About Chapter One
Chapter One is a small but growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our Early Literacy Intervention programme is based on a programme that works successfully in the USA and it provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Reading Interventionist works individually with target children.
We also have our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme which currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 150 local and national businesses. The volunteer pledge is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

- Galleywall Primary School: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–12:00pm (2 hours per day) – 10 hours per week
- Wellington Primary School: 3 days per week, 1:00pm–3:00pm (2 hours per day) – 6 hours per week (working days to be agreed)
- Please note travel between the schools will have to take place between 12pm and 1pm.

This role will involve delivering a programme of 1:1 focussed sessions for selected Reception and Year 1 children. The ELI will be trained to use Chapter One’s specialised online tool designed to support learners who are at risk of falling behind with their phonics.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct an initial baseline assessment of selected target children in Reception and Year 1 to determine where further support is needed.

Use Chapter One’s online tool to deliver differentiated, daily, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach.

Use a variety of additional activities to reinforce phonics skills.

Support children to use their secure phonics knowledge to read decodable books.

Develop pupils’ phonics fluency and confidence in preparation for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, where applicable.

Document each session with a child, including the skills practised or mastered and a goal for the next session.

Maintain and update daily pupil progress trackers, identifying phonics skills secured and areas requiring consolidation to inform future teaching.

Challenge pupils to reach each new goal and celebrate pupil success.

Work closely and on an ongoing basis with classroom teachers, reading support staff and the school team to understand progression of the schools phonics teaching.

Work closely with classroom teachers to establish tailored plans for each child.

Provide school leaders with data and information on pupil progress.

Gather feedback from school on progress of the programme and any implementation challenges, aiming to help Chapter One to continuously improve programme delivery.

Collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.
Qualifications Criteria

Maths and English GCSE at Grade 5 or above.

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. Our growing portfolio includes flagship projects tackling challenges such as inclusive EV charging infrastructure, complex community transport needs, and large-scale research and systems change activity through the National Centre for Accessible Transport (NCAT).
We are now recruiting a Transport Solutions Manager to play a leading part in the management of NCAT, which will make up around half of the role, while also contributing to the design and delivery of other high-impact transport solutions activity across the Foundation’s portfolio. This is a pivotal role that combines programme leadership, stakeholder management, governance, and delivery, and is designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination for NCAT, supporting its effective mobilisation, delivery, governance and partner relationships, while also working across other Transport Solutions priorities in line with the expectations of broader internal Transport Solutions Manager roles.

What you will be doing:
- Act as a key point of coordination for NCAT within the Foundation, bringing together cross-functional input across areas such as delivery, innovation, governance, operations, insight and evaluation.
- Lead the ongoing management activity for NCAT, including the development and implementation of systems, processes and governance structures to enable effective delivery.

