St Mary-le-Bow is seeking a creative and organised Events and Marketing Officer to support the launch and ongoing promotion of a new Thursday evening public talk series and a regular Compline service, designed to engage City workers and visitors to the Square Mile, alongside marketing and promotion to grow congregational attendance at regular and festival services and events. The role will focus on planning, promoting, and delivering high-quality events that connect faith, culture, and contemporary life, while raising the profile of St Mary-le-Bow as a welcoming spiritual and intellectual centre in the City of London.

The ideal candidate will be just as comfortable in a room full of adults, supporting teachers to understand the principles of TastEd, as they are with a group of children, getting stuck in and modelling the fun of using all five senses to explore fruits and vegetables. They will also enjoy keeping things organised behind the scenes, from coordinating sessions to ensuring feedback is collected.

This role combines:

• Delivering training to educators
• Managing relationships with schools and early years settings
• Delivering hands-on sensory food education sessions with early years and primary-aged children

We are a small and collaborative team, so the successful candidate will be comfortable getting involved across different aspects of the charity’s work. This is a new role as the organisation grows, giving the successful candidate an opportunity to help shape how the role develops. The key focus will be supporting schools and early years settings to successfully implement and embed TastEd’s approach to sensory food education.

Purpose of role

Person specification

Experience 

1. Experience of working for or volunteering for a charity, especially if UK-based and community focussed, is highly desirable.

As Community Connector you will play a vital role in fostering meaningful relationships between Raw Material and its diverse local communities, and stakeholders across the education, arts, youth work, community, and social and healthcare sectors.

What the job involves

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with mid and high-value supporters, providing tailored stewardship that motivates, inspires and maximises their long-term fundraising impact. Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and wider team, you’ll identify emerging opportunities, spot potential high-value fundraisers and help shape the growth of our community fundraising programme. In collaboration with colleagues across the charity, you’ll make sure our amazing community fundraisers feel recognised and thanked for their contributions and are celebrated across our media and digital channels.

How and where we work

Who are we looking for? 

Ygam is seeking an experienced corporate fundraiser, or individual with transferable skills, to join our tight-knit and ambitious team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to use your communication skills and initiative to manage and develop a pipeline of corporate partnerships opportunities, spotting synergies and developing relationships with potential donors. By writing proposals and managing a calendar of supporting activities, you will not only hone your communication skills, corporate account development and management, but also make a tangible impact on our mission to Safeguard our Digital Generation. 

Key tasks: 

• manage and grow a portfolio of small to medium corporate partners, increasing income by identifying new prospects and through the stewardship of existing donors. 

• write high quality applications and communicate accurately and transparently on the progress made in partnerships.  

• work with our programme experts to develop expertise in key programme areas and build your knowledge of Ygam’s work. 

• support with applications and reports to large corporates and other associated fundraising activity.  

The ideal candidate will be motivated, creative, and organised, with a knack for relationship building. Role Requirements 

Duties will include but not be limited to: 

Business Development

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop strategies which increase Ygam’s visibility in the corporate space.

• Conduct prospective supporter research; establish and grow the partnerships pipeline, and develop pitches to meet shared objectives, working with the Head of Fundraising. 

• Build strong relationships with organisations that share our values.

• Manage the prospect pipeline using Salesforce, segmenting the pipeline into areas of programme interest and tracking applications, expected and actual income and reporting deadlines. 

Relationship Building: 

• Craft engagement plans to deepen existing relationships and maximise fundraising opportunities 

• Provide excellent account management for new and established partners, including regular and meaningful communication.

• Produce relevant, creative, and compelling proposals, reports and updates to keep our corporate partners motivated and engaged. 

• Identify and execute creative ways to bring our work to life for funders.

• Ensure that relationships with donors (both new and existing) are maintained and managed effectively before, during, and after receipt of funds. 

• Effectively communicate Ygam’s vision, mission, and programmes to potential donors. Delivering and shaping engaging and emotive copy for appeal letters, emails, newsletters, and other promotional materials. 

