Location:London (2 days per week in the office)

About the role:

This role will be responsible for driving income growth by securing new corporate partnerships and high-value donors. It requires strategic thinking, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term supporters of the charity's mission to improve young carers’ lives.

About the team:

The successful applicant will be a key member of the Fundraising Team. The wider fundraising team consists of a Trusts team, a regional community fundraising team and a Partnerships team who are responsible for account management of the existing corporate partners and developing higher levels of engagement.  The entire team is overseen by a Director of Fundraising and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research potential corporate partners, aligned with the charity’s values 
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects for new business opportunities.
• Initiate and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders in businesses and philanthropic organisations.
• Maintain new corporate relationships for a minimum of 12 months and then transition them across to corporate partnerships colleagues for ongoing stewardship if relevant.
• Deliver compelling pitches and proposals tailored to partner needs.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team, Operational Managers and teams to create impactful partnership packages.
• Track progress against targets and provide regular reports to senior leadership and trustee’s.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity, to advise Director of Fundraising on market trends and strategically lead on new applications.
• Prepare effective stewardship plans to engage corporate partners.

• Proven track record in securing new business or partnerships, ideally within the charity or corporate sector.
• Strong networking and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to help to shape, support and deliver marketing plans for Alder Hey Children’s Charity for a wide range of stakeholders, reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer This is a broad and varied marketing role which requires creativity, excellent communication and project management skills to help the charity plan and execute its marketing, fundraising and brand campaigns.

Main Duties/Tasks

Marketing Planning, Campaign Delivery & Performance:

• Support the Senior Marketing Officer and Marketing & Communications Manager to implement marketing plans and campaign strategies.
• Ensure campaigns across fundraising teams align with brand, audience insight and organisational priorities.
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to plan, create and implement integrated marketing campaigns across multi channels that meet brand and fundraising goals.
• Identify opportunities to grow audiences, engagement and income through innovative marketing approaches.
• Use market research and data to drive continuous improvement in marketing activity.
• Evaluate and share actionable learnings to optimise future campaigns.

Content, Channels & Brand:

• Creative and powerful copywriting skills aligned to the values of the Charity. Adapting copy to suit differing audiences and publications, and including digital, DM, print appeals, email, magazines, brochures, scripts and social media.
• Creation of powerful stewardship content in partnership with fundraising teams.
• Collaboration within the marketing team across branded social channels to drive growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with the Trust Comms team for campaign and content capture in line with Trust Policy.
• Upholding of brand positioning to always agreed deadlines.

Stakeholder Management, Delivery & Operations:

• Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials across external suppliers as required.
• Liaising and networking with a range of internal and external stakeholders including families, donors, our colleagues (including those within the Trust), suppliers (including agencies) and partner organisations.
• Assisting the Marketing & Communications Manager to work within project budgets using appropriate systems and controls.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Medair UK team as we are seeking a part-time Operations Support Officer to provide crucial support in a varied role. The post holder will be responsible for Medair UK’s financial and office administration, including maintenance of the organisation’s CRM database and some fundraising support. You will ensure the accurate processing and timely delivery of donor and financial information and acting as first point of contact for the organisation, you will be responding to supporter enquiries. You will also provide general office, and IT support to the Head of Operations.

Key Activities

      Donation Processing

• Responsible for the timely recording and processing of all incoming donations (including via our website, bank account, third party platforms and cheques) into the Medair UK CRM (Salesforce).
• Ensure all donors receive gift acknowledgements / thank you letters corresponding to each gift received.
• Maintain up-to-date records of donors, staff and other contacts in the Medair UK database.
• Process and record completed Gift Aid declarations and support in the regular reclaim of Gift Aid.

      Financial Administration

• Inputting of all financial data (income and expenditure) into Quick Books.
• Preparing and following up suppliers invoices for payment.
• Processing expenses claims.
• Managing the banking of income and supporter cheques.
• Support the Head of Operations to implement the month and year end reconciliation process for both Salesforce and Quick Books.

