We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Nurse with a proven track record of providing exceptional support (care and skill) in a care setting (nursing practice), to join our Inverness CHAS at Home Team as a Staff Nurse.
As part of this growing team, you’ll contribute to the development and expansion of our at-home services in the North of Scotland, working in close collaboration with the CHAS Diana Children’s Nurse, NHS and local teams across Inverness and the wider Highlands and Islands.

About you
What we need you to bring
- First level registered and paediatric qualified nurse, all applicants will need to provide a valid UK NMC pin.
- Experience in a caring (nursing) role, working with children, young people and their families.
- Experience of prioritising a busy workload and demonstrating good time management skills
- Appetite to contribute to positive change to this service, and commitment to delivering care with empathy and compassion.
- Driving licence and access to a car as this role requires travel across the community.

About the role
This role will be leading in the financial business partnering needs of our Income Generation directorate.
Among your responsibilities will be the need to align financial plans to operational and strategic plans and make sure they’re clearly understood by Business Units. Seeing that each Unit is provided with a channel of effective, two-way communication with Finance will be important too. And, when it comes to seeing that they receive regular relevant and useful financial insight and analysis, again, we’ll count on you to deliver. You’ll be working within a great finance department to achieve this, who work as a team of experts to safeguard resources and support decision making across Shelter. Role specifics
We’re looking for a qualified accountant who is confident working with colleagues across an organisation and able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance audiences. You’ll have experience assessing financial risk and producing clear, insightful analysis to support good decision-making. With strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy and solid Excel skills, you’ll be comfortable managing your time, meeting deadlines and reprioritising when needed. Experience of charity finance and working with fundraising teams would be an advantage.

About the team
Shelter’s Finance Team sits within the Strategy Enablement Directorate, which also includes HR Operations, Technology and Data, and Governance, Planning and Property. The Finance Team consists of 32 people led by the Assistant Director of Finance.
This role sits within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team. FP&A produces financial reports and analysis, provides expert advice, and enables collaboration to support effective decision making throughout the charity.

The organisation is seeking a motivated and inspiring leader full of energy and ideas to lead and grow fundraising. The Interim Head of Development will lead the delivery of the fundraising strategy and will support any capital fundraising campaign planning for the future, while also liaising and reporting to the Board of Trustees where appropriate. The postholder will be responsible for generating all fundraised income (c. £1m per annum currently) from corporates, individuals and trusts and foundations, which represents approximately 26% of the organisation’s total income. About the Role
The Campaigner will support the development and delivery of campaigns that drive positive change within food systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their campaigning career who is passionate about influencing decision‑makers, mobilising public support, and helping deliver strategic impact across a variety of issues within food systems from dismantling industrial farming to delegitimising large corporations like large supermarket chains. This role will work collaboratively with colleagues across campaigns, so would suit an adaptive candidate with strong communication skills, keen to learn and grow within Foodrise.

- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation across a range of campaign activities, ensuring anti-oppressive practice is embedded throughout campaigns.
- Assist in monitoring political, social, and media developments relevant to campaign objectives.
- Support the conception and delivery of tactics such as petitions, public actions, stunts, digital engagement, supporter mobilisation and community organisation.
