The Impact and Insight Officer exist to provide high quality data analysis, reporting and insight support across Battersea’s Impact & Evaluation (I&E) and Research & Insight (R&I) teams. Time management & organisation: there’s a lot to do, particularly when we have fundraising products live and during the busy winter fundraising period, so it’s important to be able to manage your time well. The team has a really positive collective attitude to helping you do this, and they will suggest different tools and methods to stay on top of your work. But your being organised from the get-go is important.
Attention to detail: in all tasks, you will need to have a good eye for detail to make sure work is completed with a high level of accuracy.
Proactive: there are many activities to get involved with at Shelter, so being proactive ensures you get as much from your role as possible. Within your role you need to take initiative in setting up meetings, asking questions and suggesting/trying new ideas. Beyond this, taking advantage of volunteering in our shops or at events, and visiting local Shelter Hubs, is a great way to understand the cause and sector.

About you
Are you a visionary leader in green finance, driven to shape nature markets that deliver nature’s recovery in the UK?
We’re looking for a senior leader in green finance and nature markets to drive the strategic development and delivery of all aspects of green finance across The Wildlife Trusts federation, ensuring our approach is ambitious, coherent, and aligned with our 2030 strategy - Bringing Nature Back.
Drawing on your strong business acumen, you will build a robust pipeline of commercial nature products to meet growing buyer demand, such as habitat banks for England’s Biodiversity Net Gain market, or nature-based carbon projects for the voluntary carbon market. An innovative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, you will help embed the systems, processes, and resources needed to strengthen our green finance capability, manage commercial risks, and improve efficiency across the federation.
It is essential that you have strong relationship-building and line management experience to grow our national Green Finance team, and establish new and long-lasting relationships with colleagues across the federation, external partners and stakeholders.
A core part of the role is to grow The Wildlife Trusts’ national function as a trusted broker for high integrity nature market products delivered by local Trusts. Using your strategic commercial skills, you will also lead the development of new opportunities for large scale investment, designing the mechanisms through which investment can be deployed and ensuring these approaches work for both national and local priorities.
You will champion innovation in green finance, supporting pioneering work in nationally significant landscapes, such as the Rothbury Estate, while helping position The Wildlife Trusts at the forefront of nature market development. Acting as a national thought leader, you will represent the organisation across the conservation, government, finance, and business sectors - advocating for the role of green finance in delivering transformational impact for nature.

Shelter is leading the movement to defend the right to a safe home, and to win this fight, they are expanding their award-winning income generation team. Shelter is now looking for a strategic and ambitious Head of Direct Dialogue to lead its high-impact face-to-face fundraising programme.
As Head of Direct Dialogue, you will set the vision and strategy for one of Shelter’s most vital acquisition channels. This is a senior leadership role within the Individual Giving team, responsible for managing a £4m investment budget to deliver sustainable, long-term growth across cause-led and lottery products.
Leading a hybrid model of in-house teams and external agencies, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of campaigns that inspire thousands of new supporters. You will be a highly visible leader, spending time in the field to support non-desk-based teams while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, risk management, and supporter experience. We’re looking for a Communications Officer with experience in marketing and communications who will be part of a high-paced communications team working to engage with Christians and churches in London and beyond.
The successful candidate will:
Oversee the full production cycle of the quarterly Together prayer guide
Plan and oversee the weekly LCM online prayer meetings
Support missionaries in engaging their supporters more effectively
Create fresh content for LCM’s communications channels
