Main Purpose Of Job:
This role is responsible for delivering a safe and supportive service to all residents living at O’Hanlon House in Oxford. Manage challenging situations in line with procedures and to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
To participate in handovers at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring that information is properly recorded and passed on where appropriate and relevant and in a timely fashion.
Ensure that IT systems are updated as required and concise record keeping is completed promptly.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, relatives, carers, professionals, commissioners, contractors and the local community.
Ensure clients are aware of and support them to maximise their opportunity to be involved in Client Participation.
To undertake any other duties that can be reasonably required to meet the operational needs of Homeless Oxfordshire.

Main Purpose Of Job:
Project 41 accommodates individuals within the homeless pathway and as part of Oxfordshire’s Homelessness Alliance. The successful candidate will understand the trauma people using our services have experienced, and have a compassionate and assertive approach to building relationships. We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Stopover Supported Housing service in Brighton & Hove.
Stopover provides women-only supported accommodation for young women aged 16–25, including young women who have recently become mothers. Our services provide different levels of support as young women move towards independence, helping them develop the skills, confidence and stability they need to sustain their own tenancy.

About the Role
In all services, Peripatetic workers provide non-judgmental, confidential, and psychologically informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical activity includes risk assessments, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans. Other roles require house management, outreach and health and safety tasks.
Peripatetic workers will work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services, which offers our Peripatetic workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.
About You
The Peripatetic Team is dynamic you will enter services at short notice to provide a continued high-quality level of support. Our colleagues bring a wide range of transferable skills and different experiences to the team that informs our practice and work with survivors.
You’ll be a passionate advocate who understands the importance of working in a psychologically informed way with both survivors and colleagues, and you will be willing to continuously learn and develop their skills. You have a good understanding of impact that violence against women and girls can have on women with intersecting identities. While prior experience of working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not an essential requirement.
Additional Information
Our Peripatetic workers are required to work across London and will move around these boroughs– Barnet, Bexley, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington, Lambeth, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Westminster, Waltham Forest and may be on site full time or agile work.
Working patterns are typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm however this role includesweekend cover and shift pattern work. Hybrid working may be available in some services, but it is not possible for all.

About the Role
As a Support Worker in a Children’s Home, you will provide direct support and care for our young people, who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions. Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged between12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our those in our care are safe, providing support, liaison with other external professionals and completion of support documents to record information.
