This is an exciting opportunity to join GamCare Yorkshire's Community Outreach & Training service, supporting a public health approach to preventing gambling-related harm and encouraging early intervention. As an Outreach & Training Practitioner, you'll deliver community outreach, awareness sessions, workshops, drop-ins and workforce training to improve understanding of gambling harms, reduce stigma and strengthen local pathways to support.
Working with local partners, professionals and community organisations, you'll deliver prevention-focused activity informed by local insight and lived experience, including Brief Interventions and appropriate signposting to the National Gambling Helpline and treatment services where needed. As an independent charity and the leading provider of support for anyone affected by gambling harms, the work you do will help GamCare reach communities across Yorkshire & Humber and make a real difference to people's lives
About you
We're looking for a motivated and compassionate individual with experience delivering community-based outreach, engagement or prevention activity, and a good understanding of gambling-related harm within a public health, prevention or early intervention context. You'll be confident holding supportive conversations that encourage awareness and behaviour change, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage professionals and diverse or seldom-heard communities. Experience delivering training, workshops and awareness sessions in a non-judgemental, stigma-reducing way is important, as is strong organisational skills, confidence using IT systems, and a commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries. Role Purpose
The RDA Coach is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of safe, effective, and engaging sessions at Lowlands Equestrian Centre. The Coach role ensures that all sessions meet the needs of disabled riders while maintaining high standards of equine welfare, volunteer support, and compliance with RDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Session Delivery
· Lead and deliver all ridden sessions, ensuring they are safe, inclusive, and tailored to individual rider needs.
· Lead other activities at the centre when needed.
· Complete session risk assessments and retain responsibility for maintaining safety throughout.
· Take overall responsibility for the effective running of sessions, including setup, delivery, and close-down.

The Role
Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. Counselling sessions are designed to help clients to develop emotional resilience, readjust to life after stroke and prepare to reintegrate into community life.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties
· Providing counselling sessions in person, on-line or by telephone, throughout Liverpool.
· Assessing the appropriateness of counselling for service users by providing emotional needs assessment sessions as well as using appropriate screening/evaluation tools (e.g. PHQ and GAD)
· Managing risk and safeguarding issues in accordance with appropriate legal, ethical and organisational requirements.
About You
You will have:
· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)
· A minimum of 1 year post qualification supervised clinical practice
· BACP registration (or equivalent) and actively working towards accreditation
· Experience of delivering short-term counselling
· Experience of working with people with cognitive impairment
· A flexible approach to hours and working arrangement, being able to work independently.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. Our L&D team is based across the UK. This is a hybrid role, involving working from your nearest office location (Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle) and from home. Frequent travel to other offices and locations across the UK is to be expected.

Women's experiences of gambling harm are still poorly understood across the sector. GamCare's Women's Pathway is changing that, and we're looking for a Training Lead to help lead the way. You'll design and deliver engaging CPD-accredited training to professionals, volunteers, community organisations and women's groups, building strong partnerships that increase awareness, early identification and access to support.
Working closely with stakeholders across the sector, you'll combine training delivery, partnership development and content design to help ensure the Women's Pathway reaches the women who need it most. About you
We're looking for an experienced and engaging trainer who is passionate about empowering women and supporting behaviour change through high-quality learning experiences. You'll have experience designing and delivering training to a range of audiences and be confident adapting your approach to meet different learning needs. Importantly, you'll bring experience of working directly with professionals and/or women's groups, ideally within community, support, recovery, health, social care or voluntary sector settings.

This specialist, gender-responsive service supports young women and girls under the age of 18 who are vulnerable to, or actively experiencing, Child Criminal Exploitation, Child Sexual Exploitation, county lines activity and gang involvement.
Delivered by culturally competent female mentors, many with relevant lived experience, the service works alongside statutory and voluntary sector partners to identify and support young women who may otherwise remain hidden from traditional safeguarding pathways.
The service aims to reduce the harm caused by exploitation, improve safety and wellbeing, and help young women build resilience and positive futures.
About this key role
As a Female Child Criminal Exploitation Mentor, you will provide intensive support to young women and girls who have been identified as being at risk of, or involved in, exploitation and related harms.
Working on a one-to-one basis, as well as delivering groupwork sessions, you will build trusted relationships with young people and their families, helping them to recognise risks, increase their safety and make positive changes in their lives.
You will work closely with partner agencies to coordinate support, contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes, and provide advice and guidance to professionals working with vulnerable young women.
