We're looking for a Senior Communications Officer to help drive the communications behind one of the world's most ambitious urban air quality initiatives, Breathe Cities. Working at the heart of a global partnership between Bloomberg Philanthropies, Clean Air Fund and C40 Cities, you'll help tell powerful stories from cities around the world, coordinate communications across a diverse network of partners, and ensure our digital channels showcase the impact of clean air action.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised communications professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects, building strong relationships, and turning ideas into action. You'll work across city teams, agencies and partner organisations to keep communications moving at pace, while maintaining high editorial standards and a consistent global narrative. You'll be equally comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, overseeing agency delivery, planning communications activity, and translating complex information into engaging content for a range of audiences.
What we're looking for
- Communications experience gained in an NGO, philanthropy, public sector, consultancy or public-interest organisation.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to keep workstreams moving across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing digital communications, websites, social media and/or agency relationships.

Strategic Leadership
· Lead and evolve Back Up's Partnerships strategy aligned to organisational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAIN DUTIES
Project Management, Planning & Governance
- Provide Project Management support for internal projects by maintaining documentation, tasks list and work progress trackers.
- Use project management tools to input, update, and archive project information.
- Help maintain risk and issue registers on behalf of the leadership team, highlighting and escalating issues where required.

Job summary
This role is central to the Policy & Engagement Team. The postholder will support our impact and evaluation work across the organisation in line with our Theory of Change, producing quarterly reports, annual reports and briefings for the Board, Parliamentarians and grant funders. The role works alongside Youth Board to identify project ideas and support any research work affiliated with their projects. The postholder has responsibility for Whizz Kidz Community Change projects and Research panel.
The person
You will have a passion for working with young people and driving change and perceptions. You will have significant experience in designing research projects to ensure Whizz Kidz is meeting the aims and objectives of its Theory of Change and that it is listening to the voice of young wheelchair users. You can read and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and use this data to form strong arguments.
Key accountabilities
- Lead the Whizz Kidz Community Change projects ensuring fair distribution of funds and impact analysis. You will be the link to all of our projects.
- Lead the Whizz Kidz research panel ensuring opportunities to contribute to the panel are circulated and that this is used to feed into national strategy.
- Provide research and analysis as needed to support the Youth Board and Whizz Kidz wider policy work.
- Support monthly management reporting; quarterly Theory of Change reporting and Annual impact reporting with the Impact & Evaluation Manager
- Draft content for Whizz Kidz documentation (e.g campaign briefings)
- Contribute to / lead on external policy consultation responses

We are seeking a capable and motivated Shared Services Accountant to help deliver high-quality finance services across a varied client portfolio. Role Overview
You’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial tasks for a range of clients, taking accounts to trial balance, supporting the production of management accounts, and handling VAT and payroll duties. We are looking for a Senior Solicitor to join our in house legal team on a full time basis to work on a broad range of matters.The successful candidate will be required to provide legal advice across areas of law including but not limited to public law, charity law and general commercial law, including intellectual property, contracts and procurement.
ou will also advise on subsidy control, information law and litigation issues, and provide practical legal advice to help further our Strategy, It Starts with Community, in a user-friendly way, to ensures that we are complying with our statutory and regulatory framework.
The role requires an ability to get up to speed with new areas of the law as the team deals with a very wide range of legal issues. The Senior Solicitor will use their legal knowledge and experience to improve the Fund’s internal processes.
You will generally manage your own portfolio of legal files (often on important new funding initiatives and partnerships) working in a highly collaborative, collegiate and supportive team, where the sharing of legal know how and continuous improvement is highly valued.
As Senior Solicitor, you will be working in a Legal team of 14 colleagues. The role does not include any line management responsibilities but it does have matrix management responsibilities for more junior members of the team (Solicitors, paralegals and Legal officer).
Strong general commercial legal experience is essential. Experience working in an in-house or private practice environment in the UK with a varied workload and wide range of clients and customers would be ideal, as would experience of public law and advising public bodies.

The Project Manager for Online Services will oversee the pilot, implementation and ongoing management of the programme, ensuring safe, accessible and high-quality support for young people. Key Duties
- Lead the pilot and implementation of Caudwell Youth’s national online mentoring programme.
- Manage the digital platform where the online mentoring will take place, ensuring it operates effectively and provides a user-friendly service.

This strategically important role will provide global leadership for advocacy across the Open Doors ministry, helping local and regional teams to shape advocacy priorities, strengthen alignment across international teams, and ensure the experiences and voices of the most persecuted Christians continue to inform decisions at every level of our organisation.
The role also oversees Global Integrated Campaigns and plays a key role in strengthening Open Doors’ voice and influence amongst external partners, institutions, governments and decision-makers. As the global context continues to evolve, advocacy remains an essential part of our mission. This is a role for a courageous and servant-hearted leader who can bring together diverse stakeholders, develop and execute strategic priorities, and strengthen advocacy’s contribution to the mission of Open Doors worldwide.
Purpose of the Position
The Global Advocacy Director is a strategic leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and responsible for providing direction, alignment and influence for advocacy across the Open Doors organisation. Working closely with field regions, fundraising bases and international leaders, the Director ensures that advocacy priorities remain connected to the needs of persecuted Christians and contribute to the wider mission and strategy of Open Doors.

Location: The successful candidate must live in an African, European or Asian time zone. Applicants must be able to work effectively across international teams and time zones.
International Travel: The successful candidate should expect a significant amount of international travel to engage with colleagues, partners, advocacy networks and ministry stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with the seniority and international scope of the role.

Faith Requirement: As a Christian ministry, Open Doors requires the Global Advocacy Director to demonstrate a mature Christian faith and full alignment with the organisation’s Christian beliefs, values and statement of faith.
