We are looking for someone that can lead a team but will also be a fundraiser in their own right, willing to initiate and take on projects. Brief role description:

The Head of International Growth is a new strategic leadership role that will enable parkrun to unlock dynamic, sustainable growth across some of key geographies — currently Europe, Africa, and America, though these may evolve over time. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Global Heads of Commercial, Legal and Governance and Event Delivery and Volunteering, the successful candidate will lead the development and execution of parkrun’s international growth strategy. They will support country managers and regional teams to build scalable, values-led operations that drive participation, social impact, and revenue, while ensuring alignment with parkrun’s global purpose and compliance standards. The role will also oversee market analysis, prioritisation, and partnership development, with accountability for growth KPIs, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable impact across existing and new countries.

This role will:

• Work with country and regional managers to build parkrun’s international strategy, identifying opportunities to grow parkrun both within our existing footprint and also into new countries.

• Develop parkrun’s strategic connectivity and brand awareness in key countries, building advocacy for our vision and purpose.

• Enable sustainable commercial growth by building and delivering revenue strategies tailored to the regional opportunities and overseeing budgets

• Provide inspirational leadership to Country and Regional Managers and advocate for their needs to the Global leadership team. 

• Be an expert at strong relationship building including via virtual channels and be prepared to work flexibly to manage a broad geographic remit.  This will include some travel but much of the work will need to be conducted virtually.

Main responsibilities:

• Strategic Influence & Stature: Drive the overall presence, reputation, and stature of parkrun across North America, Europe and Africa. Champion Parkrun's mission to break down barriers to physical activity, establishing the brand as a recognised and respected leader in community health and wellbeing.

• Strategic Partnerships & Coalitions: Cultivate and secure strategic relationships across commercial, governmental and participation based stakeholders, creating a network of advocates for parkrun’s vision and ambition aligned to strategic aims.

• Revenue Generation & Sustainability: Working with the Global Commercial team, design and execute commercial revenue strategies tailored to North America, Europe and Africa. Identify, negotiate, and secure sustainable funding streams, corporate sponsorships, and grants and foundations which ensure regional financial self-sustainability and fund future international expansion. 

• Participation Growth: Support local teams to hit country participation growth targets and explore approaches to accelerate growth, using data‑driven decision‑making and insight generation to evaluate performance and continuously refine growth approaches across all regions, working closely with the Head of Event Delivery.

• SLT Advocacy & Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the strategic voice for international growth to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Make compelling cases for support for central resource allocation (e.g., technology, communications, operational support) to enable regional success. 

• People Leadership & Staff Performance: Line manage, mentor, and hold  Country Managers and Regional Managers accountable across target countries. Foster a culture of high performance, professional growth, and strategic and values alignment across remote international teams.

• Budget Ownership & Governance: Oversee regional financial health, budget creation, and resource allocation in collaboration with global finance. Maintain strict governance and multi-jurisdictional legal and regulatory compliance across all operating countries within the portfolio.

Desirable experience requirements:    

• Executive Presence: Skilled at developing a clear strategy and advocating for its successful implementation to country boards, Global colleagues and key external stakeholders.

• Senior Strategic & Commercial Leadership: Proven track record of expanding  organisational footprints, stature, and/or brand influence across complex international regions (ideally within Europe, North America and/or Africa).

• High-Level Relationship Management: Extensive experience building strategic, peer-level partnerships with corporate executives, government bodies, media or national sporting organisations.

• Securing Commercial Revenue: Demonstrated success in personally identifying, structuring, and closing revenue-generating partnerships.

NWLLC is a community-based legal practice and a registered charity. We comprise the Brent Community Law Centre and Camden Community Law Centre.

NWLLC now works across northwest London supporting residents to understand and enforce their legal rights.  In doing so, we address the root causes of social injustice – poverty, family breakdown, unemployment and exploitation.

NWLLC provides full legal casework, representation and advice in the following areas of social welfare law – Housing, Immigration & Asylum and Welfare Rights. In 2024-25 we assisted over 3500 people. We represent clients in all courts and tribunals.

We provide outreach advice services in Brent and Camden including Camden Safety Net.

We also provide the housing duty solicitor schemes at Central London Country Court giving emergency representation in possession hearings for rent and owned homes and at the warrant stage for evictions.

To oversee and manage all financial and accounts record keeping and maintain all operations and compliance to ensure the smooth running of a legal practice.

Key Tasks

 Finance

1. Maintain our Quickbooks accounts system/ Clio Case Management System

2. Process payment requests, staff and volunteers expenses and invoices

3. Identify and follow up debtors

4. Monthly reconciliation and bookkeeping of all cards and accounts 

5. Assist with preparation of monthly management, year-end accounts and audit process

6. Work with the Director for the takeover of the calculation and reporting of the taxes owed by the law centre

7. Work with the Director to take over the administration of the NWLLC payroll and pension

8. Responsible for liaison with external accountants and auditors

Legal Practice and Billing

1. Preparing information and submitting for all monthly reports to the Legal Aid Agency, including CWA (Legal Help) and Court Duty submissions

2. Work with the Director to take over the preparation of work in progress reports

3. Work with the Director to prepare and disseminate monthly billing reports

4. Work with the Supervising solicitor and the SMT to identify cases to push through the billing process.

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships. 

