We work with artists, galleries, museums and community spaces to offer inspiring arts programmes for people in the early stages of dementia and their companions. We train facilitators from around the country to deliver effective arts-based activities for people living with dementia, and we advocate for the benefits of the arts for people affected by dementia.

What we are looking for
We're looking for a creative and organised communicator who is excited by the opportunity to help more people understand the transformative impact of creativity for people living with dementia.
The Communications Lead will work across the team and help us to: engage more effectively with existing stakeholders (partners, funders, donors, workshop participants, volunteers, artists), increase our profile and reach new audiences. This role offers scope to grow, helping us to think big, bringing in new ideas, transforming our presence, and so helping us to realise our ambitions.
Main purpose of job
To develop and deliver effective communications activity across all channels
Key responsibilities
· Proactive development and measurement of all social media channels (currently Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, to varying degrees)
· Responsible for appropriate use and development of our website, including keeping it up to date with our projects and case studies, and maximising engagement and SEO
· Supporting the fundraising team to fully realise new and existing income streams
· Supporting the operations team to deliver effective communications to participants, volunteers, artists and partners
· Creating mailouts and newsletters to various audiences (we use Mailchimp)
· Working with the team to identify and create assets and resources for use across the organisation, for example using participant stories and evaluation data
· Initiating public outreach and profile raising work, including identifying and engaging with relevant publications and events, soliciting and responding to media engagement, and cultivating high-profile ambassadors
· Supporting the rest of the organisation’s work, such as events, exhibitions, fundraising activities etc as needed

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Grants & Impact Team, overseeing grant giving and grant management processes within Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
A senior member of the Grants Team, the post holder will manage Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s grant awarding process, providing approximately £5m of grant awards to the Alder Hey NHS Foundation Trust (the ‘Trust’) per year, with ambitions for significant growth.
The Grants Manager will help develop and implement multi-year strategies to support the identification of fundraising needs and grant requirements. In doing so, the post holder will work closely with both Trust colleagues and our charity fundraising and marketing teams.

Additional Information

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.
We have a part-time role available (22.5 hours), and applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults in a relevant sector. The Transforming Peace & Security Campaigner will lead Medact’s campaigning for healthcare spaces which truly centre health and health justice, not surveillance, profiling and policing, in addition to providing ongoing strategic support to members organising against war and nuclear threat.
This role will lead on our strategic priority area of Ending State Violence. The campaigner will implement campaign strategy focused on targeted organising to build coalitions and solidarity with marginalised communities, continuing our campaign against the Prevent duty in health, and supporting our Medact Abolitionist Approaches to Health Group. They’ll also work with our established Nuclear Weapons group to promote disarmament and encourage investment in nonviolent responses to conflict. The role involves maintaining and deepening existing partnerships with external organisations, grassroots groups and institutions.

This isn’t an entry-level role but you don’t need to have had a job in an NGO before or be a professional campaigner to be right for it. You might have worked with your local community to campaign on a social justice or health issue that you care about. You’ll have a strong understanding of power and how to work with others to create pressure for change. The Head of Commercial Partnerships is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and delivering Jericho's corporate engagement and partnership strategy.
The postholder will build and maintain relationships with employers, businesses, funders and strategic partners to create employment pathways for participants, generate income for Jericho's social enterprises and unlock wider support through corporate fundraising, social value partnerships, volunteering and advocacy.
Working across multiple areas of the organisation, the role will act as a bridge between Jericho's employability, enterprise and income generation functions, ensuring partnerships deliver meaningful social impact while strengthening the organisation's long-term sustainability.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Jericho's corporate engagement strategy and become a key external ambassador for one of Birmingham's leading employment-focused charities.
We would consider 0.8 FTE for the right candidate. The successful applicant must have the Right to Work in the UK as we are unable to offer sponsorship.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of deaf people. In this role, you will design, develop and deliver high-quality, personalised support that ensures every hearing dog recipient feels valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
You will play a key role in understanding and assessing recipients' changing needs throughout their partnership, integrating Hearing Link services where appropriate to provide a holistic support experience. You will also ensure every recipient receives an exceptional service during placement and beyond, regardless of whether a successor hearing dog is identified.
Alongside delivering outstanding support, you will inspire and motivate those around you, bringing energy, positivity and a strong focus on the life-changing impact of our work to your team every day.

We are looking for an experienced Debt Caseworker to join our team and help meet the growing demand for debt and income‑maximisation advice within our service. In this role, you will guide and empower clients to understand their options, while also taking direct action on behalf of those who are particularly vulnerable. This includes negotiating with creditors to prevent escalation and protect clients from further financial harm.
You will assess each client’s situation in depth, identifying the most appropriate strategies to resolve their debt issues while exploring every opportunity to maximise income. Through practical support and casework, you will take the necessary steps to halt creditor action, prepare accurate financial statements, make repayment offers, and apply strategies to reduce, write off and manage debt effectively. Alongside this, you will provide budgeting guidance to help clients regain control of their finances and build long‑term stability. Your ability to work confidently with third parties—including local authorities, bailiffs, landlords and lenders—will be essential in preventing enforcement action and resolving arrears.

About the role:
You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. You will be undertaking all initial triage assessments and processing these on the database and allocating these to each Keyworker. The Keyworkers will provide one to one community support to women with a variety of needs simultaneously and will be co-located with partner organisations in their region. You will be expected to travel to Advance’s Head office in London for any organisational meetings and training, as and when required.

The Senior Employment Advisor is responsible for managing and supporting a team of Employment Advisors who deliver structured employment support to clients engaged in NHS Talking Therapies.
Employment Advisors typically provide 6–8 sessions of tailored employment guidance, which is fully integrated into the individual’s therapeutic journey.
This integrated model ensures that clients receive coordinated support that addresses both their mental health needs and barriers to employment, helping them progress towards sustainable work outcomes at a pace aligned with their recovery
