About the role
Your key purpose will be to support the successful day to day running of our brand new Twickenham shop, making this an exciting opportunity to be part of a new role from the very beginning. Working alongside the Shop Manager, you will help maximise sales, deliver excellent customer service, and lead and support a team of volunteers to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience. You will play an important role in processing and merchandising donations, promoting Gift Aid, maintaining high shop standards, and ensuring the shop operates efficiently and in line with relevant policies and procedures.
About you
This role requires experience of supporting the management of a retail environment, including knowledge of customer service, cash handling, stock management, and health and safety practices. You will be organised, proactive, and confident working in a busy setting, with the ability to motivate and support volunteers, prioritise competing demands, and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills are essential, along with a flexible approach and a willingness to work weekends as part of a rota.

The Ada Lovelace Institute (Ada) is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Director. You will have a track record of major donor fundraising, ideally with an established network of relevant contacts and relationships, and excellent knowledge of the heritage, film and arts sectors. You will also have some knowledge of the screen heritage sector. You will be a highly skilled communicator and relationship builder able to develop compelling cases for support tailored to individual prospects.
Film London can offer an initial contract of 60 days over three years (approx. 20 days per year) until March 2029.

Overview
We are looking for a permanent Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. The Finance team plays a vital role in supporting the Foundation to make a positive impact and improve health and wellbeing across Lambeth and Southwark.
The Finance Assistant will provide essential transactional finance support, with primary responsibility for maintaining supplier records, processing invoices and expenses, supporting payment runs, completing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate transaction data within the finance system.

The Operations Assistant provides the coordination, administration and organisational support that enables New Wine's Operations Team to flourish.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, this role supports the smooth running of the charity by coordinating recruitment administration, governance processes, office operations, compliance records, events and organisational systems.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Operational Administration
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations Team.
Coordinate operational workflows, ensuring tasks and priorities are delivered efficiently.
Maintain operational documentation and filing systems.
Support the implementation of new operational processes and improvements.
Maintain shared operational trackers and action plans.
2. People and HR Administration
Coordinate recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.

Role Particulars
Working Pattern
Full-time, including weekly (Tuesday) in-person team meetings in London. The rhythm is as follows: All-staff meetings on 1st and 3rd week of the month, and individual Operational team days on the 2nd and 4th week of the month. The nature of this role means that some travel and working away from home will be required, as agreed in advance. Specifically, the post holder must be available for the annual leadership conference and the New Wine summer festival.

This role is eligible for hybrid and flexible working, with a minimum of 1 day in the London office a week
Supervision
The post holder will receive regular supervision from the Head of Operations.
