We are looking for someone with a proven record of developing collaboration and coproduction across services for people experiencing housing or homelessness issues people, to join us as a Project Coordinator. The role will oversee the development of Shelter’s participation in the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum. 

About this role 

Your role as Project Coordinator will further develop collaboration and coproduction across organisations who are member of the Norfolk Homelessness Solutions Forum. Specifically, this will involve project management for delivering the Forum’s objectives, overseeing the project communications plan and establishing and leading delivery working groups. You will oversee and support the work of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum’s Lived Experience Coordinator, act as an adviser on good practice for partners and ensure that co-production, collaboration and a person centred focus is at the heart of everything you do.

About you 

You will have experience of managing complex projects, including using a range of Project Management techniques and influencing system change using an evidence base. An outstanding and adaptable communicator, you will have experience of chairing meetings, delivering presentations and working in a multi-disciplinary context with external stakeholders. Your understanding and empathy for the people worst impacted by the housing emergency means you will be able to motivate partner organisations, championing the work of Shelter and the Forum within Norfolk.

The aim of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum is to bring about system change for homelessness support in Norfolk, by ensuring that the people’s views are transferred into policies and practices that truly support and serve the community. The Forum helps with the sharing of best practice, identifying service gaps and developing strategy to reduce homelessness and rough sleeping. 

About the Team

We have been providing housing advice to the people of Norfolk for almost 30 years, with specialisms in housing legal advice and advocacy. Our team work out of our Community Hub in Norwich and across Norfolk in community settings. We work in partnership with other local services to address interconnected issues which may impact on our clients’ ability to keep a home. This also includes advice for residents of Kings Lynn in partnership with Broadland Housing and Norfolk Citizens Advice. We also deliver housing right awareness sessions to empower local communities to take action on housing issues.

The Role

This makes the role ideally suited to someone with a broad range of accounting and financial experience and skills, ideally with either a social housing or charity background.

We are looking for someone who is a part-qualified or a fully qualified accountant, with knowledge of UK accounting regulations.  Strong financial reporting and analytical skills along with an understanding of payroll processes and systems is essential.

As our Communications & Community Engagement Officer, you’ll plan, create, and deliver high‑quality communications and engagement activity across digital, print, and face‑to‑face channels. From managing our social and digital platforms to delivering confident in‑person updates and sessions, you’ll make sure our message is clear, consistent, and compelling. You’ll lead and coordinate a VCSE network, bringing organisations together through events, updates, and shared opportunities, while building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Communications & Digital Engagement

• Develop and deliver an integrated communications and engagement plan aligned with organisational priorities.

• Manage and grow Citizens Advice Doncaster Borough’s digital presence across social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp).

• Plan, create, schedule, and evaluate content using a communications calendar, including seasonal messages and awareness campaigns.

• Monitor and analyse social media and website analytics to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness.

• Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of messaging.

• Produce engaging materials including articles, case studies, podcasts/audio content, videos, and graphics.

Marketing, Publications & Media

• Produce and circulate a monthly Citizens Advice newsletter via Mailchimp.

• Coordinate consistent strategic messaging across all communication channels (website, social media, newsletters, events, partner communications).

• Design and prepare promotional materials such as leaflets, posters, banners, and digital assets (print and PDF).

• Build relationships with local press, radio, councils, and partner newsletters to secure coverage and profile‑raising opportunities.

Community Engagement, Events & Presentations

• Plan and deliver community engagement activity including outreach events, workshops, talks, AGMs, briefings, and awareness sessions.

• Deliver regular updates and in‑person sessions to partners, stakeholders, community groups, and VCSE organisations.

• Confidently represent Citizens Advice at meetings, forums, and public events across Doncaster.

• Capture and share client, volunteer, and staff experiences to demonstrate service impact.

VCSE Network Coordination

• Lead, manage, and develop Citizens Advice Doncaster Borough’s VCSE network.

• Coordinate network activity including maintaining mailing lists, circulating updates, organising meetings and events, and sharing opportunities.

• Act as a central point of contact for VCSE partners, supporting collaboration, information‑sharing, and engagement across the borough.

Campaigns & Research Support

• Support local and national research and campaigns by gathering insight into clients’ circumstances through agreed channels.

• Contribute to campaign planning, priority awareness activity, and trustee awareness initiatives.

• Ensure campaign messages are reflected clearly and consistently across all platforms.

Collaboration & General Duties

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure communications support service delivery and organisational priorities.

• Support internal communications and staff engagement initiatives.

• Attend relevant meetings, training, and sector events.

• Undertake training required for the role and carry out other appropriate duties.

