currently works across Manchester and Tameside providing one-to-one key work support to empower vulnerable adults housed in temporary accommodation (TA) to move towards more secure housing, independent living and improved health and wellbeing. The role of Specialist Support Worker involves playing an active part in the Specialist Support Team by supporting a caseload of clients that are experiencing housing vulnerability and taking part in regular outreach visits to TA’s across Greater Manchester on the Justlife minibus. The role requires the use of specialist knowledge and relationship skills to support clients with varying degrees of mental and physical health, addiction and trauma related issues to engage with health services and to access suitable housing solutions. The Specialist Support Worker is also expected to develop good working relationships with TA Landlords and Managers recognising the important role that they play in ensuring that their tenants experience of TA is as positive as possible. This will include advocacy in registering them for medical services and accompanying them to appointments, assisting them in addressing all aspects of physical and mental health and addiction needs, as well as advocating for them to get access to suitable housing and social security benefits. The role is dependent on excellent communication and collaborative working with colleagues and a variety of partners and professionals, including the Probation Service, local council services and other third sector organisations. The role requires a high degree of motivation in addition to creativity and flexibility to support people with multiple and compound needs. With a passion to work collaboratively with others for the good of our clients, and with experience of working in a related field in a voluntary or paid capacity. A high degree of emotional intelligence is required to support clients, many of whom have complex emotional needs, with backgrounds of trauma, neglect, abuse and involvement in the criminal justice system. In a role of this nature you will experience a range of emotions from joy to grief and as such it requires a high degree of resilience and self-awareness to cope with the emotional demands of the role. The role sits within a highly supportive team with all staff in receipt of regular line management and external clinical supervision; with reflective practice actively encouraged in team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the digital product portfolio, including website, microsites and third party platforms

The Common Road Service is a CQC registered is a home for one customer with learning disabilities and Autism, and supported by staff two to one 24 hours 7 days a week we are looking to maintain a staff team with an excellent value base to support the customer to build his life and develop his skills as an independent person.

What you'll do:

• Supporting the customer to undertake a full timetable of preferred activities including art, visiting galleries, attending community groups, visiting local amenities, and introducing them to new activities to expand their horizons and networks.
• Developing the customer's independent living skills and involving them in all aspects of maintaining and developing their home, including cooking, shopping, cleaning, and decorating.
• Enabling the customer to keep up with the important people in their life and to meet new people with shared interests.

• Supporting the customer to communicate their wants and needs and communicating with them in a person-centred way.
• Supporting the customer to manage their anxieties and frustrations, using Positive Behaviour Support and Autism-specific approaches.
• Collating a range of behavioural data and essential paperwork to be analysed within our local management structure.
