In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing and operating security controls across our systems, endpoints and cloud services. You’ll manage day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response and threat detection, while acting as a key escalation point for security risks and incidents.
You’ll work collaboratively across IT, Digital and Information Governance teams to ensure our services are secure by design and compliant with key standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and the NHS DSP Toolkit. You’ll also play a key role in supporting audits, strengthening our Information Security Framework and embedding best practice across projects and everyday operations.
Beyond the technical delivery, this is a highly collaborative and visible role. You’ll provide clear, practical advice to colleagues and volunteers, helping to build a positive and proportionate security culture. You’ll also contribute to business continuity planning, support risk management activities and drive continuous improvement in our security processes.

Role Overview:
The Warehouse & Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the safe, efficient and compliant operation of Hackney Foodbank’s warehouse and logistics functions. The role oversees stock management, procurement, facilities, vehicle operations, staff and volunteer coordination, and operational planning to ensure uninterrupted food distribution across Hackney.
As a senior leader within Hackney Foodbank, the postholder will contribute to organisational planning, continuous improvement, and the development of systems and partnerships that support the charity’s mission to create a hunger-free Hackney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the successful day-to-day management of the food bank warehouse.
- Line management of two warehouse staff, janitorial, and food distribution drivers.
- Collaborating with Volunteer Manager to ensure the warehouse always has sufficient volunteers, including volunteer drivers
- Leading and developing warehouse staff and volunteers through regular supervision, training and performance management.
- Setting and managing the food budget and reporting to the Head of Finance and CEO as required.
- Responsibility for purchasing, distributing, storing, sorting, and managing the food at Hackney Foodbank which align with demand trends and donation levels.

- Minimum of three years’ experience of warehouse management, including purchase and storage of food.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.
The evaluation team designs and implements the processes which assess the evidence for the fund’s various funding rounds. The team is also responsible for assessing, appointing, monitoring and the quality assurance of complex and rigorous impact evaluations from experts in the field.
As an integral member of our evaluation team, you will be part of making sure we make the best decisions about what we fund, design and execute the evaluations to learn from it about what works to prevent youth violence.
Key Responsibilities
The core of your job is to ensure that we commission and deliver high-quality evaluations so that we can find out the very best ways to prevent young people and children from becoming involved in violence.
As an Evaluation Manager, you will:

Support the evaluation team to design and implement the processes for assessing the quality of evidence underpinning applications organisations make for funding.

Provide recommendations on which applications should be approved for funding based on your assessment.

Choose the best evaluation partner for each project.
-
Lead the development of the evaluation design with grantees and evaluators.

Review regular monitoring reports from evaluators and provide approval for payments, making sure their milestones are effectively achieved, and the work stays on budget.

Serve as the main point of contact for the evaluation partner, providing a rigorous review and feedback on the report and ensuring that it is an accurate reflection of the learnings from the project.

Support the evaluation team in the development of the principles and protocols we need to deliver robust and respected evaluations.

The role and your key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area are supported and equipped to make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.
You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week). Please note you will need to be based in Hertfordshire, North London or Cambridgeshire for this role.

Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

Work with your partner Area Managers to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

The YV&I Officer will engage directly with young people and stakeholders, lead on smaller projects and/or individual programme work strands, support internal teams, and contribute to achieving the NYA’s mission of empowering young voices.
This vacancy will have a primary focus on delivering the UK Youth Parliament programme and flexibility to respond to organisational need.
Key Responsibilities
As a Youth Voice and Influence Officer, you will:
1. Deliver Against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Work with your line manager to define clear KPIs that align with NYA's strategic goals.
- Consistently deliver activities to a high standard within agreed timelines.
- Monitor and report on progress against KPIs, identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
- Support the evaluation of youth engagement programmes to promote continuous improvement.
2. Youth Voice Engagement and Delivery
- Lead and support the delivery of Youth Voice & Influence activities and events.
- Actively engage young people in shaping programmes, campaigns, and decisions.
- Facilitate inclusive, youth-led events, workshops, and forums.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity, especially for marginalised or underrepresented groups.
3. Flexibility and Support Across NYA Teams
- Provide flexible support across NYA teams to embed youth voice across organisational activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate youth input into wider initiatives.
- Share youth engagement expertise with other departments.
- Offer capacity where needed to maintain a consistent youth voice focus.
4. Building Relationships with Young People and Stakeholders
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with young people and partner organisations.
- Provide support, guidance, and opportunities for young people to participate confidently.
- Foster inclusive and respectful environments for youth engagement.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to increase youth influence on decisions.
5. Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work alongside other YV&I practitioners and teams to ensure consistency in YV&I work.
- Share best practices and contribute to a collaborative learning culture.
- Provide feedback from young people to shape new initiatives, campaigns, or policies.
- Engage in team meetings and professional development activities.
6. Monitoring, Reporting, and Feedback
- Maintain accurate records of YV&I activities, feedback, and outcomes.
- Assist with collecting and analysing data to evaluate programme impact.
- Contribute to internal and external reporting, presentations, and updates.
7. Supporting NYA’s Strategic Goals
- Align all YV&I work with NYA’s strategic vision of youth empowerment.
- Stay informed of youth sector trends and policy developments.

- Building and managing strong relationships with supporters, ensuring excellent and personalised supporter care
- Developing and delivering engaging campaigns, appeals and communications across email, digital and direct channels
- Creating and improving supporter journeys to enhance engagement and long-term support
- Using CRM data (Donorfy/Beacon) to segment audiences, generate insights and inform activity
- Monitoring performance, reporting on income and identifying opportunities for growth
- Supporting the delivery of seasonal campaigns and fundraising appeals
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and impactful storytelling
- Working with digital colleagues to maximise online engagement
- Ensuring communications are compliant, accurate and aligned with our values (including GDPR and Gift Aid)
