Job purpose
The Associate Head of Engagement Delivery will lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of engagement and fundraising activity to key agreed audiences, ensuring alignment with the audience engagement strategy and campaign plan.
· Take accountability for Engagement Delivery team outputs, ensuring high-quality execution across creative, campaigns and channels

Main duties and responsibilities
· Campaign Planning and Delivery
o Accountable for the planning and operational delivery of engagement and fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email and telemarketing to current supporter and DRTV, digital acquisition supporting integrated charity-wide campaigns, and advocacy activity.
o Oversee direct line management of campaign delivery teams, coaching and developing individuals to build capability, confidence and high performance across the full channel mix, while fostering an inclusive and supportive culture
o Oversee campaign briefing, scheduling, and performance tracking, ensuring campaigns are delivered in line with audience strategy and organisational priorities.
o Adjust campaign strategies as required to respond to performance, changing supporter behaviours, market conditions, and organisational priorities.

Person specification
1. About the role
This role will help to drive forward the public health, inclusion, and awareness team’s work across the UK, which is to empower patients and the public to play a full role in managing their own risk of getting breast cancer, diagnosing breast cancer earlier and improving their quality of life after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, thereby reducing the risk of recurrence.
You will work closely with the Public health, inclusion and awareness manager to support the growth and expansion of a public health talks programme, leading on public health talks coordination. The programme is delivered through trained volunteers who are spread across the UK.
Your role will consist of coordination between individuals and organisations enquiring about booking public health talks as well as supporting with drop-in sessions for volunteers. You will also support the manager to update resources, action feedback from stakeholders and work with other teams within the charity such as volunteering. You will support with day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the wider public health, inclusion and awareness team.
This role involves frequent communication with a range of people through email, telephone and over MS Teams. You will use our database (Unity) to log all communications and to keep track of talks progress. Our database also tracks volunteer training and availability. Alongside our database, our volunteer portal allows you to interact with all the public health volunteers at once for events, online talks and resources.
About you
You will be highly organised, able to manage priorities and have excellent verbal and written skills. You will have solid customer service or stakeholder engagement experience. An excellent communicator who can handle issues sensitively. Additionally, you will have strong IT skills and have some experience with databases and GDPR or compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with supporters, donors and community stakeholders.
Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns, appeals and engagement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to strengthen supporter relationships and increase engagement.
Assist with donor stewardship and supporter communications.
Work closely with colleagues across fundraising and engagement functions to maximise opportunities.
Support fundraising events and community engagement activities.
Conduct prospect research and identify potential fundraising opportunities.
Use supporter insight and data to inform engagement activity.

This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships and connecting with people.
You may already work in fundraising, supporter engagement, community engagement, events, partnerships or a relationship-led role and be looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience and help shape future fundraising activity.

Previous experience specifically engaging younger audiences would be advantageous but isn't essential. More important is an interest in relationship-building and developing new ways to connect people with a cause.

About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Finance and Income Operations to lead NFFN’s finance function and help strengthen the systems, controls and reporting that will support the organisation’s next stage of growth.
This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a small, ambitious and mission-led organisation. You will oversee day-to-day financial management, budgeting, management accounts, restricted funds, funder reporting and income operations. You will also help improve how finance works across NFFN, giving budget holders clearer information and helping the organisation make confident, well-informed decisions.
The role is about more than keeping the numbers moving. We are looking for someone who can help build a stronger finance function, improve internal systems, support funder confidence, and help NFFN manage a more complex mix of grants, donations, restricted funding and revenue-based delivery work.
Depending on your background, this may suit someone with strong charity finance experience, or someone from a finance, grants, funding operations or mission-led commercial background who wants to use their skills in a values-led organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
leading day-to-day financial management, controls and reporting
preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts and financial updates
supporting budget holders with clear, practical financial information
improving finance systems, processes, approvals and reporting tools

This role will suit someone who combines financial rigour with practical judgement. You will need to be comfortable working independently in a remote organisation, explaining finance clearly to non-finance colleagues, and improving systems in a way that is proportionate and realistic for a small non profit organisation.
We know this is a broad role, and we are not expecting one person to have done everything before. We are looking for someone with strong financial experience, good judgement, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping NFFN build the financial infrastructure it needs for the future.
This is a fully home-based role, with flexibility in how work is managed and occasional travel for team meetings and events. You will be joining a collaborative, values-led team working to support farmers, nature and a more resilient food system.

It steps in where other local services can’t, providing support now and preparing children and young people for future life challenges.