      Facilities & Office Management

• Act as first point of contact for the office and public enquiries, responding to incoming telephone calls and emails.
• Answer basic enquiries about Medair's work and distributing information to supporters and others as required.
• Manage and order office supplies, stationery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, administrating risk assessments, H&S and fire safety procedures.

      Information Technology

• Ensuring the maintenance of the IT system and handling minor in-house IT technical issues for staff and volunteers. 
• Liaising with the Global Support Office IT Helpdesk team to ensure the timely set up of IT for new staff and volunteers – i.e. setting up email addresses, and relevant permissions.
• Ensuring that IT permissions are current, and that these are amended as and when staff and volunteers leave.
• Assisting with continuous improvements in Medair UK’s use of IT.

​    Engagement Support

• Supporting fundraising activities with data segmentation and the production of standard and custom reports in Salesforce
• Supporting the production and automation of email newsletter and appeals via Campaign Monitor
• Setting up new Salesforce campaigns with tailored reports and dashboards to track donations.
• Producing digital surveys and web-forms as required.
• Providing support to Medair’s virtual events, including the technical administration of Zoom and pre and post event attendee administration.           

      HR Administration

• Organising and co-ordinating staff and volunteer inductions ensuring that the induction checklist is completed.
• Supporting the Head of Operations with team training and organisational learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications - DESIRABLE

• Vocational qualification in business or financial management / administration desirable

 Languages

• Excellent English (spoken and written).

The Senior Policy Officer will be line managed by a Policy Manager.

What you will be doing

As Senior Policy Officer, you will lead on or support a range of policy projects and activities to inform and influence the policy landscape in accordance with Academy priorities. This work may include leading on or supporting the following:

• Major working group studies and corresponding outputs.
• Informing and responding to Government set pieces and announcements.
• Consultations and rapid responses, and shorter position papers.
• Roundtables, workshops, and other relevant policy events.
• Correspondence and briefings for senior stakeholders.
• Working closely with Fellows and other experts to identify and analyse key policy issues, gather data and expert opinion. Construct impactful conclusions and recommendations to advise internal and external stakeholders.
• Delivering implementation and follow-up activities on policy recommendations across external audiences and stakeholders.
• Maintaining an excellent understanding of the policy landscape by monitoring developments and key policy issues, including the use of animals in research (please see the Academy’s statement on the use of animals in research).
• Scoping potential new areas of policy work, and/or identify opportunities for the Policy Team.

External engagement

• Collaborating with organisations from academia, Government, healthcare, industry and the charity sector.
• Maintaining and developing an effective network of contacts across the sector (including our Fellows) to inform and increase the impact of policy work.
• Representing the Academy at external meetings, parliamentary engagements (such as the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Life Sciences) and political events (such as party conferences).

Supporting the Academy’s wider functions

• Supporting the Academy’s briefings and parliamentary monitoring functions.
• Coordinating across a wide range of Academy functions, including its Briefings, Impact, and Events capabilities, to maximise the effectiveness of policy work.
• Working with the Communications and Engagement teams to co-develop relevant outputs and activities.
• Briefing senior stakeholders for high-level meetings and events where necessary.
• Supporting the development of core scripts on priority policy topics across the Policy team.
• Supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation team with monitoring the policy team’s impact.

Budget and line management

• Occasionally managing policy budget lines.
• Occasionally supervising policy interns and placement students.

About the Giving Directorate and Net Zero Carbon Programme

What you'll be doing

As the National Fundraising Policy and Compliance Lead you will be the strategic lead for ensuring a strong culture of fundraising compliance and best practice within the Church of England. You will work within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team, which co-ordinates the biggest national fundraising programme within the Church of England, to support them to raise significant funds for the Net Zero Carbon Programme in an ethical and compliant way. You will also work with the Giving Directorate to ensure compliance across all their activities. You will create guidance, tools and resources that dioceses and local parishes can use to ensure they are compliant with key fundraising regulations, and create and deliver the training and case studies to support them. You will proactively advise the Head of Net Zero Fundraising on emerging topics of fundraising policy, such as the use of AI in fundraising and changes to key regulations.

