Role Description

Black Thrive are looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to join the Thriving Futures team. This role will be dedicated to support the organisational workstreams to deliver engaging programmes to Black communities both regionally and nationally.

Project and relationship management skills and experience are key in this role and requires knowledge or experience working in a projects/programme coordination environment. We’re looking for someone who has excellent administrative and stakeholder management skills, as much of this role will be leading on overseeing the delivery of the programme with external stakeholders (up to senior level), who are driving delivery both locally and strategically.

You will be supporting the Thriving Futures Partnerships and Programme Manager, to monitor and deliver the objectives of the project. This will be a combination of design, delivery, analysis, evaluation and report writing; to help us tell the story of our progress along the way.

Black Thrive uses a work systems application and Microsoft Excel to efficiently track and achieve the strategic objectives of the Thriving Futures - Scaling Systems Change programme.

• Relationship management with project leads and teams across London, Birmingham, Scotland, and Wales, encouraging strong collaboration, best practice and communication.
• Provide tailored one-to-one support in facilitating monthly face to face team and hybrid meetings to resolve challenges and co-develop practical solutions. 
• Monitor project delivery across workstreams to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Track and manage changes, risks, and issues, maintaining up-to-date logs and dashboards to support effective decision-making.

We are looking for a Foster Scheme Coordinator to coordinate Battersea’s London Foster Scheme, working in conjunction with Operations and Clinic in sourcing suitable temporary homes for those dogs in our London site requiring foster and supporting both foster carers and dogs during their time away from Battersea.

About the role

Over the last two consecutive financial years, we have raised approximately £1 million each year – primarily through trusts and foundations, corporate donors, and individual supporters. As the successful candidate, you and the team you lead will play a pivotal role in maintaining this level of fundraising success, ensuring our vital work with young people continues to flourish. This role will involve:

• Reviewing and evaluating our funder qualification processes to ensure donors align with our values and meet our ethical standards.

About the role

Our supporters are central to everything we do. Many choose to fundraise for Prostate Scotland because they, or someone close to them, has been affected by prostate cancer or disease.
As Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in supporting individuals and communities to raise vital funds. You will provide warm, practical and responsive support throughout their fundraising journey — from helping them set up online fundraising pages, to answering questions, sharing their stories and celebrating their achievements. You will help build meaningful relationships with supporters, ensuring they feel valued, listened to and inspired to continue supporting our work.

• Act as a practice lead within our Children & Young People’s Service, working with young people with complex needs.
• Drive the development and delivery of substance misuse prevention and early intervention programmes in educational settings.

• Line manage the Targeted Intervention Coordinator and oversee the Youth Ambassadors programme.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in multi-agency working and building strong partnerships.
• Knowledgeable about young people’s substance misuse, safeguarding, and harm reduction.
• Skilled in delivering education programmes and managing staff or volunteers.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). 
• You will need to work flexibly countywide across Buckinghamshire so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.

You’ll play a central role in promoting our services, supporting income generation, and amplifying the voices of our members through a range of marketing and communications activity. You’ll balance digital know-how with a collaborative approach, developing accessible, engaging content across channels including our website, social media, e- newsletters, and print materials.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications Delivery

• Engage the wider Headway East London community in developing campaigns, storytelling, and communications planning.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon.

The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis.

In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support
• Provide clinical supervision to the team
• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for our residents with mental health and complex needs
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for residents psychological care as a care coordinator within a multidisciplinary team
• Formulate and implement plans for various therapy routes and management of assessing mental health conditions based upon appropriate conceptual frameworks and evidence-based practices

About You

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to proactively encourage, take leadership and ownership for creating a psychologically informed environment. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively within the organisation and with external partners, collaborating with external stakeholders regularly in a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to utilise your own expertise and support in empowering the wider team to enhance their skills to deliver a service which is supportive, safe, and in line with best practice for the organisation and external regulatory bodies. 

• HCPC Registration is essential
• Post-graduate doctoral level training as a Registered Practitioner Psychologist including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology
• Previous experience working as a qualified clinical and/or forensic psychologist, including working with people with complex backgrounds/needs and a good understanding of the sector we run our services in
• Ability to teach, train, consult, and deliver clinical supervision
• Understanding of criminology, psychology, and behavioural patterns, and how they link to different behaviours and engagement
• Ability to understand and apply safeguarding protocols as they arise
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility in working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

It is a varied role that covers a range of support duties but there are two primary focuses of the role, which are:

1. To ensure effective office administration and support for CRCC and its services.
2. Supporting members of the public to fundraise for CRCC and support the charity’s fundraising volunteers to develop and deliver a programme of community fundraising activities and events.

To give an idea of our priorities for this role, we envisage the post holder’s time over a working week to be split as: 3 days office administration and support and 2 days fundraising support.

It is essential that the post holder has excellent office administrator skills but, whilst fundraising skills are desirable, we are able to offer training to develop the fundraising-related skills needed for the role.
