About the role

This is a pivotal moment to join Crisis in a technical leadership role. We are approaching the go-live of our new Supporter CRM, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, with launch scheduled for July 2026. As Supporter CRM Product Owner, you will play a central part in ensuring that go-live is a success – and then in establishing the continuous improvement model that will drive the platform forward. You will be bold in shaping the product vision, working closely with the CRM Journeys Lead and key stakeholders across the charity to bridge strategic goals with technology enablement.

Working within our Data, Digital and Technology team and reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you will own the product backlog, lead agile delivery sprints, and act as the primary technical expert and advocate for the Supporter CRM. We are collaborative by nature – you will bridge the gap between technical development and the ambitions of our supporter-facing teams, translating user needs into clear, deliverable requirements. Your work will be impactful: enabling an exceptional supporter experience is central to Crisis’ ability to grow income and engagement in pursuit of our mission to end homelessness for good.

About you

• Substantial experience of technical Product Ownership, ideally with hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications within an agile framework, leading delivery teams through sprints and releases
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – equally comfortable working with technical developers and non-technical colleagues at all levels
• Experience of driving high levels of user adoption for a new system or service, including establishing training, governance and change control processes
• Demonstrable track record of working as part of a cross-disciplinary team while being able to work on your own initiative
• A commitment to Crisis’ purpose and values, and to equality, diversity and inclusion

You may also have experience in one or more of the following: Fundraising or Engagement CRM in the charity sector; Dynamics 365 or other integrated Microsoft technologies; agile project management; change management and adoption; software development.

Skills and Responsibilities 

On-Boarding & Compliance

About the role

The Regional Communications Officer role is an exciting and varied opportunity to work with Emmaus communities across the South of the UK, helping to raise their profile and engage supporters.

You will work closely with up to four Emmaus communities to identify their communications needs and deliver a mix of activity to help them achieve their goals. As part of a wider team, you will also share ideas and build on each other’s experience to maximise PR, digital and communications opportunities.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home or from within an Emmaus community.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to this role. Regular travel to your allocated communities is essential, typically at least once a week. This will initially be Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney, Emmaus Colchester and Emmaus Suffolk, so we are looking for a candidate based in Norwich, Colchester, Ipswich or the surrounding areas. You will also attend quarterly team meetings, usually held in Birmingham, although these may occasionally take place elsewhere in the UK and may require an overnight stay.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a strong communications skillset and at least two years’ experience in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. While not essential, knowledge of homelessness and the charity sector would be an advantage.

Creativity and passion are essential. You will have a broad range of communications skills, enjoy seeing your ideas come to life and be keen to continue developing your experience within a national homelessness charity.

The Senior Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering Brightside’s fundraising activity with a core focus on grants from trusts and foundations, and major donors. We have a newly created opportunity for an Income Maximisation Manager to join our fantastic Benefits, Debt & Money Advice Service at RBL. The role will be responsible for leading the delivery of the National Income Maximisation Service, providing line management, supervision and guidance to our new team of Income Maximisation Advisers working across the UK.

- Carrying our regular quality assurance and compliance checks, including staff observations, file reviews, checking the accuracy of advice given.
- Managing the Income Maximisation team including recruitment, induction, identifying training needs, ensuring appropriate training is undertaken and that relevant policies, practices and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensuring that individual cases are allocated and supported in an integrated way that best meets the beneficiaries’ needs.
- Keeping abreast of, and implementing, changes in social welfare law relevant to benefits and broader income maximisation.

You will bring demonstrable experience of leading, managing and developing high performing Benefit or Income Maximisation teams across England and Wales and will have significant knowledge of the full range of welfare benefits available. You will have a solid understanding of statutory and discretionary support available to people from Central Government, Local Authorities, Energy companies and other advice charities and will be keen to utilise this experience to start and grow a new team in our national charity.

You will be contracted to your home address and will primarily work remotely from there, with occasional travel for regional and national staff and team meetings.
