Role Purpose

Action Earth offers grants to help urban communities to respond to our nature and climate crises. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, these nature grants support volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in practical outdoor activities in Scotland’s cities, towns and villages.

We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and organised Engagement Manager to join our Action Earh team in a mainly administrative role. The right candidate would be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrate an understanding and total commitment to our organisational values. You will be joining an existing team of one part time Engagement Manager and a long-term volunteer who supports the project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Administration tasks including maintaining effective and accessible records using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, MailChimp and a CRM.

· Ensure monitoring, impact and evaluation information is collected

· To ensure that Action Earth meets it’s agreed targets, reporting format and schedule.

· Updating social media channels.

· Help create newsletters and other promotional materials

· Supporting successful applicants and monitoring project journeys.

· Supporting with quarterly and yearly reporting,

· Supporting with raising awareness of Action Earth, specifically targeting low SIMD areas across Scotland. 

· Attend any fairs or promotional events

Skills

• Excellent IT skills including the use of Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, Excel, Google Docs and Forms, MailChimp and design software such as Canva.

Other

This is home based however some travel across Scotland to visit projects and attend events may be required. The postholder will require good internet access to enable remote working, and a suitable home office space. I.T. equipment and infrastructure will be supplied.

Our Facilities team works hard to ensure that every guest visiting Woodrow has a safe and memorable visit. You will be working alongside the wider team to maintain all buildings, including our Grade II listed Manor House and Leisure Centre, and the outside grounds and activity areas, to ensure the site is welcoming, tidy and safe for all. You will assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring we remain compliant with relevant Health & Safety legislation; and will be involved in various duties that contribute to the wider success of the Centre and London Youth. 

What you will be doing 

The Facilities Assistant provides logistical and maintenance support for the Woodrow estate and holds the following core responsibilities. This is not intended as an exhaustive list, and the job may change over time to reflect the changing needs of our centre, as well as the personal development needs of the post holder. 

Grounds upkeep: 

• General upkeep of the 26-acre estate grounds e.g. pruning, mowing, planting, tidying gardens. 
• Keeping grounds, paths and hard surfaces safe and free of ice, snow, leaves, weeds, etc. 
• Maintaining the 3G astro pitch, cycle circuit and outdoor activity areas.

Building maintenance: 

• Undertake day-to-day minor repairs, e.g. patching, painting, leaky taps, hinges, caulking, etc. 
• Undertake cyclical / seasonal jobs e.g. clearing gutters, drains, drain gratings, etc. 
• Support with biomass boiler maintenance and receive woodchip deliveries. 
• Support with basic utilities issues as they arise, e.g. heating, plumbing, electrical, etc. 

Health and safety: 

• Undertake routine safety/compliance checks of all facilities including, among other things, legionella temperature aduits, emergency equipment inspections and tests, etc. 
• Support the FM with risk assessments and work procedures relevant to the role. 
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out using systems in place for auditing. 

General duties: 

• Basic joinery, carpentry and build projects done in house, under direction of the FM. 
• Supervise outside contractors to ensure all jobs are carried out to agreed standards. 
• Supervise corporate volunteer groups who support us with gardening or build projects. 
• Support with setup and occasional on-the-day attendance at various events. 
• Undertake other duties as reasonably requested by London Youth's management that ensure the ongoing success of the charity and delivery of excellent customer experiences. 

What you bring to the role 

Experience, Knowledge & Skills 

We do not expect candidates to have expertise in all areas, but at a minimum experience of minor buildings repairs and maintenance and groundskeeping work is essential to this role. Training will be provided to address some gaps where necessary and relevant. 

