About the role
This is a senior role working across the whole Charity, tasked with growing public awareness and support for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Leading on marketing, PR, brand and design, this role will manage relations with media, stakeholders, supporters and the wider public, creating and delivering engaging campaigns, generating support for the Charity, demonstrating impact and increasing income generation.
This is an exciting time to join the Charity as it moves to the next stage in its growth. As part of a busy and ambitious team, this role would suit an experienced, proactive and creative individual with a talent for storytelling and a knowledge of data-driven marketing.
You’ll have strong commercial knowledge, with the ability to apply this to the charity sector; adding value to our existing fundraising activities and impact reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
· Create and deliver a comprehensive marketing & public relations strategy for the Charity to increase levels of awareness, reaching and engaging audiences.
· Build brand awareness, promote income generation and communicate activities and impact.
· Identify, create and maximise media, PR and marketing opportunities for the Charity to achieve strong positive coverage in print, broadcast and online media.
· Utilise the full mix of communications and marketing tools, including media and public relations, internal communications, brand marketing, advertising, campaigns, direct marketing, digital and social media and production of materials.
· Lead and give strategic marketing direction to the Charity team, taking responsibility for all marketing activities within the Charity to ensure consistent messaging.
· Identify and develop key relationships with journalists and influencers across a broad
range of media.
· Lead, manage and plan key Charity marketing and communications initiatives such as the annual Glow Green Night Walk and annual ball.
· Be responsible for brand management, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications and adherence to brand and corporate identity guidelines.
· Oversee the design, production and dissemination of marketing and communications collateral as required, including annual reports and impact statements.
· Oversee the design and production of all printed materials for Charity events to ensure consistency of brand and messaging.
· Identify and manage outside agencies where necessary to add value to the role and produce, for example, video and photographic content.
· Report to the Chief Executive on impact and coverage.
· Manage crisis communications if necessary.
· Liaise with the Communications team of The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity NHS Foundation Trust to provide a joined-up comms and PR strategy for joint ventures.
· Manage staff within the Marketing and Individual Giving team.

What does this role do?
As Strategic Communications Manager, you’ll:
- build strategic plans for key projects, scoping, and planning for communications across the marketing mix (paid, owned, and earned channels), as we strive to improve animal welfare in the UK and worldwide,
- shape key messages for campaigns, often distilling complex information into clear narratives, using evidence-based messaging frameworks,

We’re looking for a Public Fundraising Manager, who will be responsible for the delivery of our face-to-face fundraising across the UK.
What does this role do?
As Public Fundraising Manager, you will:
- manage the successful development and delivery of public fundraising campaigns, working closely with delivery partners to bring our campaigns to locations across the country, from supermarkets and county fairs to door-to-door and street fundraising,

About the team
The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships.
The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also deliver a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters.
Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role
The Engagement Manager is an experienced professional who plays a key role in supporting donor engagement across all Impetus donors, enabling the team to provide best practice and high-quality donor stewardship and a platform for the renewal of key philanthropic gifts.
The Engagement function is responsible for pro bono and volunteering. Reporting to the Head of Engagement, the Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the volunteering programme, ensuring it delivers high-quality opportunities, contributes to agreed KPIs and evolves in line with the needs of funders and the organisation.
The postholder will account manage key relationships with mid-level supporters and internal stakeholders, working across teams to deliver meaningful and well-coordinated engagement opportunities. They will contribute to identifying and developing new opportunities for the volunteering and pro bono programmes that respond to funder interests and portfolio needs.
In addition, they will manage relationships with mid-level pro bono supporters, taking them through the full pro bono journey from project matching and onboarding through to stewardship and ongoing support.
This is a cross-functional role that collaborates closely with the Investment team, wider Philanthropy team, Public Affairs team and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and excellent donor experience.
Key responsibilities
Volunteering programme
- Account manage relationships linked to volunteering across corporates, individuals and grant-making trusts, ensuring engagement is maintained and escalating strategic issues or risks where appropriate.
- Support or lead meetings, alongside fundraising account managers where appropriate, with funders to understand their volunteering interests and contribute to the development of suitable engagement opportunities.

What You'll Do
As Senior Remediation Compliance Manager, you'll lead a specialist compliance function at the centre of Peabody's Fire Remediation Programme, overseeing a team of 15 through two Fire Remediation Managers. You'll be responsible for delivering critical resident assurance programmes, managing complex compliance risks and ensuring robust governance across a large and varied property portfolio.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for the Deed of Certificate programme, landlord certificate production, fire safety compliance case management and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with senior leaders across Peabody, helping shape decisions that directly impact residents, leaseholders and the wider business.
What You'll Do
- Drive the delivery of Peabody's fire remediation compliance and resident assurance programmes across a large residential portfolio
- Take ownership of the leaseholder Deed of Certificate programme, ensuring delivery against milestones, timescales and compliance requirements
- Oversee landlord certificate production, supporting property sales and protecting key organisational income streams
- Lead resident and leaseholder engagement activity, ensuring communications are clear, timely and customer focused
- Provide expert oversight of fire safety compliance matters, including EWS1 enquiries, lender assurance and legal case management
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, managing agents, solicitors, local authorities and other external partners
- Identify emerging risks and provide clear, data-led reporting and recommendations to senior leaders and executives
- Ensure accurate governance, reporting and audit trails across all areas of responsibility
- Manage budgets, service charge considerations and financial reporting across key remediation programmes
- Champion high standards of compliance while delivering excellent outcomes for residents and leaseholders
What You'll Bring
- Experience leading teams and developing managers within housing, property, compliance, asset management or a similarly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant matters, leasehold management and property compliance requirements
- Experience managing complex programmes involving case management, compliance, resident engagement or large-scale data delivery
- A strong understanding of fire safety, building safety or regulated property services, with the ability to apply legislation and policy in practice
- Proven ability to manage risk, performance and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and engage at all levels
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to provide meaningful insight and recommendations to senior decision-makers
- Commercial and financial awareness, with experience managing budgets, service charges or financial reporting
- A proactive, solutions focused approach and a passion for delivering excellent outcomes for residents
