We are looking for someone who has a real passion about our mission and with proven ability in communicating sensitively with children, young people and their families.  You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in the use of IT.  You will need to be available for occasional evening and weekend work.

You will have experience working with vulnerable children and young people and will have a strong grasp of the realities of being a young carer in an inner city London borough.

The Digital Inclusion Worker will be responsible for providing targeted one-to-one digital support and delivering workshops to both disabled and non-disabled residents of Enfield, helping them to improve their digital skills. This will be achieved through the delivery of tailored training and learning programmes designed to promote digital inclusion. The Digital Inclusion Worker will also involve residents in the co-design of the project, network with community groups and partner organisations, support the recruitment of volunteers, troubleshoot technical challenges faced by residents, and assist ECP’s Project Manager in producing key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress reports.

The Digital Inclusion Worker will have extensive Digital Inclusion knowledge to:

• Manage the Enfield Digital Champions (Volunteers) project ensuring adherence to compliance, health and safety matters, and quality assurance.
• Support the recruitment of Digital Champion volunteers to sustain and enhance a network of 10 digital champions per year delivering support and skills training in Enfield.
• Provide training and development opportunities to volunteers to sustain interest and enhance skills.
• Manage the programme of digital skills workshops and work with ECP Project Manager to on-board new locations for groups/sessions.
• Host Bi-monthly network sessions for all champions and provide appropriate related 1:1 support, as required.
• Create bespoke workshop material based on resident top learning priorities.
• Provide digital skills training to Enfield residents to allow them to confidently access the internet to improve social, economic and health opportunities.
• Support the recruitment of volunteers (with help from other partners orgs) from the Enfield community to build intergenerational learning and broaden the project's scope.

Key Responsibilities

Enfield Digital Support:

• Ensure digital needs of residents are met by designing and planning appropriate digital inclusion resources.
• Deliver bespoke digital inclusion workshops to Enfield residents to allow them to become digitally included.
• Supervise digital skills workshops/clinics hosted by Partners that you identify as well as ‘new starter’ volunteer sessions.
• Represent Digital Champions at key digital events / network meetings (e.g., Digital Inclusion Forum) Organise and attend in-person stall to promote digital inclusion services at agreed Enfield Community Events.

Coordination of promotional in-person events/activities:

• Organise and attend promotional events (space, stalls, activities, materials…etc)
• Organise branded promotional materials alongside ECP’s Community Hub team as well as welcome pack/materials for volunteers.
• Prepare article/material for ‘Get Online’ Week and other digital inclusion events.
• Prepare case studies that will demonstrate impact and support drafting of promotional materials.
• Engage with Digital Champions and residents to provide quality assurance/feedback and case studies.

Reporting on the impact of the Digital Advice Network Enfield (DANE).

• Work with the ECP Community Officer and Project Manager to develop mechanisms for identifying and tracking benefits realisation.
• Gather data on DANE Digital Champions and help to complete reports/analysis of impacts alongside ECP’s Project Manager and Data Administrator.
• Provide updates to ECP Project Manager.
• Co-Produce quarterly reviews, reports and KPIs.
• Carry out satisfaction surveys to monitor the project.
• Monitor the equipment required to deliver the project.

Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team

The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by

building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and

individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the

persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the

organisation’s outreach.

Main duties and responsibilities

The Senior Media Officer is an important role in the media team. You will have responsibility for the development and implementation of a whole range of proactive media campaigns in support of our organisational strategy, and you’ll actively contribute to the successful running of our busy reactive press office. You will also deputise for the Media Manager as necessary.

As a Senior Media Officer, you will play a key part in the day to day running of a busy press office, and an active role in developing media campaigns and materials that meet the strategic needs of the whole organisation. Whether you are promoting our fantastic frontline services, collaborating with partners and income generating teams as part of our Winter Appeal, or leading the media strand of a political campaign, you will work in a truly integrated way with colleagues from across Shelter. Your enthusiasm, expertise, and collaborative approach to work will help to upskill other teams at Shelter to better understand and utilise the media to meet our shared goals.   

Creative and results driven, you will have extensive knowledge of media tactics and techniques (traditional, digital, video, photography, podcasts etc), and your communication skills will be second to none. You will be able to translate complex research and policy into pithy soundbites and key messages suitable for public audiences. Given the news agenda rarely waits for anyone, you will be used to thinking on your feet and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

You will be good at managing your own time and projects, but you will also have what it takes to support, enable and motivate others in the media team and across the organisation. A keen eye for risks and opportunities, and a strong attention to detail will help to ensure you and your colleagues deliver to a high standard. Finally, while prior knowledge of housing and homelessness is not a requirement, you will have a passion for social justice. We are looking for a passionate and driven person to lead and deliver the day to day operations across our North West Reserves Region. Delivering the conservation and restoration objectives of the reserves, through practical work, growing and managing locally based volunteers, supporting management planning and monitoring. This role will also manage building maintenance, infrastructure and access on our North West Reserves. The role will work closely with the regional reserves team supported by the Reserves Manager. This is a chance to make a difference to the protection and restoration of nature at a time when it has never been more important. 

The candidate: 

· The successful candidate will have a Higher Education qualification in environmental land management (Wildlife conservation/agriculture) and at least two years’ experience of wildlife reserve management and demonstrable track record in the environmental land management sector. 

Main Objectives 

· Champion the Vision and/or objectives for all reserves and projects in the region with existing and potential stakeholders and contributors. 

· Oversee and provide delivery of day-to-day operations on our reserves, where relevant and appropriate this will include maintenance of buildings, grounds, offices, workshops and wider infrastructure. 

· Facilitate external and internal meetings and knowledge exchange events. 

· Support, with line management, the roles detailed in the region-specific addendum. 

· Work closely with the Reserves Manager (post’s line-manager) who will continue to develop and support delivery of teamwork plans, to ensure consistency of approach and maximise capacity across reserves where appropriate. 

The successful candidate will ideally have: 

· Good understanding of land management for wildlife conservation. 

· Two years' experience of wildlife reserve management operations and demonstrable track record in the environmental land management sector. 

· Experience of procurement and contract management. 

· Experience of managing a team of staff, with line management responsibility, to promote a positive culture.

The Role
As Team Leader (Outreach Services) you will be in a crucial role, responsible for the delivery of a pre-trial Outreach Support Service to Vulnerable and Intimidated Witnesses in a defined geographical area.

You will manage, motivate and develop a team of volunteers who support vulnerable witnesses in their journey through the criminal justice system.

You will also develop and maintain key local stakeholder relationships with a view to enhancing partnership working, and service delivery standards and effectiveness.
