In 18 years, we have established more than 360 partnerships across the UK with a common aim: to empower local communities to develop evidence-based strategies to tackle underage drinking.

Using a tried and tested model to tackle underage drinking and provide positive alternative activities for children, Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) supports local partnerships of councils, police, retailers, schools and health providers to reduce the problems associated with underage drinking both for individuals and communities.

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Finance & Governance Manager who will play a key part in a small, close-knit head team. The successful candidate will need to be both hands-on and collaborative, working closely with the head office team, supporting our eight regional advisers, and supporting the Board on finance and governance updates.

This role would suit someone who:

• Is technically strong in finance but comfortable working in a small, agile environment.
• Enjoys combining finance with governance and organisational support.
• Is hands-on, detail-oriented and proactive.
• Takes pride in clear, professional presentation of financial information.
• Is comfortable as an integral part of a small team rather than operating at arm’s length.

About the role

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North East England or Yorkshire region, which includes North, South, East and West Yorkshire, Teesside, County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. There will be occasional travel around these areas, and you may be required to travel at short notice for face-to-face meetings.

About the team

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the Northeast and Yorkshire, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a team 8, which includes a Regional Casework Manager and a Regional Manager for Casework and Community Engagement.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing, benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the Northeast and Yorkshire would be valuable.

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Life After Stroke Service based across Cornwall.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: S11376 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based, Mid Cornwall and West Cornwall. However, Frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week x 2 posts available (one is a maternity cover contract)

Salary: Circa £19,400 per annum (FTE circa £28,300 per annum)

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. Our services are contracted; we currently have funding for these contracts until 31st March 2027

The Role

The service aims to identify and provide key worker support to meet the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway. Providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

The Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising and Strategy

• Work with the Strategic Lead to develop and implement a fundraising strategy, including agreed income targets)
• Proactively build and manage a solid pipeline of funding applications and approaches.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing funders, including corporates, trusts & foundations, high-net-worth individuals and the statutory sector.
• Work with the Strategic Lead to identify and take opportunities to engage and develop relationships with Merton’s businesses and High Net Worth individuals.
• Work with the Merton Connected team to explore how to maximise sector benefit from corporate volunteering and in-kind support.
• Write compelling funding applications and manage reporting requirements.

• Promote Merton Giving to stakeholders through producing promotional material, maintaining the website, and social media
• Run events and identify opportunities to promote Merton Giving, especially to businesses and HNWs

Partnership Development

• Work with the Strategic Lead to develop partnerships, and identify opportunities for added value and mutual benefit, such as promoting Merton Giving through the Council’s payroll giving scheme.

Additional Responsibilities

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing income exceeding £300,000 a year from a diverse range of sources (corporates, trusts, individuals, and statutory sector).

This Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & Foundations) role will be responsible for securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts working in partnership with senior stakeholders of the University. They will use their fundraising experience and communication skills to secure philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5mil level from Trusts & Foundations (T&Fs), working in partnership with senior stakeholders on their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s College London.

The postholder will help to enable the University to deliver world-leading research, education, and societal impact, translating complex academic priorities into compelling funding opportunities for T&Fs in the UK and internationally. They will be part of a team playing a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropy income, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.

The successful candidate will lead on cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of high value T&F prospects and donors, developing long term, strategic relationships that result in philanthropic gifts. Working in close partnership with senior academic and clinical leaders, you will shape and articulate funding propositions that resonate with philanthropic partners and align with King’s institutional and campaign priorities.

Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new prospects; developing engagement plans; leading on the development of funding proposals; and stewardship of existing donors. This role will suit candidates with experience in raising five and six figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively manage a portfolio of T&F prospects (£50,000+ gift capacity) on behalf of the University
• Ensure that effective cultivation strategies are in place to grow the donor community to KCL’s Faculties and the wider University
• Hold regular face-to-face/virtual donor visits and bring prospects/donors closer to the organisation through meaningful engagement

• Build strong working relationships with senior academic/clinicians, and Faculty leadership to coordinate the cultivation and stewardship of prospective and existing funders, briefing and supporting senior staff to communicate with funders on your behalf
• Provide advice, guidance and constructive feedback to senior stakeholders on major gifts fundraising success and ensure a culture of philanthropy is fostered
• Work collaboratively across Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement in particular with the wider philanthropy team. Work closely with prospect research, advancement writing, events, alumni relations, donor relations and gift implementation teams to develop and enhance philanthropic fundraising opportunities
• Accurately record prospect information in the fundraising database

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager with a health research charity on a part-time (0.6 FTE), permanent basis. Embedding Our Behaviour Change Framework & Measurement System

• Help us put our newly launched Behaviour Change Framework and Measurement System into practice across the organisation

• Support the setting of baselines and targets for our five-year OKRs, and define the year-to-year milestones that will track our progress

This is a rewarding and varied frontline role where no two days are the same. You will be involved in rescuing and supporting vulnerable animals, coordinating veterinary treatment and ongoing care, supporting fostering and rehoming pathways, responding to welfare concerns and helping deliver community welfare initiatives across the Branch area.

You will work closely with members of the public, volunteers, fosterers, veterinary partners, local Inspectorate teams and external agencies to help deliver high-quality welfare support to animals in need. Our charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that provides a welcoming ‘Home from Home’ where families with a sick child in hospital can stay. But we’re more than bricks and mortar, our friendly, caring staff are there to support families when they really need it.

Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. Providing around 3,500 families a year with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the hospital means that they can be by their sick child’s side and have one less thing to worry about.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding community fundraising role, focused on building strong relationships and delivering income growth across the South.

You will engage and support individuals, schools, community groups and local businesses to fundraise, delivering excellent stewardship and supporter care.

You’ll recruit participants for both ‘run your own’ and third-party events, while developing long-term relationships including with families connected to the charity.

Working collaboratively with House Teams and colleagues, you’ll help increase awareness, manage supporter activity, track income, and maximise opportunities through partnerships and communications.

You’ll also represent the charity at events and within the community.

This role requires a proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet income targets.

 About you

 We’re looking for someone who is passionate about community fundraising and motivated by building meaningful relationships.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will equally be as comfortable supporting families who stay with us who want to fundraise, as you are presenting to a room full of students, or potential volunteers.

You have good organisational skills and are comfortable working to objectives and targets. You are able to work with a level of autonomy and innovation to develop your fundraising portfolio and to increase our profile particularly in the areas close to our houses.

Ultimately this is a great role for anyone who loves community fundraising and understands that no two days are the same.

What does this role do?
As Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll:

• manage the day-to-day operations of our Cyber Security Operations Centre, supervising colleagues in the team to ensure a responsive, effective service is delivered,
• lead on cyber incident management, working closely with colleagues to ensure all incidents are managed swiftly and effectively, and steps are taken to mitigate future risks and keep our digital world safe,
• run the vulnerability management programme, proactively and continuously identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the digital infrastructure,
• contribute to effective cyber security architecture and engineering, ensuring high security standards are maintained at all times.

First stage interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 10th and 11th June 2026 and will take place on Teams.
