As the UK’s leading university access organisation, our staff team is helping over 60,000 young people each year at its 46 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our
provision to 50 centres over the coming years.
We are looking for individuals who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a permanent role as a part-time Programme Support Tutor working in our centre in Leicester. You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.

About the Role
In this exciting and varied role, you will play a key part in delivering the College’s education and events strategy. With over 70 events each year, ranging from online learning sessions to major conferences, you will be at the heart of ensuring delegates, speakers and partners have an outstanding experience.
You will become an expert in our event processes and systems, supporting smooth operations from first enquiry through to post‑event reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in events, with hands‑on experience across administration, logistics, customer service and marketing.
Key tasks and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· First point of contact for event delegates, handling queries by email and phone with professionalism and warmth.
· Assist with day‑to‑day administration and preparation of event materials such as sign‑in sheets, name badges and speaker bios.
· Support venue research and sourcing and maintain organised team filing systems.
· Attend and support events, online and in‑person, including set‑up, registration, delegate support and pack‑down.
· Help promote events through email campaigns, website updates, social media and external event listings.
About You
You bring a strong interest in event management, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident, customer‑focused approach. Highly organised and able to prioritise, multitask and work independently in a busy environment, you also demonstrate solid IT capability, including MS Office and working with databases. Your proactive, solutions‑driven mindset, attention to detail and willingness to travel occasionally make you well‑suited to supporting a wide range of event activities.

Job Description
The Head of Delivery & Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the
successful implementation, quality of outcomes, and retention of DFN Project SEARCH programmes
across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Iberia, in line with our franchise agreement from Project
SEARCH . This role leads the Delivery & Partnerships team, ensuring strategic alignment, excellence
of delivery, and sustained impactful partnerships.
You will play a pivotal role in driving programme quality, ensuring retention, maintaining model
fidelity, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for interns. Additionally, you will oversee the growth of
our number of programmes, in line with our strategic regional and national plans. You will also
contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, working closely with cross-functional teams
to maximise DFN Project SEARCH’s impact.
Regular travel throughout the UK will be required, with occasional travel to other areas of our delivery.
In addition, occasional international travel may be required, for example to the annual conference in

Role Summary
The purpose of this role is to support and ensure end-to-end delivery across Wales within the Programme and Delivery team. The current focus is within our Creative Careers offer, however, this could evolve in terms of scope to include other flagship programmes in the future. This role will be crucial for liaising with Welsh schools, creative employers, speakers and the wider charity to coordinate and ensure best practices in programmatic delivery, ensuring alignment with programme wide expectations and KPIs. Essentially, this role is the glue between Futures For All, stakeholder outreach and schools’ partners within Wales. The role will be crucial in coordinating and ensuring successful delivery of different programmatic interventions including, but not limited to, school talks, workshops and work experience for young people in Wales. efforts across that nation to successfully provide end-to-end deliver for Wales’s Creative Talks, Workshops and work experiences and achieve the aims.This includes working with the Futures For All programme teams (Work Experience and Speakers for Schools Teams), and our internal Evaluation and Education teams.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic purpose
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Talks and Work Experience opportunities from initial scoping with schools to securing commitments from speakers and employers, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and stakeholder follow up.
- Nurturing relationships with key delivery partners to ensure employers or school introduced to the programme are seamlessly onboarded.
- Working with partners in securing commitments from speakers and employers to deliver talks, workshops and multi-day work experience opportunities.
- Account management and stewarding for speakers and employers throughout their journey.
- Preparing employers and speakers to use all speaker and work experience guidance in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.
- Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of opportunities.

Professional development delivery: Deliver evidence-based CPD, mentoring, and coaching to support practitioners, particularly early-career and out-of-field teachers, to build subject knowledge and confidence in teaching physics in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
Equity and inclusion: Contribute to equity-focused interventions that explore and address systemic and school-level barriers to post-16 physics participation, including unconscious bias and science capital gaps.
Monitoring and reporting: Track and evaluate programme delivery, capturing data on participation, feedback, outcomes, and impact. Contribute to quarterly monitoring reports and support external evaluation.

How will I be working?