• Experience with grounds maintenance including tree and lawn care, gardening, etc. 
• Experience of maintenance in heating, plumbing, electrical systems. 
• Demonstrable good practical DIY skills, including decorating, joinery, carpentry, repairs, etc. 
• Experience using power and maintenance tools, including small tractor with mower, jigsaws, strimmers, etc. 
• Demonstrable understanding of Health & Safety regulations relevant to this type of role; the importance of compliance, evidencing and contributing to this. 
• Hold a good level of fitness and able to work outside in variable weather conditions. 
• Experience of conducting regular compliance checks, recording and reporting on them. 
• Able to use digital systems for record keeping, including Microsoft Office and various apps. 
• A current driving licence (tractor experience is also desirable).

Qualifications in the use of a chainsaw, power tools, tractor driving, pool plant are desirable.

Your role will be to help CALM connect with content creators, the gaming sector, and their communities, working together to raise life-saving cash and build a culture of suicide preventers.

Your main mission out of the gate? Joining our project team to deliver the fifth year of CALM’s epic partnership with Jingle Jam - one of the world’s biggest and best gaming-led charity events. We need someone to deliver outstanding stewardship, enable unforgettable supporter journeys, and cook up the kind of ‘Wow!’ moments that rally online communities to life-saving action.

You'll be right in the thick of our Jingle Jam 2026 delivery, while also spending some of your time supporting other creators and gaming-led fundraising. Your profile

• Fundraising Experience: You have proven experience of working in fundraising for charity, including how to chat to supporters, and how to craft and deliver outstanding supporter journeys

• Gaming & Creator Understanding: You have a proven interest in and/or knowledge of content creators and/or the gaming world. Bonus points if you’ve used platforms like Discord, Tiltify, and Twitch

• Relationship-building: You can chat authentically to digital-first stakeholders, community members, and internal teams alike

• Organised & On It: You’ll need to be able to jump in, juggle deadlines, and keep your project work tracking smoothly

The British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for an experienced Complaints and Compliance Coordinator to join the complaints department to provide efficient and professional administration of the complaints process, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely assessment, and handling of cases in line with BABCP procedures, and effective coordination and support for panels to enable fair and well-informed decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

Some of the duties and responsibilities of the role are:

· To keep accurate documentation when logging all complaints, ensuring accurate records for all correspondence

· To set up case files and ensure all correspondence is in a central location for each complaint

· To ensure that all formal complaints are managed in accordance with the BABCP Complaints Procedures

· To ensure that all complaints are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and investigated as directed

· To undertake the initial assessment of complaints on receipt, including reviewing whether complaints meet the initial threshold requirements set out in the BABCP Complaints and Disciplinary Procedures and acknowledging them within specified timeframes

· To identify complaints that are out of scope, vexatious, or otherwise unsuitable for progression, and prepare reasoned recommendations for closure or non-progression

· To support with scheduling the meeting and preparing case files for the panel meetings

· To set up meetings for the purpose of hearing complaints in liaison with all relevant parties

· To support panellists (across the various complaints panels) to ensure that they have all the necessary information to deliver their role effectively

· To gather supporting documentation and data for the purpose of meetings and decision making

· To monitor the Complaints inbox, action and refer as required, exercising sound professional judgement in prioritising, responding to an escalating communication

· To ensure that at every stage of the complaints procedure service users and members receive timely updates regarding the progress of their respective complaints

 

What we’re looking for

· Experience of working in a similar role and within a regulated environment where standards are set and enforced

· Experience of assessing, analysing or triaging complains, enquiries or referrals, including applying procedural or threshold criteria

· Proven administrative experience and confidence working with case management systems or similar databases

· Demonstrable skills in identifying risk, safeguarding concerns and matters requiring escalation

· Ability to exercise sound professional judgment within a defined framework and justify rationale for decisions made, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills

In this role, you will support our Head of ECF Faculty and Heads of Programme to coordinate the ECF programme alongside programme managers in each region, who are responsible for the proactive and effective planning, execution and administration of all programmes, including the ECF within their regions.

Working at the National Institute of Teaching

• Contract: Full Time; Temporary to 31 August 2027.

This role is intended to facilitate and coordinate involvement in FoCUS by promoting the network and encouraging people who use the Trust’s services and carers to join and participate in user involvement activities, and raise themes heard from member experiences to the Trust for discussion.

