About the Role  

In this role, you will support our Head of ECF Faculty and Heads of Programme to coordinate the ECF programme alongside programme managers in each region, who are responsible for the proactive and effective planning, execution and administration of all programmes, including the ECF within their regions.

This is an exciting opportunity to initially support the planning and delivery of the ECF programme across all campuses whilst we grow and adapt, and to work in close collaboration with colleagues nationally to ensure the provision is of high quality.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• To manage workflow and communications across the regional ECF teams.
• To coordinate and administer our ECF programme across regions.
• To be a key point of contact for our programme partners and participants to support them with responses around programme logistics.
• To draft and post ECF programme updates on the Learning Management System (LMS).
• To liaise with partners about visits, quality assurance and feedback.
• To gather, collate and analyse feedback from programme sessions to inform design and delivery in the future through effective communication with faculty team.
• To help prepare key events for the ECF programme, such as National Webinars, including the drafting of guidance, communications and registration.
• To support during key events across the faculty including online webinars and partner briefings.
• To support the Head of ECF and Regional Heads of Programme with other administrative efforts around the ECF programme. This might include helping to organise key meetings with our Associate Colleges, administrative tasks related to the ECF or hands-on support with marketing, recruitment and quality assurance.
• To coordinate team meetings and activities throughout the year.
• To sit on the viva assessment panels for a maximum of three days per year to support the process.
• To provide support at the annual graduation event which is on a Saturday and notice will be provided.

Working at the National Institute of Teaching

• Contract: Full Time; Temporary to 31 August 2027.
• Salary: £31,537 per annum plus benefits (plus London weighting if applicable).
• This role is advertised to cover an internal secondment. It is offered on a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent subject to future organisational needs.

Job Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist) or Practitioner Psychologist (internally known as Skylight Psychologist)

The Skylight Psychologist role is offered as a development opportunity for candidates in the first 18 months post qualification. There would be the opportunity to progress to the Senior Skylight Psychologist role when they meet the relevant clinical and leadership competencies, in line with Crisis’ Preceptorship Framework.

About the role

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking a part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in Crisis Skylight London.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

Uniting Staffordshire Against Hate provides information, advice, guidance and practical and emotional support to victims of hate crime and hate incidents to help them cope and recover from their experience and exercise their rights under the Victims Code. We also work to raise awareness and encourage reporting of hate crime across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. 

The role of a Training and Community Engagement Officer is an exciting and diverse one. You will be responsible for engaging with communities, including those most at risk of or directly impacted by hate crime, to improve awareness and understanding of hate crime, how to report it and how to access our specialist support service. You will do this in a variety of ways including by delivering awareness raising sessions and activities and attending events. You will also provide initial information, advice and guidance to victims of hate in the community and facilitate referrals into our specialist support service. You will be responsible for the development of meaningful and trusted relationships between communities and the service, so that the people who need our support know how to and are confident to access it. You will also be responsible for delivering our awareness raising training to professionals and communities.

Purpose of the role

To deliver the Day One Casework bedside model to patients, or those closest to them, impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences, such as disability or death, within James Cook University Hospital, providing support on some of the wards (such as rehabilitation), on-site clinics and other settings (e.g. rehabilitation centres). 

Have a visible physical presence within the Trust, becoming embedded into clinical teams focussing on major trauma pathways, facilitating outpatient and in-person legal clinics.

Key Responsibilites

The post holder’s primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

• Work closely, and in partnership, with NHS clinical staff and relevant community and voluntary sector organisations, to address the needs of patients, and those closest to them, affected by serious and life-changing injury. 

• Operate a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, putting support in place including signposting, making referrals and direct support. 

• Provide consistency in assessment of all patients and their loved ones, irrespective of injury cause, age, status, giving access to the earliest possible specialist legal advice which supports rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery. 

• Maintain detailed case records, including accurate records of activity and intervention, using Day One’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, capturing and storing data in line with Day One policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. 

• Contributing towards report writing through the writing case studies and narrative to support data collection. 

• Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports. 

• Deliver awareness raising presentations to clinical colleagues and departments. 

• Organise and facilitate outpatient and in person legal clinic drop-in sessions. 

• Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support. 

• Work closely with local authority, statutory and voluntary organisations to provide patient and family support and advocacy. 

• Help establish other support mechanisms once a person is no longer within the hospital setting, supporting the patient discharge process in conjunction with leadership from NHS staff. 

• Identify and support the recruitment and supervision of Day One volunteers, where appropriate. 

• Work closely in partnership with our Peer Support Service, focussed on promoting awareness and uptake within the region. 

• Work closely with the wider team on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services, ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies are followed. 

• Work closely with our Fundraising and Communications team, supporting national activity, as well as regional initiatives to raise awareness and fundraise. 

• Be prepared to travel across the region and, on occasion, to other sites and national meetings as required. 

• Willingness to undertake continuous development and training for the role, including mandatory Day One and NHS Trust specific training. 

• Participate in external clinical supervision and monthly caseworker reflective practice to sessions to effectively explore and uphold professional boundaries within a safe, structure and supportive environment.

To work closely with those impacted by serious and life-changing injury, taking referrals and carrying out initial assessments of need, expertly navigating, signposting and putting services in place in the immediate aftermath of major trauma, including talking about and facilitating timely access to legal support to aid rehabilitation.

To establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders to promote Day One and address the needs of those affected by serious and life-changing injury. 

To work as part of the wider Day One Service’s team and organisation, taking responsibility for own record keeping and data collection in line with regulatory requirements.
