Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Learning: Inspire and support learners of all abilities, teaching a broad range of subjects within the St John's College curriculum, including functional skills in literacy and numeracy. Tailor your teaching to suit the individual needs of students, ensuring they are motivated and supported in their educational journey.
- Student Support: Ensure the development of personal learning plans (ILPs) for students, conducting initial assessments and regular reviews to track progress. Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people, ensuring every learner receives the service they need to succeed, both academically and in their future careers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the St John's Curriculum Management team and our co-located mainstream college partners to coordinate learners' access to mainstream learning opportunities. Collaborate with external partners, employers, and schools to enrich the learning experience and support work placements and community engagement.
- Administrative & Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records, monitor learners' progress, and contribute to the preparation for internal and external inspections. Ensure compliance with College policies and safeguarding regulations, and participate in quality assurance processes.
- Inclusive Culture: Embrace and promote a culture of diversity, working alongside the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), EDI committee, and staff to implement and evaluate our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategy.

Our debating, public speaking and cultural exchange programmes aim to embed sustainable cultures of oracy in schools, and empower young people to engage with the world, to speak more confidently and to listen to and understand different points of view. With the new Ofsted Framework and the Curriculum and Assessment Review confirming the importance of great oracy education, the need has never been greater for the ESU’s educational offers.
Purpose of this role.
This role is central to driving our work forward. You will play a key part in ensuring the next generation gains essential oracy skills by managing and delivering the sales of the English-Speaking Union’s educational products. These include our signature ‘Discover Your Voice’ student oracy workshops and our Teacher Oracy CPD sessions for schools and other educational settings in England and Wales, with potential to expand to international schools.
You will lead the full sales process from start to finish. This includes generating leads, responding to enquiries, securing bookings and overseeing the delivery of workshops and training. You will be proactive, motivated and confident working with a high degree of initiative. Working closely with the Director of Education, you will help build an effective sales operation that ensures thousands of young people and teachers benefit from high-quality oracy opportunities.
About the role and responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can:

Own the lifecycle of sales of our education products, building positive relationships to ensure repeat business

Collaborate with the ESU Marketing Team and Director of Education to develop the messaging and assets needed to promote our offers

Respond to and follow-up on leads and warm conversations to move prospects through the sales pipeline

Implement plans designed to generate leads of sales to schools (secondary and primary), Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), and other partners

Manage the delivery of the workshops by being point of contact for Lead Teachers, appointing freelance Oracy Leaders to deliver the work and providing communication, support and resources as necessary

Build the ESU network, connecting with teachers and MAT contacts to generate sales. This includes proactive outreach to new schools and MATs for new business, as well as working with existing clients.

Use Salesforce to manage all programme delivery including tracking all account communication, reporting on sales pipelines including new business and renewals

Devise the sales strategies and execute the plans to generate leads and interest from international schools

Collect data for monitoring (student surveys; case studies; teacher surveys)

Work with our pool of delivery staff (Oracy Leaders). This would include clear communications before and after workshop delivery, booking staff onto workshops, liaising with finance and HR when necessary.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of a generalist HR advisory service to the Federation and our Academies, providing up to date and informed HR guidance and support on HR policies, processes and systems
- Providing professional advice and support to Federation and Academy leaders in all areas of HR practice and employee relations such as grievance, disciplinary, performance management and sickness absence management, escalating complex cases as appropriate to the Head of HR and HR Business Partners

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Young Carers team as a Young Carers Transition Lead.
You will lead and coordinate the Young Carers Transition Pathway so that young carers (YC) and young adult carers (YAC) experience a consistent, person-centred journey from early preparation (5–10) through post-16 and into adulthood.
You will drive awareness and access to support across schools, FE/HE and employers, maintain regular conversations and touch points, and embed the Transition Pathway within the Local Authority statutory assessment and review cycle, in partnership with our Assessment Officers.
This is a newly created position offering a unique opportunity to help shape it's direction and truly make the role your own.
Funding has been secured for a minimum of 5 years and this is therefore currently a fixed term role.
What We're Looking For

- Maintain Carers Trust Heart of England (CTHoE) Young Carers Transition Pathway (tools, timelines, checklists, templates); ensure alignment with statutory guidance and commissioning requirements; champion co-production and inclusive practice.
- Run a blended model of weekly venue-based groups, the Drop-In Hub, structured one-to-one (1:1) sessions, and online options, tailored by age and stage (including early preparation for children aged 5–10 and post-16 transition content).
- Plan, deliver and cover groups across our area of operation to maintain continuity and meet agreed access and touch-point standards; provide contingency cover to avoid session gaps.
- Co-work with Assessment Officers so Transition Pathway prompts are built into statutory assessments and scheduled 6 and 12-month reviews; update prompts, templates and Customer/Client Relationship Management (CRM) fields as needed.
- Model best practice in assessment, planning, reviews and safe closure; work in a trauma-informed, strengths-based way; escalate risks promptly via safeguarding procedures.
- Develop active relationships with schools, Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) providers, employers, and Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) partners; coordinate assemblies, staff briefings, campus visits, mentoring and careers inputs to increase awareness and referrals.
- To work towards all of our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set out in our funding agreements, which will be kept under regular review.
- Produce routine updates for the Service Manager, Senior Management Team (SMT) and commissioners; use data to target continuous improvement.
- Deliver in line with safeguarding policy; promote EDI across all delivery; follow lone-working procedures and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Health & Safety and compliance: Complete and review risk assessments; report incidents, hazards and defects; ensure safe use of venues, transport and equipment; maintain professional boundaries; complete mandatory and refresher training (including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and safeguarding) and participate in supervision/appraisal.
- Attend activities and events outside core hours (evenings/weekends) where service needs require.

