The Community Engagement Officer will play a key role in helping Symphony Studios become a place that young people, families, schools and local partners know, trust and use.

This is a practical, people-facing role for someone who is brilliant at building relationships, opening conversations and helping people feel that Symphony is for them. You will help connect young people to our programmes, strengthen relationships across Tulse Hill, Brixton, Norwood and wider Lambeth, and make sure the Studios are not just a building, but a place of welcome, access, creativity and opportunity.

Too many young people grow up full of potential but without the spaces, support or confidence to grow into it. Symphony exists to change that. Through Academics, Arts and Advocacy, we create platforms where young people can learn, make music, develop their voice, build confidence and imagine a fuller future.

This role will help us move that mission from intention into everyday connection. You will be a bridge between Symphony and the people we exist to serve — young people, parents, carers, schools, youth services, local organisations, creatives, volunteers and partners. You will help us listen well, communicate clearly, build trust locally, and make sure the right people know what is happening at Symphony Studios and how to get involved.

As Symphony grows, this role will also support the foundations for wider moments such as showcases, community events and TRIBE Festival of Hope. It is a chance to help build something rooted, generous and ambitious from the ground up.

About the Service and the Role

The Work Well program supports people who are struggling to maintain employment or have recently lost their employment due to health challenges.

Work Well Coaches may request the allocation of a personal support budget, this post holder will ensure that individual budgets and the fund as a whole are managed within the parameters of the project.

Working across the Work Well Team, other stakeholders and the CPSL Mind Finance Team, the post holder will monitor spending against personal support budgets, including matching of invoices or receipts to individual spends. They will monitor the total allocation of personal budgets and prepare monthly invoices to the program funders, alongside additional administration, research of and procurement of services and reporting across the county.

A well-established housing provider in the North West is seeking an interim Head of Finance Business Partnering for an inital 6-month period with option of temp to permanent for the right candidate. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining team management, consolidation of management accounts, and strengthening of business partnering across the organisation. • Lead and manage the Finance Business Partnering team, providing direction, oversight, and support across key service areas
• Oversee and consolidate monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reporting to the Finance Director and senior stakeholders

• Support property-related finance activities as required (e.g. repairs, maintenance, capital spend)

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with proven experience operating at a senior finance level, ideally from a housing association background
• Strong understanding of management accounting, including consolidation, reporting, and performance analysis
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing finance teams, ideally within a business partnering model
• Experience within property or housing finance (e.g. repairs, maintenance, capital programmes) is highly desirable
• Strong systems expertise, with experience improving and automating finance processes

About the Role

Are you an experienced A level tutor? Can you support under-resourced young people to reach their full academic potential?

We are looking for passionate and qualified A level tutors to deliver high quality group tuition to students. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced tutors with a love of learning to help bright students overcome barriers to academic achievement. Tutorials are delivered online to groups of up to 4 students via our bespoke online learning platform.

Tutorials generally take place between the hours of 3pm and 8pm on weekday evenings, with flexibility around the schedules of our tutors and students.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead weekly hour-long tutorials with your tutor group(s), via the online learning platform
• Responsively plan and deliver stimulating, high quality tuition in line with the Quality Assurance Framework
• Effectively monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback when requested
• Complete weekly attendance forms, supply monthly invoices, and complete other administrative duties as required
• Participate in observation and feedback process, taking advantage of continuous professional development opportunities
• Follow safeguarding policies, supporting the wellbeing of your students at all times
