About the Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Project & Finance Officer to support the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation across finance, project coordination, fundraising administration and office operations.
This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple priorities in a small, fast-paced NGO environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting financial processes, grants administration, campaign delivery and organisational coordination, ensuring strong internal systems and effective operational support across the team.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Administration
- Process staff expenses, credit card reconciliations and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support payment processing, including setting up bank payments as part of internal dual-control financial procedures.
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and supporting internal financial controls.
- Support during the audit by collating documentation, schedules and supporting information.
- Draft service agreements and support contract administration, including maintaining organised records and tracking approvals.
- Support organisational governance, including preparation for Board meetings, drafting agendas, compiling papers and taking minutes.
- Assist with general financial and administrative processes to support the smooth running of the organisation.
Fundraising & Grants Administration
- Set up, maintain and monitor a fundraising and grants calendar, including proposal deadlines, grant start and end dates, as well as financial and narrative reporting deadlines.
- Support donor communications, including individual giving administration and correspondence.
- Track grant and subgrant agreements, monitor signature status, and ensure fully executed agreements are appropriately stored and accessible.
- Support correspondence and administration relating to US foundations and other funders.
- Maintain accurate grant records and filing systems to ensure compliance and effective reporting.
Project & Campaign Support
- Support the delivery of the organisation’s campaigns and advocacy projects, primarily on methane, including coordination across workstreams and follow-up on agreed actions.
- Assist with website updates, newsletters and other communications materials.
- Manage correspondence with companies, policymakers, partners and other external stakeholders.
- Support campaign launches, including coordination of logistics, report production and visual materials.
- Help organise events, workshops and webinars, including technical and logistical support.

Office Operations
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the London office.

Person Specification
Essential
- At least 2–4 years’ relevant professional experience, ideally within an NGO, charity, public interest or mission-driven organisation.
- Experience supporting financial administration, including invoices, expenses, payment processing or financial record-keeping.
- Experience of project coordination, grants administration or organisational operations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

We are seeking a Digital Product Owner to join World Horse Welfare's Digital team based remotely on a 12 month fixed-term basis, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
You will help shape, deliver and continuously improve digital services that support our charitable work. About NEON
NEON is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to help social justice movements win. We build capacity and infrastructure to accelerate the transition to a new economy. We work across a wide range of progressive issues including climate, housing, healthcare and migration. Across our three hubs (movement building, communications and operations) we support a network of over 1000 movement organisations working towards political and social justice in the UK.
This role is anchored within NEON’s Comms Hub. Established 10 years ago, the Comms Hub is a powerful, effective, pillar of the UK’s progressive communications infrastructure. The Hub convenes, networks, and books progressive spokespeople into the media at scale (averaging 1,500-2,000 media bookings a year), produces clear, usable tested messaging guidance that cuts through, and trains comms professionals (around 500 people annually). Our team serves as a go-to resource for strategic comms advice and planning, and crisis-comms support for groups across the progressive movement. NEON’s Comms Hub is relied on by a wide-range of organisations: from grassroots campaigners to expert insiders. The Comms Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.

Purpose of this role
The Head of Digital is an exciting new role at NEON. This role will be responsible for designing and running a flagship new digital programme, that will sit at the heart of NEON’s Communications Hub. The aim of the digital programme will be to help connect, strengthen and scale the UK’s progressive digital comms infrastructure.
Right now, progressive movements are losing the "air game" to far-right voices who are effectively using podcasts, social media, new media platforms and smart, aggressive, experimental digital strategies to dominate and shape national debates.
Working closely with our experienced Comms Hub team, and our trusted networks, this role is a unique opportunity to be part of building the digital comms networks, skills and strategies progressive movements need to take on the rising far right – and win.
At NEON, that would mean: convening and co-ordinating communities of digital comms experts, creators, editors and strategists; designing and delivering effective targeted digital skills training that will build capacity and confidence; supporting our 24/7 spokesperson and media booking team by setting up effective clipping and distribution programmes; and identifying opportunities to collaborate with our partners to run high-impact reactive digital strategies that shift the conversation.
What you’ll be doing:
The successful candidate will play an active role in shaping the strategy and focus of this programme, as well as the sequencing of the roll out of key workstreams. However, this role is likely to be anchored around the following key responsibilities. In this role, you will:

Lead the strategy development and delivery of the new digital comms programme, alongside the Co-Directors of the Comms Hub.

Set up and manage a supportive, reactive social media unit within our existing Spokesperson Network, with the support of our Media and Messaging teams. This unit will clip interviews and create original content for our established network of spokespeople, and help to secure bookings in new digital-first media outlets.
-
Work closely with the whole Comms Hub team, to design and convene a powerful co-ordinated network of progressive creators and influencers. Built from our existing spokesperson pool, as well as new networks, members of this digital creator network will be individuals with the backing of social movements and the reach, potential and positioning to shape the national debate. Together with the Heads of Messaging, Training and Media, you will help to provide this network with hands-on training and strategy support, evidence-based messaging, and traditional and new media booking opportunities.

