Main Responsibilities of the Job

• To provide support and assistance during journeyspick up and drop of duties at the commencement and end of sessions at our day centres.

• Through partnership, support and develop peoples skills, confidence and interests as part of a multi-disciplinary day service offer.

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon. The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis.

In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support
• Provide clinical supervision to the team
• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for our residents with mental health and complex needs
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for residents psychological care as a care coordinator within a multidisciplinary team
• Formulate and implement plans for various therapy routes and management of assessing mental health conditions based upon appropriate conceptual frameworks and evidence-based practices

About You

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to proactively encourage, take leadership and ownership for creating a psychologically informed environment. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively within the organisation and with external partners, collaborating with external stakeholders regularly in a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to utilise your own expertise and support in empowering the wider team to enhance their skills to deliver a service which is supportive, safe, and in line with best practice for the organisation and external regulatory bodies. 

• HCPC Registration is essential
• Post-graduate doctoral level training as a Registered Practitioner Psychologist including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology
• Previous experience working as a qualified clinical and/or forensic psychologist, including working with people with complex backgrounds/needs and a good understanding of the sector we run our services in
• Ability to teach, train, consult, and deliver clinical supervision
• Understanding of criminology, psychology, and behavioural patterns, and how they link to different behaviours and engagement
• Ability to understand and apply safeguarding protocols as they arise
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility in working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

Wandsworth Wellbeing Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service, offering support in foodbanks and Primary Care settings and we are delighted to be hiring an additional Wellbeing Coordinator to join our supportive and successful team.

New funding has enabled us to create this post which will focus on increasing our capacity and inclusivity to provide emotional and practical support to the most vulnerable foodbank guests, who present with complex needs. This will involve providing a short-term intervention of up to two sessions, making safeguarding and other referrals where appropriate, liaising with GP’s and improving access to services.

The other facet to the role will involve building new links with marginalised communities in Wandsworth, such as Refugee and Asylum Seekers, people with substance misuse, victims of domestic violence and the LGBTQ+ community. The goal is to reduce health inequalities linked to racism and all forms of discrimination.

Contract:  Part time, one-year contract, 2.5 days per week (18.75 hours) 

Salary:  £14,000-£16,000 per annum (£28,000-£32,000 FTE (depending on experience))

The Brent Centre for Young People 

The Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP) is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 800 young people a year with a wide range of issues. The Role

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SaLT who is passionate about transforming children’s life chances and is keen to lead and grow a Speech and Language Therapy service in the field of Social Emotional Mental Health needs.

The children we typically support are those with mild to moderate social communication needs. These are the children that don’t meet the criteria for community paediatric and CAMHS services and are often at significant risk of developing mental health and behavioural difficulties later on in life. We also offer EHCP work for more complex cases. 

In this role you will be working operationally and strategically. Drawing on your experience as a SaLT, alongside your excellent communication and mentoring skills, you will manage a team of SaLTs ensuring that high-quality Speech and Language Therapy is delivered across our partner schools and support the oversight of the SaLT trainee model, ensuring strong relationships with training providers and high-quality trainee placements.

You will also lead the SaLT service’s strategic growth and development, working with the Clinical Manager, Clinical Director and Director of the Schools Programme to expand the service across more schools, develop our offer and model, and respond to external opportunities as they arise.

We are now recruiting IPS Employment Advisors to join our IPS service to join our Kingston & Sutton team. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment. Please note that if you have previously applied for this role, we will not be considering repeat applications on this occasion.

If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. • A genuine desire to support people with mental health support needs and/or learning disabilities to achieve their employment goals. 

• Motivation to help people from all backgrounds move into meaningful work. 

• Confidence speaking with a wide range of people, from clients to employers. 

• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and manage your workload. 

• Willingness to learn the IPS model and become confident approaching employers.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients, supporting them to sustain their tenancies and successfully settle into their new homes. You will work closely with individuals to help them access employment and education opportunities, and connect with appropriate services to address mental health needs, financial challenges, and substance or alcohol-related issues.

Working in this role, your key responsibilities will be to:

• To use a range of specialist assessment and personalised support planning tools to engage clients in the assessment and support planning process.
• To work with clients in producing person-centred support plans and ensuring that case reviews are carried out, support plans are implemented and adequate case records are maintained.
• To assess client risk and develop risk management strategies with the client and other relevant services.
• To work with a range of agencies to ensure all clients have access to relevant services including both statutory and non-statutory support.
• To provide specialist advice to clients on housing, health, welfare benefit claims and other issues as necessary.

