Purpose of the Role
The Sessional Leader in Charge is responsible for leading youth club sessions, overseeing staff and volunteers, and ensuring that young people experience a safe and engaging environment. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director with a social enterprise on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is central to telling the stories that bring Carers Trust’s work to life and inspire people to engage with our mission. Through the creation of high-quality, engaging digital content across social media, video, web and written channels, the Digital Content Officer will help raise awareness of the challenges facing unpaid carers and demonstrate the difference that Carers Trust, our Network Partners and supporters make across the UK.
Working within the Marketing and Communications Team and closely alongside colleagues across the organisation, the postholder will develop and deliver compelling content that supports campaigns, fundraising, influencing and engagement activity. They will gather stories from carers and Network Partners, create and coordinate digital content across multiple platforms, and help ensure our communications remain creative, timely and audience-focused.
The role will also play an important part in ensuring the voices, experiences and achievements of unpaid carers are at the heart of Carers Trust's communications. Sounds great, what will I be doing?
This role involves providing intensive, person-centred support to women in a residential setting. The role includes delivering key sessions, community meetings, and daily contact to assess and monitor individual needs. You will co-produce Support and Safety Plans with residents, focusing on their strengths and goals, and offer advice on safety, domestic abuse, housing, and independent living. Responsibilities also include liaising with statutory bodies on safeguarding matters, supporting move-on accommodation, and promoting empowerment through workshops and social activities. The role follows “The Hestia Approach,” prioritising co-production, recovery, and partnership with service users.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. Here's what the team will be looking for
Applicants should have experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs, including mental health issues and substance misuse. This includes delivering high-quality floating or outreach support, developing support plans, conducting risk assessments, and liaising with external professionals. Knowledge of safeguarding, welfare benefits, housing legislation, and the ability to accurately record casework using computer systems is essential. The role also requires the ability to work independently in the community and travel throughout the borough.

Key Responsibilities -
To develop and deliver family support and play sessions to children, young people and their mothers in refuge and the community. To lead on domestic violence awareness raising sessions with children/young people and professionals.

Job Purpose
Using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) model, you’ll provide person-centred information, advice and guidance to a caseload of around 25 clients, helping them access, return to, and sustain employment that is right for them.
You’ll also build strong employer relationships to source suitable opportunities and work closely with partners, including health providers, mental health services, JCP and other employment organisations, to ensure clients receive joined-up support.
