P2P Implementation Specialist

A leading social housing provider based in London is seeking a P2P Implementation Specialist to support a key transformation programme. The organisation is committed to delivering high-quality, affordable housing and offers excellent flexibility, with predominantly remote working.

This is a 6-month contract requiring a strong P2P professional with a keen eye for best practice to help optimise processes, systems, and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational managers to design and refine P2P data structures, including coding frameworks, approval work flows, and alignment with the Statement of Delegations
• Assess and enhance system functionality across works orders and maintenance contracts, implementing robust approval protocols and three-way matching to drive automation
• Develop and document exception processes for non-standard payments (e.g. non-PO invoices, one-off suppliers)
• Optimise system configuration within the test environment to support efficient, scalable P2P processes
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script creation, coordination with operational teams, analysis of results, and development of training materials

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Procure-to-Pay implementation and/or process improvement, with a clear understanding of financial controls and compliance
• Experience within housing, property, maintenance, repairs, or civil engineering is advantageous, but not essential
• Proven ability to design and optimise work flows (e.g. approval hierarchies, coding structures, exception handling) with a focus on efficiency and automation
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance teams

The Role
Working with the Head of Trusts and Statutory Income to lead and deliver the strategy for the Trusts and Statutory programme raising over £2 million every year and developing ambitions plan for growth.

Account manage existing and new high value relationships in the Trust portfolio, delivering on a personal annual income target of £600K - 700K.

The Candidate

Strong grant management skills, knowledge of excellent donor care and ability to develop strong working relationships.

Paralegal

You will help our solicitors to maintain an active caseload, enabling our clients to enforce their housing rights. Your role will be varied and will include taking instructions and witness statements, drafting letters, making applications, providing court representation and making sure time recording and income targets are met. About You

For the Solicitor role, we are open to newly qualified candidates with a demonstrable interest in social justice, as well as those who have 3+ years PQE and a strong track record in housing law and Legal Aid work. You will have experience or a demonstrable interest in legal practice in the private or not for profit sector with experience of working on a wide range of housing cases, knowledge of legal aid, housing, homelessness and welfare law. You have the ability to research, write reports, time record and meet financial targets, as well as meeting or be willing to develop to meet the Housing Supervisor Requirements (September 2023).

For the Paralegal role you will need a good understanding of litigation work, be able to carry out legal research and provide a good standard of professional service and client care. You will have excellent communication skills, both in writing/drafting and face-to-face along with proficiency using case management systems and time recording, as well as the ability to manage your time and workload. If you have housing law experience and knowledge of Legal Aid/ CCMS this would be an advantage. We are looking for someone with will be involved in the everyday duties to support victims/survivors of violence, alongside assisting colleagues within the organisation and liaising with external professionals. The Role:

This position will be responsible for delivering an effective trauma informed approach of first contact, care and support to clients who are victims/survivors of abuse provide. The postholder will provide high quality information, advice and guidance to victims of domestic abuse offering Tier 1 support. This includes an understanding of the current/historic situation, risk assessment, victim impact and decisions on next steps. The IAG will support in general tasks of referral taking from all referral avenues and offer an initial representation for BCWA should they wish to go on to a caseworker for interventions. The team will work within set targets for response and victims’ outcomes.

About The Role

At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in the East Riding of Yorkshire working 21 hours per week.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

• An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
• Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
• You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
• The ability to manage your workload effectively, with appropriate support and tools, and to balance competing priorities.
• Confidence using IT systems to maintain accurate and confidential records.
• A compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach, with respect for diversity and individual lived experiences.
• The ability to travel independently across East Riding and wider on occasions.
• The confidence and ability to communicate with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding. You will be required to speak publicly at events about dementia, delivering information and signposting people to further resources and networks.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Advice Centre is central to our work. The advice we provide offers clarity and confidence. When people understand their circumstances, they feel safer. In moments of uncertainty, clear guidance can make a massive difference, and that’s why we’re here to offer support that helps our Visitors feel safe, informed and understood. This role administrates the operational service within the Advice Centre, triaging the needs of Visitors and coordinating Advisor and volunteer appointments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• To coordinate the Advice Team’s appointments and schedules.
• To be the Advice Team Lead:
  • reviewing Advice Centre processes, and adopting appropriate changes to enhance service delivery
  • lead on daily briefs and monthly meetings with Advisors and Steps2Work Coordinator
  • report any issues or challenges to Operations Manager where necessary
• To quickly assess the needs of Visitors and decide whether they need to be seen urgently, or to book them an appointment.
• Lead the daily brief of Advice Centre volunteers to ensure that they are up-to-date with current issues, events and are familiar with advice processes.
• To ensure that volunteers are utilised effectively throughout the Advice Centre with support and guidance.
• To maintain Advice Centre record-keeping through the collection of Visitor data and input into our database (AirTable). Includes the creation of new records for newly registered Visitors. In addition, to ensure that personal information held about Visitors is checked for accuracy periodically.
• To ensure compliance with GDPR legislations and Harbour’s Data Protection Policy by ensuring Visitor information is not available to public view, and all documentation is safely and securely stored.
• Create information posters and signs for the benefit of Visitors and/or volunteers.
• Be the admin for Harbour’s Community and Volunteer WhatsApp groups.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Committed to the values and charitable objects of The Harbour Project.
• Reliable with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A good understanding and application of the principles of Safeguarding, particularly in relation to people at The Harbour Project.

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser to support the Major Giving & Events Manager with the development and delivery of the corporate partnerships programme with responsibility for account managing a portfolio of Bridge Partners and developing a pipeline of new business to build meaningful relationships with corporate partners.

This role sits within our Partnership Management team in the Income Generation directorate you will be working with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver strategic partnership activity in line with Shelter’s organisation goals. You will play a key part in the success of leading on our employee fundraising within the private sector and engagement activities for one of our large existing partnerships that generates over £2m+ income for Shelter and lead on the success of managing a diverse portfolio of five and six figure partnerships across multiple sectors delivering a high quality for colleague, customer fundraising and commercial campaigns. It will involve presenting Shelter’s cause effectively to a wide range of audiences internally and externally through various forms of communication. 

The role requires a proactive approach and creative flair developing and executing new partnership activities to align with our targets to drive these forwards. It will involve leading and collaborating on additional projects that support the wider Corporate Partnerships team strategy and managing elements of partners finances with completing income forecasting, updating our supporter database and supporting the team. 

About you

You will be proactive and have excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and win people over and convey complex ideas succinctly, confidently and persuasively. You will have experience in corporate fundraising, partnership management or account management and be able to strengthen relationships with existing partnerships to grow fundraising income. You will have attention to detail and be able to work across multiple projects in a busy team environment and be able to plan workloads effectively to deliver budgeted income from partnerships and initiatives.