- Co-design and, where appropriate, co-deliver sessions (e.g. information evenings, carer’s rights, benefits, condition-specific education, wellbeing) that meet the needs of both young carers and adult carers.

A listening exercise by Mole Valley District Council highlighted the lack of community provision and the damaging impact of the closure of the children’s centre and other community buildings in recent years.
Leatherhead Community Hub (LCH) opened in March 2022 as a dedicated community centre in North Leatherhead. LCH provides opportunities for people to come together socially and build community, as well as giving partner organisations a permanent base from which to offer vital support. Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming space at the heart of the community, where people of all ages can connect, learn, have fun, and find the support they need to thrive. The Hub attracts around 3,500 visitors a month to our community café and the many other community activities run by LCH and other local groups.
One of LCH’s core values is to be community-led, and we are always looking for opportunities to take on board people’s ideas and develop their gifts. Last year, we set up a non-contact boxing project and we have plans for a new football project, in response to parents’ concerns about the lack of provision for children and young people. Responsibility for both projects is being handed over to local residents.

You will be responsible for listening to, engaging with and empowering local residents to facilitate positive change in their community, with the following specific objectives:
· To establish a residents’ panel (or similar), giving local residents a greater say in decisions affecting local community.

Role Summary
The Resources Coordinator role sits within the learning content creation team, which is responsible for the devising, commissioning and delivering of high quality, film-focused learning opportunities. These include the production of resources and online courses for teachers and their learners which are made available on our website and on our learning platform.
Main Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality, exciting and engaging resources for educators and young people, including commercial resources for film industry clients.
- Contribute to the planning and evaluation of resources within our three key areas of work: Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression, and Filmmaking.
- Project manage the resource process
- Assist the corporate partnerships team by contributing to pitches for educational resources with partners to support new film releases.
- Contribute to the development of courses aimed at educators via our online learning platform.
- Evaluate resources, training, online materials and related areas of organisational interest through surveys, focus groups and other methods, to identify and implement changes and programme developments.
- Develop quality assurance processes and documentation for our resources, training and online programmes.
- Carry out external and internal training to a range of staff and stakeholders
- Assist the resources and training leads in collaborating with external organisations and individuals to create resources and training materials.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships and provide training, educational insight and administrative support.
- Attend meetings across Into Film and with external partners to provide resource and training guidance covering all areas of our work.
- Complete administrative tasks including supporting educators, uploading resources to our website and assisting with reporting on resources to stakeholders.
- Copywriting, consultancy and research for Into Film News and Views and other marketing content.
- Develop and contribute to the planning and filming of video content for resources or courses.
- Support staff with resource production.
General Responsibilities:

- Contribute to long term planning to ensure growth in line with demand and resources.
- Contribute to the regular monitoring and evaluation of Into Film’s work.

Person Specification:
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ experience of teaching in the UK.
- Experience of creating resources which include moving image/film.
- Knowledge of the educational landscape across all four UK nations.
- Demonstrable creativity and commitment to making resources and training interesting and exciting for teachers/educators and students/young people.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to write accurately and correctly, and the ability to persuade and influence others and feedback ideas in a professional manner.
- Experience of chairing and guiding meetings.
- Experience of managing a range of projects, from initiation to completion, working with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable understanding of monitoring and evaluation.
- Commitment to film as a powerful tool for education, both as a cultural art form and to engage young people and raise attainment.
- Current knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Desirable:
- Experience in creating resources or opportunities which support young people’s careers education.
- Experience of filmmaking with young people.
- Experience of training teachers or other professionals.
- A love and knowledge of film.
All Into Film staff work in a hybrid pattern, combining home working with attendance at their local and national office when required, along with some travel across the UK, as appropriate to the role.

About The Role
Kingston Bereavement Support (KBS) is the only bereavement service in Kingston Upon Thames. We are a registered provider to local GPs and an organisational member of the Childhood Bereavement Network. We are organisational members of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and we work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.
The Service Manager will provide strategic leadership in the development and delivery of a high-quality service for our clients. This role will drive continuous learning, service improvements, and strong partnership engagement to ensure that KBS provides the best support possible. We are looking for a committed and passionate person who can work as part of a small team to provide a professional, effective, and quality service, ensuring that equal opportunities are available for everyone.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of managing experienced staff including personal development and objective setting.
- Experience of managing, monitoring and evaluating service or organisation provision.
- Practical experience of operational functions, ideally including IT, finance and marketing.
- A track record of fundraising through grants and other channels.
- Excellent leadership skills demonstrated in organisations experiencing major change.