The Role:
As a proactive and innovative Project Manager for Professional Development, you will support our CPD team. This new role is pivotal in ensuring effective systems management and record keeping, stakeholder engagement and relationships across various educational projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the management of a large, growing and innovative Schools CPD programme, in person and online
- Manage administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling, and reporting for CPD programmes
- Using tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office suite, MailChimp and WordPress to create and disseminate high-quality educational resources and communications in line with HEP brand guidelines
- Produce content to market and sell our professional development programme to schools in and beyond our membership

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of volunteers across all Hospice roles, including clinical, wellbeing, family support, retail, fundraising, finance, facilities and administrative roles.
- Deliver a high-quality, seamless onboarding experience for volunteer applicants.
- Co-deliver monthly Introduction to Volunteering sessions, including follow-up engagement.
- Maintain effective recruitment pipelines to meet service needs.
- Support with recruitment campaigns for high priority volunteering roles.
Compliance & Governance
- Oversee volunteer compliance, ensuring volunteers, where required:
- Have satisfactory references
- Are DBS-checked
- Complete and refresh mandatory training, including face-to-face safeguarding and relevant onboarding training via departments
- Maintain accurate compliance records within CRM systems.
- Monitor and report on DBS and safeguarding renewals, liaising with volunteers, team leaders and the education team.
- Ensure adherence to Hospice policies, legal requirements and best practice
Volunteer Operations & Service Delivery
- Provide front line guidance and advice on volunteer involvement and best practice to volunteer involving teams.
- Work with education team to co-facilitate Hospice Connections training sessions where required.
- Build strong cross-departmental relationships to align volunteering with organisational priorities.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the volunteer lifecycle and provide guidance and support to managers in planning volunteer requirements, recruitment, onboarding, induction, training, ongoing supervision, recognition, development, issue resolution, and volunteer exit processes.
- Part of the People Team office cover answering telephone, email and in person queries or directing the enquiry to the right place to be resolved. This includes monitoring the volunteering and volunteer reference and volunteer rota inboxes.
- Arrange regular meetings with Hospice volunteer managers to:
- Review volunteer pipelines and activity
- Analyse data and service needs
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and service improvement
- Be a main point of contact for volunteers in key operational roles (e.g. IPU Kitchen, Meet & Greet), including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and ongoing support
- Organise IPU volunteer rota planning and management (forward planning and weekly), ensuring adequate cover and resolving last-minute gaps, arranging shadow shifts and organising mentor allocation.
- Manage and organise tasks for admin volunteers within the Voluntary Services team.
Volunteer Engagement & Experience
- Support with the planning and delivery of an annual programme of volunteer engagement events (e.g. Sunday lunches, feedback forums, seasonal events): Coordinate event logistics including communications, RSVPs, venues, catering and health & safety.
- Actively gather, review and respond to volunteer feedback to continuously improve the volunteer experience.
- Coordinate and support volunteer communications across the organisation, including the production and distribution of the monthly volunteer bulletin and volunteer updates.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and motivating environment for volunteers.
Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy across volunteer systems and records.
- Use data insights to inform planning and improve service delivery.
- Identify and suggest improvements to volunteer processes, including onboarding and rota systems.

As a Sports coach & youth mentor, you'll play a vital role in that journey. Alongside your coaching partner, you'll deliver engaging sports sessions, mentoring and workshops that inspire young people, build trust and help them realise their potential. Whether you're supporting a young person one-to-one, leading a group activity or helping deliver enrichment events, you'll be creating opportunities for young people to succeed.
This is more than a coaching role. It's an opportunity to be a positive role model, build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in the lives of young people across Hastings & Bexhill.
You do not need to know rugby to apply. The rugby side can be taught, and plenty of people in the team started with youth work or mentoring experience rather than a sports coaching background.
Day to day, you’ll work with schools, alternative provision teams and community partners to keep sessions safe, productive and well-organised. You’ll also support holiday activities, career taster days and enrichment trips, giving young people positive things to be part of outside school.
There will be some admin too, including tracking attendance, progress and outcomes. This helps the team see what is working and keep support consistent for the young people taking part.
