The Learning and Communities Officer will help bring AmplifyChange's community of Grantee Partners together, creating opportunities for organisations and activists working on sexual and reproductive health and rights to connect, share their expertise and learn from one another.
You'll play a hands-on role in shaping and delivering AmplifyChange's learning and community offer. From building an active online community and hosting engaging digital learning sessions to supporting in-country convenings and developing accessible learning resources, you'll help create spaces where Grantee Partners can exchange ideas, build relationships and share what works.
You'll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse network of Grantee Partners, facilitators and technical experts across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East, helping people share their knowledge and learn from one another. You'll also work closely with colleagues across AmplifyChange to bring partner experience and learning into the organisation through Grantee Partner showcases, case studies, impact briefs and other engaging content.
This is a varied and creative role for someone who enjoys bringing people together and turning ideas and experience into engaging learning opportunities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning and Community Engagement
Create opportunities for Grantee Partners to connect, share their expertise and learn from one another, building an active and welcoming community across AmplifyChange's network.
- Develop and coordinate an annual learning and ommunity engagement plan in collaboration with AmplifyChange colleagues and partners, ensuring activities align with organisational priorities and Grantee Partner needs.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Head of Grant Making. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model where staff are expected to come into the office one day per week.

Purpose of the Job
We are looking for the Senior Volunteer Managerto play a key role in working as part of a team to grow and improve our volunteer programme. Thousands of individuals volunteer regularly across Felix’s four depots, three food production sites and Felix’s UK’s three regional centres and, with a smaller number in Fundraising and other teams. About the role
You will be playing a pivotal role in the senior leadership of the fundraising directorate, working alongside the Head of Relationship Fundraising and Partnerships. Giving supporters a great experience will drive you and being a fan of yellow and helicopters will probably be essential.

Reporting to the Head of Kent, you'll provide leadership and oversight across a portfolio of community services, ensuring they are safe, high quality, financially sustainable and fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
Working closely with Service Managers, you'll drive continuous improvement, champion Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), lead on safeguarding and quality assurance, and help shape the future development of services across the region.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and support Service Managers across residential, supported living and outreach services.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring services consistently deliver outstanding outcomes.
- Promote person-centred, strengths-based and neuro-affirming practice.
- Lead on safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
- Support services through CQC inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor performance, budgets and service quality across multiple locations.
- Build positive relationships with commissioners, regulators and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to service development, sustainability and future growth opportunities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues feel empowered to succeed.
About You:
You'll be an experienced leader within adult social care who enjoys supporting others to thrive and is passionate about delivering exceptional services.
You'll bring:
- A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience managing regulated community services.
- Experience leading managers across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and relevant legislation.
- Experience managing budgets and service performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- A passion for person-centred, rights-based support and continuous improvement.
- An understanding of autism, learning disabilities, mental health and Positive Behaviour Support.