About the role
This role is one of three key Deputy Directors in the Health and Care Policy team. The team focuses on shaping the future of the health and care system in the UK to ensure the best care for all, by supporting more evidence-informed policy and decision-making.
You will work alongside the Director of Policy and Research and other senior staff to oversee and manage our large portfolio of work on health and care policy. The Nystagmus Network is a small charity with an excellent reputation. For forty years, we've been the voice people turn to when they need it most. We need a Chief Executive who sees fundraising at the heart of the charity, and as storytelling with a purpose. Securing significant income through trust and statutory bids sits at the heart of this role, and so does the expertise in demonstrating impact. Sharp, compelling reporting that shows funders and supporters exactly what their money makes possible.
We're looking for someone who can shape a communications and brand presence that matches the strength of our reputation, someone with experience in setting direction for external-facing content, comfortable working with fractional expertise to keep our voice consistent and professional, and just as comfortable being the face of that voice themselves. You'll be equally at home talking research priorities with an ophthalmologist as you are meeting a family with an unexpected diagnosis.
This is a hands-on role in a lean, ambitious organisation. You'll hold real responsibility for strategy, governance and our external profile, working closely with a supportive Board of Trustees, but you'll also be close enough to the work to take ownership of the insight and data that prove it's working. This Grants and Programmes Associate will support the delivery of the Sri Lanka portfolio of work within the Grants and Programmes function at Battersea. About the Role
The House of Architecture is a bold vision to open up architecture for all and is a transformation programme consisting of 5 workstreams, including two major capital projects and a digital portfolio.
The role is responsible for managing all financial aspects of House of Architecture programme, including working closely with other members of the RIBA Finance team, HOAP project leads, HOAP lead contractors (external project managers and quantity surveyors), procurement and other internal and external stakeholders.
This includes the monitoring, analysis, reporting and dissemination of HOAP finance information in accordance with RIBA finance processes and coding structures. It requires collaboration with HOAP project leads (budget holders) to provide timely and insightful financial reporting, budgets and forecasts, and HOAP invoice processing.
As part of the RIBA finance function, the Finance Business Partner, HOAP will produce the HOAP monthly management accounts, quarterly forecast, annual Budget and 5-year business plan, which will include analysis, in numerical, graphical and written formats when required in collaboration with workstream budget holders.
As this role is a key support to the HOA programme there is dotted line management to the HOA Programme Manager.
What are we looking for?
Significant experience in a Management Accounting, Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager role along with experience working on large capital projects or transformational programmes.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Fundraising, the Senior Programme Funding Manager will play a central role in strengthening programme fundraising capacity across country teams and the global fundraising function. Purpose of the role:
As a Kinship Family Worker for Kinship Reach, you will deliver this online programme to families in your commissioned area. You will provide virtual one-to-one support to kinship carers and their families to help them become resilient and informed, with a strong support network to help them care for the children in their care.
Key responsibilities:
One-to-one support
Provide up to 6 one-to-one support sessions bespoke to the kinship carers and their families over a three-month intervention, working within the Kinship Reach delivery model. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Signposting or referring to relevant national and local services.
- Providing practical and emotional support to kinship carers.
- Liaising with other professionals and organisations.
- Making referrals to other Kinship services such as Advice, Someone Like Me, Peer-to-Peer.

Peer group facilitation and management

- Developing existing groups and setting up new groups as required.
- Working closely with Kinship’s peer-to-peer service where appropriate.
- Collaborating with kinship carers, the local authority, and community partners to set up virtual and in-person peer support groups.
- Planning, preparing, facilitating virtual and in-person peer support groups.
- Promoting groups in the area you are delivering in to kinship carers and organisations who work with them, including contributing to the creation of promotional materials.
Participation
- Recruit kinship carers as volunteers to lead and support the development of virtual peer support groups.

- Provide reports and information for managers about cases of concern.
- Ensure you are aware of and follow safeguarding policies and procedures risk of harm protocol.
- Complete risk assessments for events or groups with families in line with Kinship’s policies and processes to be signed off by a DSL or DDSL.

At Single Homeless Project (SHP), we know that rebuilding a life is about more than housing. It is also about confidence, connection, skills, purpose and access to the right opportunities at the right time. Our Achieving Potential programme supports people across SHP to access learning, volunteering, training, education and employment, and this role will help strengthen and grow that offer so it is more connected, visible and accessible.
As Project Coordinator, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the programme, keeping activity planned, information up to date and communication clear across teams, participants, volunteers and partners. You will help maintain the programme prospectus, manage enquiries, track engagement and outcomes, and support participants to move between opportunities in a way that feels joined up and meaningful. You will also help build relationships with colleges, employers, training providers and community organisations, opening up new routes for people to build skills, confidence and independence.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys making things happen, bringing structure to growing work, and creating the systems and relationships that help good ideas become real, lasting opportunities for people. At SHP, you will be supported to grow in the role through regular supervision, access to learning and development, and opportunities to build your skills in programme coordination, partnership working, impact reporting and inclusive service delivery.
Hybrid working for the role means 3 days in our SHP offices and services with opportunity to work from home around this.
