About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registry Administrator to join the National Institute of Teaching within our Registry Services team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your Registry knowledge and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.
This role plays a crucial part in our student administration service, ensuring an exceptional and efficient service for all students and wider institutional stakeholders. Key areas of responsibility for the role include the administration of student assessment and award progressions, awarding documentation, as well as assisting with enrolment activity, ensuring a seamless student journey for all trainees.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of providing administrative support, ideally in an education setting, who can follow and track different administrative processes. The role is based at any of our campus locations, so you should be within commutable distance. The role is predominantly hybrid with the need to be on site at least once a fortnight. About the role
We are seeking an experienced Academic Quality and Conduct Officer to join our Registry team and oversee the processes for the organisation in relation to academic quality and standards and student conduct, complaints and appeals. The postholder will help ensure that academic regulations, quality assurance processes, committee operations and student casework procedures are implemented consistently, fairly and effectively, in line with institutional policy, sector expectations and regulatory requirements.
This role will focus both on the monitoring of academic quality and standards to ensure they meet sector standards (e.g. the UK Quality Code and OfS sector recognised standards) and ensuring that academic casework and regulations are appropriately administered and handled in line with best practice through investigating, tracking and managing case work for academic appeals, complaints, fitness to practise and other academic policies and procedures. Ensuring that best practice guidance from the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) is adhered to when managing casework. The role will support with ensuring that appropriate academic quality and standards are upheld and processes such as annual reviews and programme approvals are implemented in line with the institution’s quality assurance manual.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)

Reporting to the Regional Media Manager, you'll work across the region. You'll deliver media activity that supports our campaigns, fundraising, services, research and local influencing priorities.

The Involvement Officer role sits at the junction of lived experience involvement and our charitable objectives and will build meaningful collaborations and alignment between those affected by primary bone cancer, researchers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. Our new Programme Assistants will work as part of our team of Programme Leads and Programme Assistants working in school settings to support young people, their families, and school staff to ensure that at-risk pupils improve their wellbeing, make the most of their education, and improve their life chances. The successful candidates could be based in one school or travel between multiple schools.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check (child workforce) and provide details of two referees.