• Contributing to wider Fundraising Department objectives, sharing innovative ideas, supporting all income streams, and promoting a culture of positive team-working. 

• Working closely with the External Affairs team to ensuring effective use of case studies, photography, statistics, and organisational information and that all communications are consistent and in line with Ygam brand guidelines.

Job Sumnmary for Director of Charitable Impact

As the Executive Director of Charitable Impact at Bowel Cancer UK, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our mission: ensuring that everyone with bowel cancer is diagnosed at the earliest stages, receives the best possible care and that more people survive the disease and thrive beyond their diagnosis.

You will lead the charity’s research programmes, policy and influencing, patient services, healthcare professional education, and health information functions. You will ensure these programmes deliver measurable impact on early diagnosis, equity of access, and better outcomes for people with bowel cancer, particularly focusing on reducing health inequalities and addressing the growing incidence of bowel cancer in people under 50.

Working closely with the Strategy & Insight unit, you will embed robust evaluation and evidence into all our work and lead the development of new patient-facing services and digital innovations – including the use of AI – to expand our reach and improve outcomes.

You will bring strategic vision, sector expertise, and an inclusive, collaborative leadership style, guiding a team of around 40 passionate professionals to maximise Bowel Cancer UK’s charitable impact across the UK.

Trust and Foundations Fundraising Lead

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is going through an exciting time where we are growing, with the aim of reaching more families in need.

About the role

We are looking to appoint a full-time Trust and Foundations Fundraising Lead (35 hours per week) to lead and develop Rainbow Trust’s trusts and foundations fundraising programme. You will manage relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds we need to deliver and grow our support services.

Our Philanthropy team is an ambitious team with a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising £5.7m a year to fund our support services and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. We have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and you will have the opportunity to work on large applications.

You will cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundations, including five- and six-figure grants, increasing their engagement and support of the charity, through reports, meetings and phone calls. Through the identification and research of new prospective trust funders, you will find creative ways to engage with them to secure funding. You will also collaborate with internal teams to develop strong cases for support and impact measurement.

What we’re looking for:

· Excellent research and writing skills, preferably with experience of successfully securing four- or five-figure gifts from charitable trusts and foundations

· The ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external people – including trust managers and trustees to build great relationships and influence

· Knowledge of the requirements of trust funders, the principles of application-writing and effective project reporting and of managing a funding portfolio or similar

· A persuasive and open communicator - the ability to develop and submit high-quality and compelling funding proposals and reports to trusts, working closely with colleagues across the charity

Job purpose 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised candidate to join Clinks and play a key role in delivering our annual programme of events and training. 

The Events and Training Officer will lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of Clinks’ busy calendar of member engagement activity, including online and in-person events, training sessions, and our flagship annual conference. 

Events and training at Clinks are delivered collaboratively across teams, and the post-holder will help coordinate this programme while also taking an active role in delivery. They will ensure that Clinks’ events and training offer is high quality, accessible, well-promoted, and responsive to the needs of the voluntary sector working in criminal justice. 

This role requires someone who is confident managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively across the organisation, and building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

1. Duties and key responsibilities 

Events and Training Programme Coordination 

• Coordinate the delivery of Clinks’ annual programme of events and training, working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a consistent, high-quality offer. 

• Manage the full event lifecycle, including planning, logistics, speaker and facilitator liaison, registration, delivery support and follow-up. 

• Act as the main point of contact for all events and training enquiries, providing excellent support to members, delegates and partners. 

• Ensure events are delivered in the most cost-effective way, to budget, and in line with Clinks’ internal processes. 

• Support staff across Clinks to deliver events and training sessions, including providing guidance, templates, systems support and coordination. 

• Promote all events and training opportunities through appropriate channels, working closely with communications colleagues. 

• Manage relationships with external facilitators and event partners to ensure smooth delivery and strong collaboration. 

• Monitor pricing and access to ensure smaller organisations are supported, while also contributing to Clinks’ income generation targets.
