Villagers Connect Project – a great opportunity to join our team at Action in rural Sussex
Villagers Connect is a community development project which is working to sustain a strong and vibrant community in the villages of Colgate, Faygate and Rusper. It aims to build connections and relationships which increase confidence, independence and empowerment, particularly for the over 65’s.
We are seeking a part-time community development worker to work as part of a small team that is active in this rural location in the Horsham district. This role involves a good deal of community-based activity, engaging with older people and the wider community. This does therefore require someone who is understanding of older people and their interests, abilities and needs.
We champion an asset based approach to community development, which is about building on existing strengths and supporting local people to flourish; undertaking community led projects that create community cohesion and have lasting impact.

We're looking for an organised and confident professional to join RNIB's Supporter Experience team. This is a varied role where you'll support our fundraising activity and help make sure our supporters have a great experience every time they engage with us.

We are looking for two compassionate and motivated practitioners to join our team, delivering Guided Self Help, psychoeducational support, and social prescribing within GP surgeries.
This role focuses on early intervention, supporting people to better understand and manage their mental health, while connecting them with appropriate services and community support.
You will work with individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression, offering structured, practical support that can make a meaningful difference to their everyday lives.
You will also contribute to the delivery of psychoeducational courses, support behaviour change, and help people build confidence and resilience.
About you
You will have experience supporting people with their mental health, ideally using structured approaches such as Guided Self Help or similar interventions.
You will be confident:
An understanding of CBT-informed approaches is important, along with the ability (or willingness to learn) to use outcome measures such as Recovery Star, CORE-OM, and CORE-10.
You will also be confident in connecting people with wider support, including community services and specialist agencies.

The role
Young Scot is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial and delivery-focused leader to help shape and drive a step-change in how we generate income and build partnerships.
This is a pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation with the recent appointment of a new CEO, as well launching a new organisational strategic vision. As we evolve our operating model and ambitions, you will lead the development of a more diverse, sustainable and innovative income portfolio - ensuring we can continue to deliver meaningful impact for young people aged 11–26 across Scotland.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Co-Ordinate an individual package of target hardening for clients using Stop Domestic Abuse services which is informed by a full risk assessment, the type and condition of the property and the needs and circumstances of the individual household.
Working collaboratively with existing target hardening schemes within the city including Southampton City Council’s Dove scheme and similar offers from other social landlords and The Blue Lamp Trust.
Participating and contributing in awareness-raising campaigns of domestic abuse issues locally in liaison with local multi agency partnerships, and to participate in training events.