Design and oversee a strategic, effective suite of digital training offers, designed to upskill influential progressive spokespeople, movements and groups, at scale. This will include shaping our existing training programmes, as well as designing and developing new offers. This could include: a half-day follow-up to our flagship 3-day spokesperson training, a one-day digital strategy training for comms teams within our networks, and shaping our bespoke, issue-specific and crisis-focused trainings to support groups dealing with online-hate or abuse. This workstream will be supported by our Head of Training, relevant Comms Hub team members and delivered with the support of external consultant trainers.

Identify opportunities to trial and run effective digital ‘experiments’ with partners and movement groups within the Comms Hub. For example, this could look like collaborating with a network of migrants-rights groups to create co-ordinated digital content to push-back against a far-right attack at a moment of ‘whirlwind’. Or spotting an opportunity to work with the Head of Messaging to trial a new AI-driven platform to A/B test messaging in targeted ads during a movement campaign on wealth taxes.

Set up a network of consultants to support and deliver the core programme workstreams including: freelance videographers, editors, digital strategists and trainers.

Provide on-going 1:1 support to our spokespeople and allied organisations, particularly during moments of crisis and ‘whirl-wind’.

Provide regular insights to our partners on the digital trends shaping public opinion and national discourse.

Play an active role in the wider Comms Hub strategy and day-to-day operations, including attending our weekly strategy meetings, feeding into key messaging and narrative development projects, and supporting delivery across the hub.

Oversee and the digital programme’s finances and budget on a month-to-month basis, and the programmes’ Fundraising Strategy, with the support of the Co-Directors of Comms and the Head of Fundraising.

Who you are:

About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are recruiting a Communications Lead to join Working Well Trust. This is a 35-hour per week role, Monday to Friday, based at our Bethnal Green office with travel to other offices and boroughs when required. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days on site per week. Occasional evening work may be required.
This role will lead and deliver Working Well Trust’s communications activity across digital, print and internal channels, ensuring that our content is engaging, accessible, timely and aligned with organisational aims, service requirements and brand standards. The postholder will also support contract mobilisation, stakeholder engagement and effective internal communication across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with strong communications, digital content, copywriting and design skills, who can bring creativity, structure and initiative to a growing mental health and employment charity. You will work closely with the CEO, Operations Director, HR Advisor, service teams, clients and external stakeholders to ensure our communications reflect our values, services and impact.
Experience of working in the voluntary sector, mental health, employment support, disability or neurodiversity would be beneficial, but above all, we are looking for someone who is committed to Working Well Trust’s aims and able to communicate our work clearly, sensitively and creatively.
What you’ll be doing
- You will plan, write and schedule engaging content across Working Well Trust’s social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, ensuring posts are timely, accessible and aligned with our organisational aims and, where appropriate, the funding requirements of individual services.
- You will update and maintain the Working Well Trust website using WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, current and accessible. You will also liaise with our website developer to resolve faults and support structural changes when required.
- You will create marketing and promotional materials in line with Working Well Trust brand guidelines, including leaflets, flyers, posters, banners, presentations, infographics and impact statements. You will work with teams and clients to develop content that promotes our services, supports referrals and reflects the communities we work with.
- You will lead on co-production activities and events where appropriate, supporting clients and teams to contribute meaningfully to communications and promotional materials.
- You will support staff with case studies and service stories, providing guidance on content, editing and refining material so that it is suitable for Working Well Trust communications.

The role
We are excited to be seeking a Head of Transformation to help shape not only major change initiatives, but also the culture, behaviours, and ways of working to enable better long-term outcomes and experiences for patients, families, staff, and volunteers. The role will embed a more structured, transparent, and outcomes-focused approach to organisational delivery, by developing frameworks and standards, helping teams deliver change consistently and confidently.
This key leadership role, reporting into our Director of IT, Estates and Digital Transformation, will help to build our culture to support our organisational transformation, by encouraging accountability, collaboration, planning, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across clinical, operational, corporate, and support services, visibly developing relationships and bringing people on board to ensure change, both digital and non-digital, is delivered in a practical, supportive and proportionate way, while remaining fully aligned to organisational priorities and governance requirements. The role will lead, develop and coach a small team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, encouraging full business analysis capability across the organisation, while adopting an appropriate risk management approach. The role will make a tangible impact across the work of Phyllis Tuckwell, both clinically and operationally.
About you
How this is delivered, through the building and developing of relationships across the organisation, will be key to the success of this role.
We are looking for a people-focused and values led individual who can combine strong delivery expertise with the ability to influence behaviours and culture. Proven experience leading organisational change and delivery frameworks is vital, along with a strong understanding of project and change management principles. The knowledge, and experience of embedding of business analysis capability would be of advantage. Qualifications or experience in areas such as PRINCE2, MSP, Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, or organisational change are helpful. Whilst previous experience within a health care or a hospice environment is not essential applicants should understand the importance of working in a people-focused, regulated environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent stakeholder management, emotional intelligence, and facilitation skills; being able to challenge constructively while maintaining trust and engagement. They should hold strong communication skills, being able to explain complex concepts in accessible language, along with demonstrated leadership skills.
