Legasee is a charity committed to ensuring that future generations can learn about our history through the personal recollections of the men and women who witnessed it first-hand. We provide students, teachers and researchers with unique access to a high-definition video archive of interviews with veterans and civilians connected to British military conflict from 1939 to the present day.
We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major new oral history project focusing on the Aden Emergency, made possible thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. At its heart, the project will record the oral histories of 30–40 veterans and civilians whose lives were shaped by service in, or connection to, Aden during the final years of British rule.
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for project planning, delivery, reporting and budget controland will work closely with project partners and funders to ensure that agreed outcomes are met. The role will provide leadership and direction to the project team and its volunteer network, ensuring that activity is well coordinated, realistic and delivered to a high standard.
The recorded testimonies will form a permanent digital archive and support public engagement, interpretation,and learning, ensuring that the experiences of those who served are not forgotten. A key part of the role will be the recruitment, coordination and ongoing support of a part-time Project Coordinator.The Project Coordinator will lead volunteer engagement, research support, transcription, and day-to-day project activities.
Education is central to the project. The Project Manager will oversee the development of educational activity delivered in partnership with schools and community groups, ensuring that young people are supported to explore the history and legacy of the Aden Emergency through original research, oral history and the thoughtful use of digital technologies. This work will result in the creation of new teaching resources, deeper community engagement and strengthened links with educational and cultural institutions nationwide.
The role is home-based, with flexible working hours agreed to ensure effective delivery of the project and coordination with partners.
If successful, your role will be:
- To work with the charity, its partners and the Project Steering Group to complete the project, in line with the requirements of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and within a rigorous evaluation framework.
- To work with the lead oral historian to create a video archive of the personal experiences and observations of up to 40 veterans of the Aden Emergency and ensure that all participants are supported throughout the entire process.
- To work with volunteers and project partners to develop and launch a new interpretation.
- To work with a local school to deliver creative ways of learning about oral history.
- To be responsible for the overall recruitment, training and participation of all volunteers in the Project,ensuring that they benefit from their involvement by gaining new life skills and a greater understanding of the role of veterans of the Aden Emergency.

You will work within the team to prototype new ways of supporting individuals, and contribute to the ongoing development of the team by sharing learning and by listening and responding to feedback from people who use the service
Main Responsibilities:
· You will carry a caseload of clients, working with individuals and their families to plan, support and achieve goals and outcomes that are important to them.
· To Develop trusting working relationships and provide practical and emotional support to individuals accessing the Living Well service.
· To develop and maintain positive professional working relationships and referral pathways to local statutory and community-based services which support adults

Main purpose of the role
The Human Resources Manager provides effective HR support to all employees and in the two L’Arche Communities located in Scotland, in line with L’Arche’s identity, mission and values.
The HR Manager will:
- Support the Community Leaders and Coordinating Teams, provide advice and guidance to all leaders on best practice in HR matters, and ensure that the two Communities meet all of their regulatory obligations with regard to the employee life cycle.
- Ensure implementation of employment legislation, and compliance with Safer Recruitment, national policies and initiatives, and SSSC requirements.
- Address employee relations issues through direct involvement, advice to operational leaders, facilitating mediation, fostering a positive work environment, and managing conflict and performance.

Key essential criteria

About the Early Years Assistant role
We are seeking enthusiastic bank staff to provide flexible cover for staff absences at our vibrant 59-place nursery, located in the Coin Street neighbourhood centre on London’s South Bank, just minutes from Waterloo and Blackfriars stations. As part of a dedicated team of educators supported by two experienced senior teachers, you will help ensure the smooth running of the nursery by assisting with mealtimes, activities, general care, and safeguarding the welfare of children. Our nursery is part of a wider Family and Children’s Centre, which offers holiday play schemes, activity camps, and a creche facility to support parents in training and development. Using our unique surroundings for real-life learning, we put each child at the centre of their learning journey. Cover will be provided on an ad hoc basis within our shift rota (8am–6pm).
This will be a zero-hours contract which means that there are no guaranteed hours per month - you may be requested to work on an ad hoc basis, and sometimes at short notice.

Role Summary
The Resources Coordinator role sits within the learning content creation team, which is responsible for the devising, commissioning and delivering of high quality, film-focused learning opportunities. Listening Books is a charity that provides an excellent audiobook lending service to people whose illness, disability, specific learning difficulty or mental health condition impacts on their ability to read the printed word. Our audiobook catalogue contains over 10,000 titles and reaches over 100,000 members across the UK. We believe that books should be accessible to everyone. The successful candidate will be responsible for buying and processing all new titles for our catalogue and regularly liaising with publishers to maintain our excellent relationships with them, ensuring all our contracts and paperwork remains up-to-date. The candidate will be responsible for both the administrative and technical aspects of adding new titles to our catalogue via our download platform, OverDrive Inc. Training will be given but a high level of computer literacy is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the budget for titles and must have previous experience of handling basic budgets.
We can offer flexible working arrangements, including remote, office-based, or hybrid options for the right candidate. There is also some flexibility in how hours are distributed across the week; however, we would prefer that a portion of the hours be worked on Thursday or Friday. A salary of £28,000 per annum (pro-rata) and a matched contribution pension scheme up to 8% of salary, following successful completion of the probation period.

About the Project
The National Lottery funded Meddwl Ymlaen Mind Our Future project is led by The Venture on behalf of the North East Wales partnership. The aim is to empower young people aged 11 to 24 to shape mental health services across Wrexham and Flintshire. Young people will co develop and influence policy, processes and services that affect their mental wellbeing.
Overview of the Role
The Senior Youth Engagement Officer will lead the youth engagement and co production elements of the project. A key part of the role is to lead and facilitate the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB), made up of 11 to 24 year olds who guide the direction of the project. The post holder will support their leadership development, confidence and decision making.
The role also includes developing a strategy to recruit and engage more young people, delivering a calendar of youth led events, and ensuring young voices shape all aspects of the project. The officer will represent Mind Our Future in meetings with stakeholders and support young people recruited into paid roles within the project.
