The Really NEET Project is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Special Educational Needs Coordinator to lead & strengthen the quality of our SEND provision across the region.

The SENCo will drive excellence in SEND practice, support staff development, and ensure that statutory responsibilities are fulfilled with professionalism and care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Buckinghamshire Service for you to join a dynamic team committed to supporting children and young people who have been affected by someone else’s drug and/or alcohol use. The role of a Children and Family Worker will support children and young people under the age of 18 on a one-to-one basis in a confidential space. The role will deliver a wide range of interventions/ education though activities, such as games, arts and crafts and emotional wellbeing resources. The role will utilise a young person-centred approach, empowering them to explore situations which they feel they have little control over to support them to lead a safe, happy, and healthy life.

The role will work in partnership and liaise with other young people services throughout Buckinghamshire, to provide holistic support to young people accessing the service. We need to record information about what we do, so enjoying a bit of admin work and attention to detail is important, but most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with young people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. Responsibilities

About the role: 

• To holistically support CYP affected by parental substance misuse, using a range of interventions including group work, 1:1 work, whole family interventions, safety planning and safeguarding working closely and proactively with the family unit to support positive and sustainable outcomes.
• Identify families in conjunction with other agencies, who will benefit from a Think Family / Whole family approach, negotiating participation and engagement with the programme of care.
• Identifying and responding effectively to potential safeguarding issues. 
• Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to young people and the wider community. 
• Working with young people to support positive, holistic outcomes in relation to their health and wellbeing, enabling them to lead safe, healthy, and purposeful lives: reducing risk and increasing resilience

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Raising Sales invoices

· Reconciling the bank statement

· Posting transactions on The Charity finance system

· Accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices and supplier payments

· Accurate and timely processing of all staff and volunteer expense claims

About the role

The Climate and Resilience Expert is a specialist role that will contribute to strengthening and expanding Practical Action’s Climate and Resilience portfolio, with a primary focus on Early Warning Systems and Early Action. The postholder will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our EWS/EWEA work, providing high‑quality technical expertise, thought leadership and sector engagement to enhance the impact of our programmes, partnerships, and consultancy services.

This role will support the delivery of ongoing workplans for key EWS/EWEA initiatives, including maternity cover responsibilities for priority projects. Approximately 50% of the postholder’s time will focus on coordinating delivery of the EWS Thematic Lead work under the Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance, ensuring continuity, effective collaboration, and high technical standards across research, programme design, partnership development, and influencing activities.

About you

The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of early warning systems and early action, experience working in climate resilience in low‑ and middle‑income contexts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, partners, and external stakeholders to advance Practical Action’s mission of putting ingenious ideas to work for a world that works better for everyone.

The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) is a global union federation representing transport workers across more than 150 countries. We bring together unions to fight for rights, equality, and dignity for transport workers worldwide.

We are seeking an IMO Liaison Advisor to support the ITF’s engagement with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), contributing to the development of policy, research, and technical work that advances the rights and safety of seafarers globally.

About the role

Reporting to the IMO Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the ITF’s work with the IMO. You will provide high-quality research, analysis, and technical input to inform submissions, policy positions, and advocacy.

Working with colleagues, affiliates, and external stakeholders, you will help ensure that the ITF’s maritime safety and regulatory work is evidence-based, well-coordinated, and effectively communicated. You will also work closely with the ITF Permanent Representative to support alignment between IMO engagement and wider ITF priorities at the International Labour Organization (ILO), reflecting the increasing interconnection between global maritime and labour regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting research and analysis to support ITF submissions and engagement with the IMO

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Community Fundraiser to join our Community Fundraising team. Community is at the heart of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, and our community fundraising team play a vital role in building relationships and raising funds across our community and catchment. Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. About the Service

Flourish is our service providing mental health support to asylum seekers and refugees in Hertfordshire through assertive outreach support and providing wellbeing drop-in groups. The groups centre on improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of refugees and asylum seekers, providing these individuals with a safe space to discuss their concerns, providing coping strategies and practical support where required and to help these individuals engage with diverse creative activities and develop their confidence and self-esteem whilst helping them integrate into Hertfordshire and the UK.

About the Role

This role is to promote and facilitate our Flourish support groups. Flourish is our service providing mental health support to asylum seekers and refugees in Hertfordshire through assertive outreach support and providing wellbeing drop-in groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• The purpose of this post is to promote and facilitate our Flourish peer support groups.
• To play an integral role in instilling HMN’s values through the Flourish refugee and asylum seeker service.
• Promoting and facilitating the Flourish groups
• To work as a team.
• To play a key part in the development and delivery of quality of support services.
• Planning and preparing for each weekly session, establishing the session aims, materials required and anticipated outcomes for people attending.
• Ensuring refugees and asylum seekers feel safe and supported within the group.
• Ensuring diversity across weekly sessions for service-users. 
• Liaising with translators and booking them where required to meet the needs of the groups.

We Offer:

• Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year pro rata, rising in increments to a max. of 28 days after 5 years employment (plus 8 days Bank Holidays)

About the Opportunity  

This important role within the Digital team works with a range of stakeholders across Soil Association, to deliver a high-quality user experience on www. soilassociation .org and other Soil Association websites. 

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will design high-quality user-focused content, using user insight, data and evidence to improve content quality, accessibility and effectiveness. You will develop and iterate the organisation’s content strategy and design and maintain content standards, governance and processes. 

You will also provide best-practice guidance, training and hands-on support to colleagues, helping teams build confidence and skills. You will advocate for user-centred, evidence-based content, working to embed best practice approaches across the organisation. 

Initially, the focus of the role will be supporting a large website replatforming project and content migration, implementing improved user experience, consistency, content quality and governance across our website content.  

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive and motivated team, in a flexible and welcoming working environment. The role is hybrid – one day a week in Bristol office, but remote options considered. This is a part time role (28 hours a week), and we can be flexible about how you fit your hours into the week.

About You  

You’ll be passionate about user-centred design, with a strong background in content design. You’ll have practical experience of hands-on content design, and experience designing and iterating content strategy, standards and governance. 

You will be confident collaborating with stakeholders with a range of digital skills, supporting them to maintain content quality and standards. You’ll have experience of effectively advocating for user-centred design and its adoption.

You will know how to do user research, using data and evidence to create high-quality user-facing content. Experience of working in the charity or not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.
