We are recruiting a Queer Space Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Greenwich’s Queer Space. Queer Space is for LGBTQIA+ individuals (18+) who live or have a GP in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and are looking to connect with others and get support for their mental health through engaging with peers.

As this service is peer-led, we are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual, with lived experience of LGBTQIA+ communities and mental health challenges, to coordinate the programme. This will include developing the service in line with service users' needs, facilitating the fortnightly sessions, and leading on project management and administration. Alongside this, we would like the Coordinator to recruit and supervise peer support volunteers to support with group facilitation.

You will have experience in group development, facilitation, and volunteer management, and an excellent understanding of service user engagement, particularly with the LGBTQIA+ community. You will be highly organised and proficient with case management tasks and project management administration.

Groups will be held at the Forum at Greenwich community centre and will take place twice a month, once in the evening and once in the afternoon. 

The role is for two 7.5 hour days per month, until 31 March 2027. 

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40+ year history. Over the last two and a half years, tens of thousands of new supporters have joined MAP, driving significant growth in income across individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners. The Supporter Database Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our supporter data is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. Managing the day‑to‑day operation of MAP’s supporter database, you’ll lead a small, specialist team and work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Finance, Campaigns, and Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) to ensure income is processed correctly, data standards are upheld, and our systems support effective fundraising, campaigning and supporter care.
 

MAP is currently embedding a new CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365). While CRM system ownership sits within the DDT team, this role will be central to ensuring the database works for users, data quality remains high, and operational processes are continuously improved.

Myaware is a charity dedicated to ensuring that all people living with or alongside myasthenia can live well, now and in the future. Due to demands on the service we are looking to expand our crucial support team which has provided an exciting opportunity to join the team.

You will be working with our dedicated support team to advise and support our members, over the phone, via email, in online sessions and at conferences and support groups in the community. Providing a listening ear and advice on living with myasthenia is essential as they navigate their diagnosis journey and learn how to live well with the condition.

Delivering support and advice for our members also involves using our CRM database and proactively maintaining and increasing our membership. It requires ongoing essential awareness raising of our work through annual initiatives and campaigns and through growing relationships with Healthcare Professionals and other neurological organisations.

Who are we?

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia. 

We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition. 

We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors. 

Members of myaware have full access to a wide range of support services and events including our specialist  welfare rights advisor. 

Myaware supports people with myasthenia and their families.  We campaign for better medical services for people with myasthenia and work to inform medical professionals. 

The myasthenias are a group of neuromuscular conditions. They are rare but also manageable and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality. Myasthenia gravis, ocular myasthenia and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome are autoimmune conditions whereas congenital myasthenic syndrome is caused by an inherited genetic fault. It is thought that there are approximately 20,000 people currently living with myasthenia in the UK.

Working across departments, you’ll embed a collaborative and insight-led approach to donor retention and supporter experience. 

You will lead the strategic planning and delivery of supporter development activity, from multi-channel appeals to tailored stewardship, and helping to grow income from regular giving and repeat giving audiences, as well as collaborating with Acquisition and Mid-Value and Legacy teams to grow a sustainable income pipeline. You’ll also help build the business case for future supporter Development investment and flex to support the wider Individual Giving and Supporter Experience team as priorities shift.

You have collective responsibility with your lead peers in the expansion of year-round campaigns, Regular Giving and Legacy expressions of interest. These are our team goals, in which we all play our part.

Under One Sky works alongside people experiencing homelessness to provide practical support, human connection, and pathways toward greater stability. 

Lighthouse creates the conditions for people who have experienced homelessness to move beyond survival and begin rebuilding their lives. Over twelve weeks, small cohorts come together in a consistent, supportive space where confidence grows, relationships are rebuilt, and people reconnect with their sense of direction and possibility.

Through outreach, partnership working, and volunteer-led programmes, we aim to create spaces where people are treated with dignity, trust, and consistency.

The role

The Programme Manager leads the operational delivery of Lighthouse, ensuring the programme runs safely, reliably, and to a consistently high standard across the programme week. This role sits at the centre of the work - creating the conditions that allow Lighthouse to function with both structure and humanity.

Joint responsibilities

Together the Managers ensure that Lighthouse operates with consistency, safety and care:

• Participants experience Lighthouse as a safe and welcoming space where they are treated with dignity and respect
• Delivery remains trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in Under One Sky’s values of presence, trust, and follow-through
• Lighthouse sessions are appropriately staffed, with volunteers and team members supported to deliver confidently and reliably
• Safeguarding is embedded into day-to-day delivery, with clear processes for responding to disclosures, incidents, risk, and vulnerability
• Participant needs, concerns, and wellbeing are recognised early and responded to appropriately
• Volunteers and staff are supported to hold clear boundaries while maintaining compassion and respect
• Communication and follow-through are strong so participants do not experience gaps, confusion, or inconsistent responses
• Lighthouse maintains a high standard of care, professionalism, and stability across the programme week

Culture and approach

The Managers help shape the tone of Lighthouse through calm, grounded leadership and consistent presence within the programme.

They help ensure the Lighthouse remains a place where participants feel:

• seen and respected
• safe and protected
• met with consistency rather than unpredictability
• supported without judgement
• able to access help with dignity

They create the conditions for volunteers and staff to provide meaningful support while ensuring Lighthouse remains structured, accountable, and deeply human.