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also deliver a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters.   

Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role

The Development Director (New Business) provides strategic leadership for Impetus’ new business development, prospect pipeline and high-value funding opportunities. The postholder will have responsibility for identifying, cultivating and converting new corporate, trust and foundation, and high-net-worth donor relationships, as well as continued relationship management for key, established relationships.

In 25/26, the Philanthropy and Partnerships team generated £11m in philanthropic income, alongside £2.8m in probono contributions. The Development Director will play a key role in delivering Impetus' growth ambitions, helping to increase philanthropic income to £14m by 2029. 

Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the role will translate the fundraising strategy into clear new business priorities, pipeline plans and prospect engagement approaches, ensuring a strong flow of qualified opportunities and sustainable growth in high-value income.

Working closely with colleagues across Philanthropy and Partnerships, the postholder will personally lead and support significant six and seven-figure prospects and strategic funding opportunities, while overseeing the stewardship and retention of current partners. 

Working collaboratively across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team and with colleagues across the organisation, the Development Director will ensure a joined-up approach to donor acquisition, pipeline development, prospect conversion and stewardship, maximising income, partnership value and long-term impact within the agreed fundraising strategy.

Key responsibilities

New Business, Pipeline & Conversion

• Personally lead on six and seven-figure level priority prospects and strategic funding opportunities, managing the full fundraising cycle from qualification to close.
• Work with trustees, senior volunteers, and networks to unlock introductions and new opportunities, providing clear support and follow-up to maximise success.
• Evolve Impetus’ new business strategy, driving the identification, cultivation, and conversion of new high-value donor and partner relationships.
• Translate Impetus’ impact, evidence base, and venture philanthropy model into compelling propositions for new audiences and sectors.

Strategic Relationship Management & Growth 

• Own and oversee select donor relationships at six and seven-figure levels within the philanthropy portfolio, ensuring high levels of retention, satisfaction, trust, income growth and long-term value.
• Ensure your donors receive timely, consistent, high-quality and relevant engagement and communications throughout their relationship with Impetus.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth transition between new business, and long-term stewardship.

STOP THE TRAFFIK is a global organisation working to prevent human trafficking and exploitation. We bring together data, intelligence, technology and partnerships to build a deeper understanding of how exploitation operates, where risks are emerging and who is most at risk. This knowledge informs our prevention campaigns and programmes, which use targeted, evidence-led approaches to reach people with relevant information and support before exploitation occurs.

Safer Futures is one of the major pieces of work within STOP THE TRAFFIK’s prevention programme, focused on preventing child exploitation. It brings together a number of connected areas of prevention activity, including regional campaigns, national awareness activity and a youth-centred reporting channel.

Like our wider prevention projects, the work is informed by data, intelligence and evidence about the risks facing communities and the audiences we are seeking to reach. In this context, the It combines targeted communications, partnerships, technology, safeguarding and learning to develop and deliver practical prevention activity.

The work will involve collaboration across STOP THE TRAFFIK, our wider UK network and external partners, with learning and intelligence generated through delivery helping to strengthen the programme over time.

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Safer Futures, ensuring activity remains on track, aligned to outcomes and responsive to learning throughout delivery.

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships.

About this role

The Development Director (Philanthropy) provides strategic leadership across Impetus’ philanthropy and stewardship portfolio, with responsibility for relationship management, renewal, growth and selected new business activity. The postholder will work with high-value funders, including corporate partners, trusts and foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.

In 25/26, the Philanthropy and Partnerships team generated £11m in philanthropic income, alongside £2.8m in pro bono contributions. The Development Director will play a key role in delivering Impetus’ growth ambitions, supporting the increase in philanthropic income to £14m by 2029. 

Working closely with the Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the role will translate the fundraising strategy into clear stewardship, renewal, relationship-growth and selected new business plans, ensuring strong donor retention, high-quality engagement and sustainable growth in high-value income.

Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the postholder will oversee the donor lifecycle across the philanthropy portfolio, with particular focus on strategic stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and the effective transition of selected prospects into long-term donor relationships. They will personally lead and support significant six and seven-figure donor relationships and selected funding opportunities, while working with colleagues to ensure the philanthropy pipeline, stewardship plans and account management disciplines are strong.

Working collaboratively across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team and with colleagues across the organisation, the Development Director will ensure a joined-up approach to donor stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and selected donor acquisition, maximising income, partnership value and long-term impact within the agreed fundraising strategy.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Management & Growth

• Own and oversee strategically significant donor and partner relationships at six and seven-figure levels, ensuring high levels of retention, satisfaction, trust, income growth and long-term value.

