Job Title: Marketing and Communications Officer

Trinity Winchester is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to join our established team, helping the fundraising team showcase our work locally and nationally while engaging and growing our supporter base.

Trinity is a Winchester-based charity which addresses the effects of homelessness and vulnerability through specialist practical and emotional support, and proactive prevention, empowering positive change.

We help people who are vulnerable to the effects of homelessness, addiction, physical and mental ill health, poverty, social isolation and domestic abuse. We offer solutions, hope, choice and control.

From humble beginnings, Trinity has grown into a respected and skilful organisation helping people to improve their lives. We provide vital practical and emotional support to over 640 people each year who are experiencing the effects of homelessness or vulnerability.

Our dedicated Women’s Service sees over 150 women each year. We support them to make positive change to their lives and in many cases break free from the damaging cycle of domestic abuse.

We aim to support individuals to change their situation and aspire towards positive fulfilling futures.

Role Purpose

The Marketing & Communications Officer is responsible for helping to develop and deliver integrated marketing and communications activity across digital, print and face-to-face channels. The role supports brand awareness, audience engagement, campaign delivery, content creation and reputation management, while ensuring communications are aligned with the organisation’s values, objectives and tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the development and delivery of marketing and communications plans that align with organisational priorities.

· Create, edit and proofread high-quality content for a range of channels, including website copy, newsletters, social media, email campaigns, press releases, presentations and printed materials.

· Manage day-to-day activity across digital platforms, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, accessible and on brand.

· Manage and grow our volunteer base.

· Assist with planning and delivering campaigns, events and promotional activity to increase awareness, engagement and participation.

· Maintain and update website content and support the effective use of content management systems and email marketing platforms.

· Monitor social media channels and other communications platforms, responding or escalating queries where appropriate.

· Manage and regularly update the fundraising database.

· Help protect and strengthen the organisation’s brand by ensuring consistency of tone, style and visual identity across all communications.

· Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers, agencies, media contacts and stakeholders to support delivery of communications activity.

· Gather case studies, stories, testimonials and other content that demonstrate impact and support audience engagement.

· Track, analyse and report on campaign and channel performance, using insights to support continuous improvement.

· Support media relations activity, including drafting press materials, maintaining media lists and identifying positive publicity opportunities.

· Represent the organisation professionally in meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with funders and partners where required.

· Ensure all marketing and communications activity complies with relevant policies, brand guidelines, copyright, data protection and accessibility requirements.

· Provide general administrative support for marketing and communications projects, including scheduling, maintaining content calendars and coordinating assets.

Person Specification

Essential

· Experience in a marketing, communications or similar role.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to create compelling content for different audiences and channels.

· Experience of using social media, websites and email marketing tools in a professional context.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an experienced and strategic policy and public affairs leader to head our devolved nations policy and public affairs function. This is a high-profile leadership role with a unique opportunity to influence policy, advocate for children and young people, and drive improvements in child health outcomes across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Policy and External Affairs and sitting on the Membership, Policy and External Affairs Divisional Management Team, you will lead the College’s policy and public affairs activity across the devolved nations. You will develop and deliver impactful advocacy strategies, build strong relationships with governments and policymakers, and ensure the College’s voice is heard on the issues that matter most to paediatricians, children and young people.

You will provide leadership to a team of Policy and Public Affairs Managers and work closely with College Officers, members, committees and colleagues across the organisation to maximise the College’s influence and impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the strategic planning and prioritisation of RCPCH policy and public affairs activities across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
• Developing and delivering influential public affairs and advocacy strategies to support the College’s policy priorities
• Providing expert advice on child health, healthcare delivery, workforce, public health and safeguarding policy across the devolved nations
• Managing and developing a team of three Policy and Public Affairs Managers

Home and Well Project

Home and Well is a partnership service supporting residents across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to return home safely after a hospital stay and maintain their wellbeing. Through a holistic, wrap-around approach, the project provides energy and water advice, income maximisation, Priority Service Register (PSR) referrals, and signposting to additional support services. Home and Well Direct enables referrals from a wide range of organisations, ensuring vulnerable clients receive timely, coordinated support to sustain independence at home.

The Role

To provide effective coordination and administrative support to the Home & Well project, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery, strong communication with staff, and accurate monitoring and reporting of performance data.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Individual Giving Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Individual Giving programme. This is a pivotal role responsible for growing sustainable income through innovative, insight-led fundraising across multiple channels.