This is a fixed-term contract role for three years, and interviews will take place week commencing 27 April.

Dartington Service Design Lab is a national charity that harnesses experience, cutting edge evidence and design to tackle the challenges children and young people face today, securing thriving futures for tomorrow. As we move forward with our refreshed strategy, we are looking for a new Research and Design Officer to join our dynamic team.

The Research and Design Officer plays a crucial role in our work at Dartington. They work alongside experienced Leads, Senior Researchers and Designers, to support a varied portfolio of research and design projects.

Key duties of the Research and Design Officer include data collection and analysis, covering both qualitative research and design engagements (workshops, interviews, and focus groups – with young people, practitioners and system leaders) and quantitative work (surveys, synthesis of secondary and administrative data).

The Research and Design Officer also plays a key role in synthesising learning and insights, into digestible, engaging reports and outputs for a varied mix of clients and partners.

As well as strong research skills, the candidate will also bring a strong approach to co-design, facilitation and visual design.

Research and Design Officers work across multiple concurrent projects and report directly to experienced Leads (who specialise in research, evaluation, service design, youth and community engagement, and systemic change).

The role demands a highly relational approach – working with a diverse range of clients, partners and working styles - flexing approaches as required.  It also requires an ability to effectively context-switch and manage a varied workload and set of priorities. It will suit a candidate that thrives with a varied workload, is able to effectively prioritise and communicate well.

The Role

Reporting to the Chair of the Trustee Board, the Chief Officer

● Is responsible to the Trustee Board for the management and leadership of Citizens Advice Surrey Heath.

● Represents Citizens Advice Surrey Heath to funders, partners and stakeholders.

● Ensures the delivery of a high quality, impartial and confidential service, utilising both paid staff and volunteers.

● Is responsible for the continuing funding, planning and financial management of the service.

● Represents the organisation in Surrey Heath and contributes to the overall provision of strategic advice services in the borough.

In particular, the priorities for the Chief Officer in 2026 will be to

● Manage CA-SH’s external relationships, with our funders and the Surrey Heath community generally, to ensure satisfaction with the delivery of current projects.

● Build on the current income base, in terms of increased existing project budgets, new projects, and diversifying the income base.

● Explore opportunities to potentially integrate with other local Citizens Advice in Surrey to ensure long-term sustainability and strengthen our impact, in line with the new Unitary Authority structure.

The role requires working closely with the Operations Manager, who will be responsible for staff, volunteers, and, generally, the internal CA-SH operation.

Essential

1. Understanding of the voluntary sector and, in particular, knowledge of the strategic and policy environment in which the advice sector, and particularly Citizens Advice operates.
2. Proven ability to devise and implement strategic development and resource plans, particularly in the area of service development, staff development and the management of change.
3. Demonstrable track record of successful income generation and diversification, through promoting services, fundraising, and other activities.
4. Proven track record of devising funded projects, setting them up for delivery and delivering them against agreed targets.
5. Proven ability to lead, motivate and contribute to a team.
6. Demonstrable track record of financial management and budgetary control.
7. Effective communication and presentation skills in person and in writing, to include researching and interpreting complex information and producing clear verbal and written reports, both internally and externally.

YES care about young people's mental health, sexual health and wellbeing. The Outreach and Support Officer will deliver knowledgeable, high-quality, youth-centred support to young people in various settings.

You will get out into the community via outreach engagement, offering one-to-one support, events and groups.  You iwill be a key part of our Information and Guidance team, delivering wellbeing programmes and workshops for YES. 

This role is frontline and delivery-focused, supporting the development of responsive, inclusive, and professionally delivered services in outreach settings such as schools, youth clubs, social spaces and groups and will be pivotal within our small team of young people's support staff.