Main Responsibilities

Promotion of FoCUS

· Encourage and enable people with experience of mental health services and carers to join FoCUS and to influence SABP’s services.

· Increase awareness of the benefits of user involvement and representation in building people’s confidence, sense of worth and self-esteem and in helping people to achieve greater social inclusion.

· Promote FoCUS to people who use SABP’s services and carers, across Surrey and Northeast Hampshire. Using a variety of communication and engagement methods including attending relevant outreach and community events with an exhibition stand or promotional materials.

· Increase the number of service users and carers joining as FoCUS members.

· Develop and maintain personal contacts within SABP’s services in Surrey and Northeast Hampshire to promote FoCUS to their clients, and encourage key staff to attend Community Group meetings.

· Liaise with other services including Community Mental Health Recovery Services, Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and other public services and voluntary sector providers to promote FoCUS and encourage them to promote FoCUS membership to their clients.

Management of the Network

· Contact new FoCUS members to ensure their support and access needs are met and to encourage them to attend their local Community Group meetings.

· Work with LF Solutions to maintain and manage network enquiries, new members, meeting planning and delivery of the activities of the forum.

· Act as main contact for service users, carers and professionals for the FoCUS network. Manage inbox and all enquiries.

· Chair the meetings of the forum to ensure the smooth running of meetings and enable everyone to contribute in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

· Encourage members to attend FoCUS meetings and drop in’s to share recent service experiences.

· Produce a quarterly mental health Newsletter to promote outcomes achieved, manage the social media accounts for FoCUS.

Reporting

· Maintain accurate records. Keeping confidential member information up to date, undertaking data cleanses, recording meeting attendance and topics of discussion. Track activity and outcomes data for reporting purposes.

· Provide a quarterly report on activities and membership to SABP.

Development of volunteer FoCUS Representatives

· Encourage FoCUS members to put themselves forward to become a volunteer FoCUS Representative, explaining the nature and commitment of the role.

· Work with FoCUS Representatives on plans for engagement in their Areas and to agree their individual level of involvement in promoting FoCUS. Help them prepare their respective contributions to their Community Group meetings.

· Organise and attend a quarterly meeting of the FoCUS Representatives to prepare contributions to FoCUS Committee meetings, and provide support as required.

· Identify any training needs of FoCUS members and Representatives, to empower them to fulfil their potential and build personal skills and confidence to have their say.

General Duties

· Encourage existing and new FoCUS members to also join Surrey Coalition of Disabled People and the Independent Mental Health Network, offering opportunities for involvement in other issues affecting their lives.

· At all times, to work within Surrey Coalition’s policies. Including equal opportunities and health and safety, safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.

We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in Northamptonshire working 28hours per week.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
- Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.

Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Support Worker to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in Kingston.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

This role is responsible for delivering person-centred support that promotes wellbeing, independence, and tenancy sustainment for service users with diverse and often complex needs. You will assess referrals, co-produce and review SMART support and risk management plans, and work in partnership with external agencies to ensure access to health, education, employment, and community resources.  

The role involves supporting independent living skills, financial stability, and recovery while preventing relapse or hospitalisation. You will maintain accurate records, uphold organisational policies, and contribute to service monitoring and development. Acting as a positive representative of Hestia, you will build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and key  stakeholders.

You will bring experience supporting individuals with a range of needs, aspirations, and associated risks, alongside a proven ability to deliver high-quality, person-centred support services. You will have experience using computer-based systems to maintain accurate records and a good understanding of welfare benefits, housing options, and legislation relevant to statutory duties. Knowledge of health and safety within community settings and the ability to undertake effective key working, support planning, and risk assessments to promote independence are essential.

You will have a sound understanding of mental health, substance misuse, and the issues affecting the client group, with the ability to work collaboratively with external professionals to develop and coordinate tailored support packages. Strong safeguarding knowledge, a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. You will be proactive, organised, and committed to helping service users achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