Person Specification

The Justice Together Initiative was launched in 2020 with a decade-long vision that people who use the UK immigration system can access justice fairly and equally, enabling them to get on with their lives. It is a unique and ambitious collaboration of several funder partners who have pooled more than £15 million of new funding to strategically invest in legal advice, strengthen immigration sector organisations over the long term, and local and national influencing to support the lawful and fair functioning of immigration, nationality, and asylum processes. It is hosted by Justice Collaborations which is an independent charity and wholly owned subsidiary of LEF.

As Influencing and Grants Manager you will work with colleagues, funder partners, sector experts and directly affected communities to lead the implementation of Justice Together's influencing strategy.

Primarily an influencing role, the postholder will also be responsible for managing a small number of influencing grants and will work closely with the Grants Manager and Grant Partner Community Manager to ensure that the process for grant renewals runs smoothly.

Contract: Permanent position, offered on either a full-time (35 hours) or part-time (28 hours) per week basis
Salary: £45,000 per annum full-time salary (£36,000 pro rata for four days per week)
Location: Hybrid role between home and London office, with one day per week in the London office

Justice Together has entered a new phase and is investing in influencing work to harness the organisation's partnerships, expertise, information and connections, both as a funder collaboration but also alongside grant partners and directly affected communities. Core responsibilities within the role will be as follows:

• Work with colleagues, funder partners, sector experts and directly affected communities to lead the implementation of Justice Together's influencing strategy
• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Justice Together's influencing work, identifying opportunities to shape policy, public debate and practice
• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including parliamentarians, policymakers, sector bodies, campaigners and funders
• Monitor political, policy and sector developments relevant to migration, racial justice, access to justice and the advice sector, and advise colleagues on emerging opportunities and risks
• Coordinate responses to consultations, policy developments, parliamentary opportunities and external calls for evidence
• Manage consultants or external specialists engaged to support influencing activity
• Convene and facilitate meetings, briefings and events with grant partners, funders and other stakeholders to support shared influencing priorities
• Work with colleagues and partners to capture learning from influencing activity and use this to strengthen future work
• Manage a small caseload of grants, building positive and constructive relationships with grant partners
• Work closely with the Grants Manager and colleagues on grant renewals, recommendations and decision-making processes including preparation of papers and summaries for the Grants Committee and other internal decision-making meetings
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Justice Together's strategy, priorities and ways of working

We are seeking an Access to Justice (A2J) Coordinator to coordinate the provision of vital diagnostic immigration advice for vulnerable migrants. The role will coordinate the diagnostic advice appointment pathway from start to finish. This includes:

• Receiving, processing and triaging new enquiries for support
• Working with the Immigration Team to identify appropriate cases to be offered diagnostic advice
• Coordinating advice appointments with specialist external advisors and confirming the appointment details with the person receiving advice
• Disseminating written advice notes from the Advisors
• Coordinating follow-up actions, including referral into HMC’s Immigration Team for casework support (approx. 40% of people who access diagnostic advice are provided with onward support by HMC) or providing appropriate signposting for those we cannot offer long term support.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Site Manager - North East. This role will be responsible for Woodland Trust Sites in Durham and wider north-east England. This includes Low Burnhall a woodland creation site in the heart of Durham, Ragpath Wood a Plantation Ancient Woodland Site in the Deerness valley, several woodlands around Washington and other Woodland Trust sites across north-east England.

The Role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of high-profile woodland sites in line with the UK Woodland Assurance Standard, including ancient woodland, designated sites, veteran trees and high-biodiversity areas.
• Lead on specifying, tendering and managing contracts, ensuring high-quality delivery through effective on-site contractor monitoring.
• Carry out Woodland Condition Assessments and use findings to develop, write and implement long-term management plans.
• Ensure site safety and compliance, including tree safety inspections, risk assessments and implementation of Woodland Trust health & safety policies.
• Plan, deliver and monitor a programme of woodland management work, collaborating with foresters, engagement teams, communications specialists and external partners.
• Build positive relationships with local communities, stakeholders and visitors, representing the Woodland Trust professionally and promoting understanding of our work.
• Support delivery of regional projects, fundraising, VIP visits and communications, providing compelling estate-based information and helping secure funding.
• Coordinate and support volunteers and manage budgets, grants and resources to deliver effective woodland management across the region.

The Candidate:

• You’ll have experience in forestry, conservation, land or woodland management, including sites of high conservation value.
• A background in strong project and contract management skills, including budgeting, tendering, monitoring and coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Knowledge of woodland ecology, legislative requirements, H&S procedures and safe working practices in varied and remote environments.
• Experience working with stakeholders such as government agencies, contractors, and deer managers to meet conservation and statutory objectives.
• Ability to manage tree safety inspections, tree pests, diseases, and invasive species.
• Leadership or people-management experience.
• Understanding of Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certification or willingness to develop this knowledge.
• Possess a HND/Degree in forestry, land management or related field (or equivalent experience) and a full driving licence with ability to travel.