About the Role

The Safeguarding, Risk & Incidents Manager leads the operational delivery of Refugee Council's safeguarding, incidents, complaints, risk and data protection functions, ensuring concerns are managed effectively, risks are identified and mitigated, and robust processes are in place to support safe, compliant and high-quality services. The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take a key management role within Happy Healthy You, a community-rooted organisation delivering culturally grounded health and wellbeing activity across Bradford, while playing a significant role in the delivery of the five-year Bradford Health Inequities Programme (Bhip).

You will work across HHU’s established programmes and community activity while helping to develop and strengthen the organisation as it grows. Alongside this, you will have a significant role in Bhip, supporting an ambitious programme that brings together communities, the VCSE sector and health and care systems to address health inequities driven by structural racism and discrimination.

The role offers a distinctive opportunity to connect strong community-based delivery with wider change, helping ensure that what is learned through HHU’s trusted relationships and Bhip’s work leads to better practice, stronger services, and demonstrable outcomes for communities.

You will join at a crucial point in the development of both HHU and Bhip, with genuine scope to shape how programmes are delivered, developed, evaluated, and improved as the work grows.

About you / The Role

You will be an experienced and capable programme manager with a strong track record of managing community-based programmes, activities, services, and teams, with the ability to design, develop and implement plans and projects that achieve effective delivery and measurable outcomes.

You will understand the realities of delivering culturally grounded health and wellbeing activity alongside Global Majority communities and be committed to addressing health inequities, structural racism, and discrimination.

You will be equally comfortable supporting the Bhip Programme Lead, HHU’s CEO and senior management with organisational priorities, managing staff and resources, and working alongside community teams to ensure delivery is well coordinated, responsive and of a consistently high standard. You will have a strong focus on evaluation, ensuring HHU and the Bhip programme can demonstrate the outcomes, impact, and value of its work.

As a key member of the Bhip team, you will lead the operational management of HHU’s contribution, ensuring its community engagement, co-design, Insight to Action and related activity is effectively planned, delivered, monitored, evaluated, and continuously improved.

You will understand how HHU’s existing trusted community activity provides an important route through which communities can engage with and shape Bhip’s aims and work. HHU’s established community delivery footprint will provide a key route for Bhip’s structural literacy, listening, story capture and co-design work, enabling community insight and stories to be translated into action and system change.

You will bring strong people management, organisation, and judgement, with the ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and maintain effective relationships across HHU, Bhip, communities and partner organisations

Salary: £17,046.54 per annum (This is equivalent to a full-time effective salary of £28,410.90). We are an accredited member of the Living Wage Foundation.

Location: Unseen’s head office in Bristol with ad hoc UK travel (Hybrid approach with some working from home days. A degree of flexibility will be required). Please note this role requires the postholder to attend the Bristol office at least once a week.

Contract type: Permanent – This role is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (funding secured until 2029).

Hours: Part-time – 22.5 hours per week (based on a full-time week of 37.5 hours). Hours to be worked Mon-Friday 9am-5pm, with a requirement to work on Wednesdays.

Unseen is working towards a world without slavery. We provide safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. We also run the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, businesses, governments, other charities, and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good. 

We draw on our expertise as a frontline organisation to produce evidenced strategies to protect survivors and eradicate exploitation. The Policy & Research team collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify good practice that informs our work and wider responses to modern slavery. Central to our work is the Unseen Survivor Consultants; lived experience experts who volunteer their time and insights to incorporate survivor voice into research design and policy recommendations.

Purpose of the role:

The Survivor Involvement Coordinator will support the continuous improvement of Unseen’s service delivery and support our research and policy influence work through the facilitation of the Unseen Survivor Consultant group.

You will work closely with Unseen’s Policy & Research team and have regular interactions with staff across Unseen’s wider teams including Business Services, Helpline Services, Support Services, Fundraising, Communications, and Operations. You will also support external researchers and stakeholders to collaborate with the Unseen Survivor Consultants.

Our Community Projects Worker will work with families and residents across the community to develop positive activities and services which promote a sense of belonging and help break the cycle of disadvantage.

We’re looking for an individual who has a passion for supporting families and adults, and developing community led activities. The role will involve supporting families and adults in the community, but also families in our local Oasis academies, inspiring and enabling local people to be an active voice and developer in their local area.

· To work with the Youth & Community Lead and other team members/partners as required to create and implement a strategy and vision for our food insecurity work.

· Ensuring effective financial management and income generation to sustain and expand services

· Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful community projects.

· Work directly with families and the wider community in a non-judgemental way empowering them and their families to get the most out of the opportunities available.

· Developing and maintaining monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of activities.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other statutory requirements.

The successful post holder must have:

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.

· Good standard of basic education, including English and Maths Level 2

· Proven experience of community work as a volunteer or professionally

· Experience of managing and working with volunteers

· Ability to build long lasting, positive relationships with both young people and adults
