Cure Parkinson’s is looking for an experienced events professional to join our Research Team and take charge of our programme of research workshops and conferences, both for the scientific community and for lay/patient supporters of the charity. As our Scientific Programmes Manager you will have a degree in life sciences, with experience in neuroscience an advantage. You will have significant experience in planning, co-ordinating and delivering scientific programmes events, meetings and conferences (in-person, hybrid and virtual). You will be adept at liaising with and growing a research community and be skilled at speaking to and writing for both lay and scientific audiences.

You’ll be responsible for managing and improving the day-to-day membership experience; driving retention via engaging campaigns and improving processes to ensure they are all member-focussed. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and manage our relationships with several agencies and suppliers, ensuring a high-performing, insight-led product that delivers against ambitious income targets.

In this role you will influence across the organisation, working closely alongside our Retention Manager, who looks after our regular giving, gaming and appeals programmes, to ensure Individual Giving plays a leading role in delivering organisational income growth.

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity within our newly established advocacy function to support the delivery of Working Animals International’s global advocacy strategy as part of a small, dedicated team.

About the role

This role plays an instrumental part in making strong trusted relationships with people affected by dementia, families and carers within communities and diverse groups to support them to attend workshops and focus groups or community networks, Alzheimer's Society have a commitment to working with people with lived experience. This ensures that we create and adapt our services to be meaningful and reflect the needs of our service users. The successful individual will be working with the support of the team to ensure that individuals, local communities and health services have access to vital information about dementia support, ensuring that lived experience remains a real focus in local communities.

The Living Wage Places scheme is pioneering a collaborative, place-based approach to tackling in-work poverty. Main Responsibilities

The Programme Manager for Living Wage Places plays a central role in delivering and growing a pioneering, place-based approach to tackling in-work poverty. The Policy and Public Affairs team sits within CAF’s Brand and Marketing division and you will work closely with colleagues in our Media and Communications, International, and Research teams in this role. Together, these teams, and individuals across CAF, work to further our mission to accelerate progress in society towards a fair and sustainable future for all.

You’ll help make sure our Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud tools are well-maintained, accurate and easy for teams to use, so that they can run better campaigns and make confident, data-led decisions.

Responsibilities

CRM

• Championing our team goal of maintaining a secure, clean, accurate and up-to-date database by data cleansing, encouraging best practice and understanding around the Salesforce org, to allow for data-driven decisions in the broader team. 
• Contributing to and developing written guidelines, retrieving and preparing data for upload through Data Loader, using Excel tools and functions to manipulate data (especially Vlookup, but also conditional highlighting, filters, formatting etc.). 
• Supporting ~60 internal users with day-to-day bespoke services including reporting, creating and editing list views, maintaining page layouts and best practices, all managed through cases and assigned to you by team needs. 
• Actively participating in projects, including owning tasks, critical thinking and inputting into project conversations, and liaising with stakeholders to suggest solutions. 
• Run training sessions for staff, from Salesforce basics to more advances and bespoke functionality. Frequently improve and monitor training materials to increase efficiency and adoption. 
• Using Form Assembly to create and manage forms, ensuring accurate data collection and entry into Salesforce and independently handling error messages coming in as a part of a rota (after training).
• Using Jira to proactively create and track work
• Work closely with Third Party support providers to progress work. This could be Partner consultancies, Salesforce Support, or other Products in use within the Org. 
• Working within the Salesforce NPSP data model, ensuring accurate management of constituents, relationships, and donations.

Marketing Cloud 

• This role will support our use of Marketing Cloud Engagement, alongside the CRM team and Partner organisations.  This will include:
• Supporting the use and development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including managing data extensions, contact segmentation, and audience creation to support targeted campaigns.
• Ensuring data quality and compliance within Marketing Cloud by maintaining accurate subscriber data, managing preferences, and supporting GDPR best practices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into technical builds, including personalisation, dynamic content, and automation.
• Monitoring campaign performance through reports and analytics, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Supporting integration and data flow between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, troubleshooting issues and ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Contributing to documentation and best practice guidelines for Marketing Cloud usage, including campaign processes, naming conventions, and data management standards.
• Assisting with user support and training related to Marketing Cloud functionality, helping team members adopt tools and improve campaign execution.