You will take ownership of the full Individual Giving portfolio, including Regular Giving, appeals and mid-value programmes, ensuring each delivers strong performance, supporter engagement and long-term value. Working across digital, print, face-to-face and telemarketing channels, you will design and optimise supporter journeys that inspire loyalty and maximise lifetime income

As a key member of the fundraising team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Marketing, Supporter Engagement and Data & Insight to ensure all activity is integrated, compliant and supporter-focused. You will also manage external agencies and suppliers, lead on budgeting and performance reporting, and use data-driven insight to continually refine and improve campaigns.

This role plays a critical part in supporting the organisation’s financial resilience and long-term growth. You will have the opportunity to shape strategy, test new ideas and deliver impactful fundraising campaigns that directly contribute to our life-saving work.

The Role

This post is about providing much needed support for our busy Senior Management Team. You will work closely with our Senior Management Team, helping to manage priorities, supporting with information for funders and stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team’s workload. This is a new role within our service that you can ‘make your own’. The role has been created to relieve some pressure from the senior team and enable us to work more effectively and strategically.

You will provide confidential administrative support to all the team, including HR administration support.

The Role

The Marketing and Communications Officer will lead on promoting the work, services and impact of Citizens Advice Southampton. You will help ensure that local people know how to access advice, that stakeholders understand our impact, and that our voice is heard in local conversations about poverty, inequality and social justice.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will deliver clear, accessible and inclusive communications that reflect Citizens Advice values and strengthen our profile across Southampton.

The main tasks for the role include, but are not limited to: 

Marketing and Promotion

• Plan and deliver marketing activity to increase awareness of Citizens Advice Southampton services among local communities.
• Promote key services, campaigns and projects using a mix of digital and offline channels.
• Support targeted outreach to under‑represented or vulnerable groups in Southampton.

 Communications and Content

• Manage and regularly update our website content.
• Create engaging content for social media (e.g. posts, graphics, short videos).
• Draft clear and accessible written communications, including newsletters, leaflets, posters and email updates.
• Ensure all communications are consistent with Citizens Advice branding, tone of voice and accessibility standards.

Campaigns and Impact

• Support local and national Citizens Advice campaigns by communicating key messages locally.
• Help translate research, data and case studies into accessible content for the public and stakeholders.

 Stakeholder and Media Engagement

• Support relationships with local partners, community organisations and funders through effective communications.

WorkWell Community Connector (Social Prescribing Link Worker)

WorkWell Salford helps people with health conditions stay in or return to work by connecting them to local health, wellbeing, and employment support. As a Community Connector, you will work with the Wellbeing Matters team to support people referred by Primary Care and other local partners. About the role

The Communications Officer plays an important role in ensuring our audiences get the information and the support that they need across our key channels. This is a varied role where you will gain experience in several areas of communications and marketing, including social media, content creation and email marketing. You will be working alongside our Communications Lead, who will provide mentorship and support to help you excel in your communications career. Your role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Partnerships New Business Manager, to join our friendly and ambitious team, to be the lead on new business activity in the team. This role will lead on securing new high-value, multi-faceted, long-term partnerships with companies to support the RNLI’s objectives. This role will build upon recent pipeline development and new business success in the team, through leading on the continuous development and implementation of the new business strategy and plans, further driving improvements and ensuring a sustained focus on pipeline development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching and securing new business at six figure level. You'll ensure we provide excellent management and stewardship of the new business pipeline, provide regular and accurate performance updates against objectives and KPIs, and accurately forecast short, mid and long-term income. You will help to drive creative thinking in the development of proposals to take out to prospective partners.

The location of this role is flexible and can be homebased, but ideally within a commutable distance of Poole, as the successful candidate will be required to travel to Poole and Partner locations on a regular basis (sometimes at short notice) to meet with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

Customer Support Engineer

Role Summary

The main function of the Customer Support Engineer (“CSE”) role is to ensure those who choose Into Film receive the most positive support possible from the organisation. So, the CSE will play a key role in our product strategy, demonstrating our commitment to high retention of account holders.

The role exists as the front line of customer technical support for users of Into Film’s online offer, including the educator, club member, and online learning websites.

The CSE supports organisations, film clubs, educators, young people, and other account holders on their journey from recruitment to brand advocate. The CSE also plays a key role in monitoring issues and account activity, analysing these to inform new features and opportunities for the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service and manage support queries from users of our products and services, including cases from info@ and support@ email inboxes, phone calls, live chat, etc., via Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management system (“CRM”)
• Troubleshoot and where necessary escalate technical issues to the Customer Support Engineer Coordinator and/or digital team via JIRA ticketing application
• Participate in rota for answering the main Into Film phone line
• Ensure that support documentation, including user-facing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Knowledgebase (KB), and other website pages, are updated and developed to include the latest solutions for issues encountered by our users
• Assist with detailed reports on customer service issues utilising the CRM, including issue type and frequency