Dose of Nature is transforming the UK’s approach to mental health by placing nature at the heart of mental health interventions.

We deliver clinically led, volunteer-powered nature prescriptions that achieve clinically measurable outcomes. Independent research, including a two-year study with the London School of Economics, has demonstrated statistically significant improvements in wellbeing, life satisfaction and purpose among participants.

Dose of Nature currently operates with approximately £500k annual income. As we scale our partnership and membership models, we aim to grow this to c.£800k per year over the next three years, enabling sustainable national delivery and increased access for communities across the UK.

The Role

This is a key fundraising role within a small and collaborative charity team.

As Fundraising Lead, you will play an important part in developing and delivering a diversified fundraising pipeline, with a particular focus on trusts and foundations, alongside philanthropy and selected partnership opportunities.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Growth & Strategy, who leads overall fundraising strategy and senior relationships, while you focus on driving day-to-day fundraising activity, pipeline development and funder engagement.

This role would suit an experienced fundraiser who enjoys both planning and delivery; from researching opportunities to developing strong proposals and stewarding funder relationships.

About You

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a strong track record in trusts and foundations fundraising.

You are likely to:

• Have demonstrable experience securing funding from trusts and foundations
• Be confident developing strong funding proposals and reports
• Have experience managing or contributing to fundraising pipelines
• Be organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Build effective and professional relationships with funders
• Be motivated by improving mental health outcomes and social impact

Experience in health, mental health or community sectors may be helpful but is not essential.

Our family women refuge's offer holistic support in order to empower women and their children who have experienced trauma to lead their recovery and gain the skills and confidence to move on safely. The Team Manager is responsible for the operational running and strategic direction of the refuge. Providing line management and leadership to the staff team, leading on contract and compliance and the safety, security and maintenance of the refuge, ensuring that the building aligns with our PIPE (Psychologically Informed Physical Environment) building standards and rental income is secured.

The Team Manager plays a central role in ensuring the refuge is a safe, trauma-informed, and welcoming space for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. They promote an inclusive, anti-racist, and feminist approach while upholding Hestia's values of respect, dedication, and collaboration. Core responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day service delivery, ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols, and facilitating the safe transition of service users. The manager ensures the team delivers high-quality, person-centred support, particularly for individuals with complex or intersectional needs.

In terms of operational and building management, the Team Manager is responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the refuge in line with health and safety and PIPE (Psychologically Informed Physical Environment) standards. This includes managing relationships with landlords and housing teams, authorising repairs, handling rent collection and arrears, and addressing any security concerns. They also oversee the accurate and timely turnaround of vacant units and uphold positive community relations to ensure the refuge remains a secure and respected environment.

The role also involves leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring all staff are well-supported through supervision, reflective practice, and training opportunities. The manager upholds staffing levels, supports volunteers and students, and manages performance and conduct issues where necessary. Quality assurance and compliance duties include monitoring performance against KPIs, using systems like INFORM and Power BI, handling feedback and complaints, and ensuring financial accountability. They also represent Hestia in strategic planning, external networks, and multi-agency partnerships to strengthen service delivery and community integration.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate should possess a solid general education, ideally with Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. They should either hold a SafeLives Service Manager qualification or be willing to work towards it. Experience in supervising staff and delivering high-quality support to individuals with diverse needs and risks is essential, as is a strong understanding of risk assessment and management in domestic abuse contexts. A good grasp of performance monitoring, welfare benefits, housing legislation—particularly the rights of domestic abuse survivors under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021—is also required.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong background in working within domestic abuse services, whether in the community or in a refuge setting. They must understand and value co-production, ensuring services are developed in partnership with those who use them. Effective communication skills are key, along with confidence in using IT systems such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Power BI. A clear understanding of safeguarding practices and health and safety legislation is crucial, with the ability to implement relevant policies effectively.

The role demands emotional resilience and the ability to work under pressure, especially in crisis situations involving traumatised or vulnerable women and children. A strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practices is essential, as is the ability to work independently within established policies and procedures. Flexibility and the ability to travel within the borough and beyond when required are also necessary for this position.
