What you will do in the role:

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
• Create compelling copy for the website, email campaigns, social media and other digital marketing materials.
• Manage the Society’s website, including developing, updating and monitoring content to ensure SEO/GEO maximisation and best practice.
• Plan, develop and oversee the production and repurposing of digital content including videos, podcasts and live streaming events, creating promotional, informational and thought leadership content.
• Oversee the design and production of printed material, branded assets and promotional items ensuring consistent implementation of the brand.
• Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
• Build strong, productive, collaborative working relationships internally and externally to support the delivery of the digital marketing strategy.

Essential skills and experience you will need to demonstrate:

• Degree or relevant marketing qualification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
• Experience of email marketing, social media (including advertising) and content marketing.
• Digital content design skills with experience in creating and repurposing digital content through applications such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Audition (or other equivalent.)
• Strong written communication. 

Desirable skills and experience:

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills: self-sufficient in prioritising, organising workload and planning ahead.

About this job

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. With a key focus on: effective and efficient operations; collaboration; and continuous improvement in our Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.

To achieve this ambition, we’ve developed a new technology infrastructure which we are calling “Sage”.  We’re implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as our new CRM system and suite of data tools – Microsoft Dynamics).

We will be taking a structured and phased approach to transitioning and embedding our new team structures, infrastructure and ways of working as part of Phase 2 of this Project.

Our IT Infrastructure team cover the following areas:

• Fully responsible for managing the technology stacks
• Ensuring the underlying systems and data are secure and highly protected from malicious actors
• Ensuring the systems are available
• Managing 3rd party suppliers who assist us in supporting, developing and securing the systems
• Manage the technical and security risk registers and, with a risk based approach, mitigate risks to the best of our ability
• Embed principles of best value and money saving into all technology decisions

We’ve made a significant investment in our Microsoft suite and have transitioned services to Azure. We’re also building a cloud infrastructure to support the Organisation’s mission critical data use improvement project.

Our Infrastructure Systems Manager plays a crucial role in the development, support and maintenance of these systems, implementing the tools and technology we need as well as driving the reduction of IT costs where possible.

This role is responsible for:

• Maintenance of technical infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies
• Automated process creation to ensure systems are monitored and managed
• Migration of remaining on premise systems to Microsoft cloud based solutions
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary
• Ensuring systems are highly accessible and available
• Advice to the Organisation on best practice on technology

For this role we’re looking for:

• Broad expert technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure based on both cloud and on premise Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
• Knowledge of Azure services, PowerApps, DataVerse
• Knowledge of sound backup and security protocols
• Experience of managing external stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers
• Service Management experience

The Programme Operations team sits within WaterAid UK’s International Programmes Department (IPD), operating in 17 countries in Africa and Asia. The team is a diverse and motivated group of 14+ people made up of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting (PMER), project design and management, and programme systems specialists. They support global operational excellence, PMER, risk management, donor compliance and performance assurance across WaterAid UK’s country and regional programmes. Working in partnership with regional and country leadership teams, the function provides technical oversight, systems development and operational support to strengthen programme delivery and organisational accountability.

About the Role

The Head of Programme Operations leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of WaterAid’s international programme operations framework. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across programme operations, business management, systems, risk and compliance.

Key responsibilities include overseeing IPD business management processes, supporting financial planning and performance reporting, acting as a delegated focal point for operational risk, and providing senior troubleshooting support on complex operational and management challenges.

The role works in close partnership with Programme Funding to ensure operational readiness for new donor opportunities and effective grant start-up and close-out. It also leads operational assurance processes, strengthens compliance with donor and organisational requirements, and supports capacity strengthening across regional and country teams.

Job description

We are looking for an Intercultural Engagement Manager (Freedom of Speech) to to manage our student-led external speaker events policy and processes, which are key to enabling the Union to balance our responsibility to enable and protect freedom of speech within the law with our fundamental charitable purpose to deliver for the educational benefit of our community and society. 

The role holder will manage the external speakers’ approval process, including assessing the risk rating and the risk mitigation steps required for events. These are essential processes that enable the Union to facilitate student-led events, which broaden the scope of discussion and debate and contribute to the academic and non-academic development of our members, whilst ensuring the safety of those participating. 

The post holder will also work with the Head of Intercultural Engagement to increase the number and variety of skills development opportunities for students, catering to the diverse needs of our members. They will be responsible for expanding the reach and impact of the Impartial Chairs programme, our skills development programme designed to help students tackle contentious issues, develop a nuanced understanding of power dynamics and a toolkit of techniques to enable them to navigate challenging conversations with individuals with different views.

We’re seeking a Research Funding Manager to join our fantastic research team on a 12-month contract to cover for our Research Funding Manager who will be going on maternity leave. The ideal start date for this role will be between 6-13th April 2026 to ensure a handover with our Research Funding Manager.

• Leading on the development, delivery and oversight of Pancreatic Cancer UK’s research funding schemes including our Project Grants, Fellowships and Research Innovation Fund.

About The Role

Home-Start UK is looking for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join the Trusts and Philanthropy Home-Start UK team. A highly motivated and results-focused fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in raising funds for our work with parents and children across the UK.

This role is perfect for someone looking take their next step in trust and grant fundraising. Home-Start UK has a wide portfolio of grant funders, who support our work with grants and donations of around £2m each year. This income funds brilliant projects right across the Home-Start movement, from groups for army families, to volunteer perinatal mental health training, to large-scale initiatives to increase volunteer numbers. Our Trusts and Philanthropy team is central to the delivery and development of great support for families, and for ensuring Home-Start UK has the capacity it needs to deliver high quality services and support to our network. No two days here are the same, and we work closely with colleagues right across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who is organised and detailed-oriented, with a love of writing and who can build strong relationships with funders and colleagues. As the Trusts and Foundations Manager you will manage key funder relationships, submit compelling applications, develop end-of-grant reports and gather inspiring real-life stories from our network of Home-Start charities.

You will be part of the Trusts & Philanthropy team and be managed by our Head of Trusts and Foundations who is keen to support your development in this role.
