About the team

About this role
The Head of Engagement is a strategically significant and high-impact role within the Philanthropy team, responsible for leading and developing Impetus’ engagement programme across both volunteering and pro bono support.

About the role
This exciting opportunity will be supporting the Third Party Events Manager with the ongoing development of our third party running and challenge events. You’ll be forming strong relationships with our supporters and delivering event experiences from concept to completion.
This role has lots of potential for growth and development. You’ll work closely with the Events Management team to expand and develop our third party events programme, steward existing supporters and engage new audiences that aim to raise the charity’s profile and reach as well as significant income.

Work with the Events Managers to create and develop stewardship communications across a range of channels

Experience of successfully delivering a variety of fundraising events including recruitment of participants and volunteers
Experience of drawing up budgets and managing income (min £350,000) and expenditure (min £85,000)
Understanding of data and insight that is needed to test, optimise and evaluate the running events portfolio
Excellent communication and written skills
Experience of project management including liaising with and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders

Summary of the role:
The Governance & Performance Manager ensures effective organisational governance, performance oversight, and alignment between strategy and delivery.
The postholder is responsible for leading the coordination of governance processes, Board and Committee cycles, organisational performance frameworks, strategic project management and executive reporting. The role ensures that organisational priorities are translated into clear plans, supported by strong metrics and KPIs, tracked effectively, and reported with accuracy, insight, and consistency.

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Delivery Manager to lead our marketing delivery function during a maternity cover period. Join the Renewal Programme as our Community Hub Activities Coordinator and help bring people aged 55+ together through guided walks, social activities and our Community Connection Café. We’re looking for a warm, organised and community-focused person who can build trusted relationships and help residents feel welcomed, connected and supported.
The Community Hub Activities Coordinator will lead the day-to-day coordination of a one-year walking, wellbeing and social connection programme for Newham residents aged 55 and over. The programme combines a weekly accessible guided walk, delivered in partnership with other external partners with a weekly Community Connection Café facilitated by the postholder.
The postholder will build trusted relationships with residents who may be isolated, inactive, recently bereaved, living with long-term health conditions or lacking confidence to join community activities. They will coordinate outreach, referrals, venues, volunteers, safeguarding, signposting and monitoring so that participants receive a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience. The role will ensure that walking is a gateway to friendship, confidence, healthier ageing and wider practical support.
