London National Park City is looking for a friendly and energetic community organiser to join our small staff team as a Ranger Coordinator. This is a two year contract role for at least four days per week, to support the delivery of our Ranger programme and activities across London.

You will work closely with the Community Director to support the development and confidence of individual Rangers, help deliver our ranger training programme, and support the recruitment and induction of new volunteers into our community, and embody the culture and community that makes our rangers feel supported, connected, and valued.

You will work with the team to support administration of the Ranger Programme and help in the delivery of our small grants programme.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in community organising, who has good attention to detail, community-minded, with experience of facilitating training or events and a genuine passion for community building and nature.

London National Park City is the long term grassroots movement for everyone making London greener, healthier and wilder. London became the world's first National Park City in 2019 with the aim of making our city a place where people and nature are better connected.

Across the capital, we support a flourishing community of almost 200 volunteer Rangers in every London Borough, supporting projects, groups and communities in making our city greener, healthier and wilder. Key Responsibilities

Community Organising & Ranger Community

• Act as a key point of contact and support for Rangers across London, helping them feel connected to the wider community and to London National Park City while getting to know them and their needs individually. 

• Lead on the assembly of our River Rangers cohort, bringing together new and existing Rangers whose projects are connected to our rivers and waterways, and creating engaging learning experiences for them. 

• Facilitate local meetups amongst Rangers, making connections and introductions around shared interests and projects. 

• Facilitate regular Ranger group gatherings, online connections, and peer-learning opportunities that strengthen relationships across the network.

• Support Rangers to lead local activities, events, and projects, providing guidance and connecting them to relevant resources.

• Champion ranger wellbeing and recognise contributions in meaningful, creative ways.

• Identify and support emerging Ranger leaders who can take on more active roles within the network, and help lead Ranger working groups to extend programming and access to resources. 

Ranger Training and Peer Learning

• Work as part of a team to support the ongoing design, development, and continuous improvement of Ranger training and peer learning, to ensure that it is engaging and accessible. Facilitate training and identify the necessary resources to support Rangers in learning green skills alongside exploring climate justice and community organising. Co-ordinate the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue booking, communications with participants, and preparation of materials.

• Support the gathering and analysis of feedback from programmes to inform ongoing programme development. 

Ranger Recruitment

• Directly support the identification and recruitment of new Rangers, including developing outreach strategies to attract volunteers from all of London's diverse communities. 

• Working with the communications team, contribute to recruitment materials on our website and digital channels.

• Help manage the application and onboarding process for new Ranger recruits, providing a welcoming and smooth experience from enquiry through to induction.

• Actively build relationships with underrepresented communities, community organisations, and local networks who may be interested in joining the Ranger community. 

Programme and Administration

• Maintain up to date records and administration on Rangers and their activities, including maintaining databases, tracking participation, and preparing reports.

• Contribute to the delivery of the Small Grants programme, including supporting Rangers to apply for grants, and design their projects. 

• Assist with monitoring and evaluation, helping to capture stories, data, and outcomes that demonstrate the impact of the Ranger and Small Grants programmes.

• Handle general correspondence and enquiries relating to both programmes professionally and promptly.

Person Specification

Essential

• Experience in community organising or volunteer coordination in a professional or voluntary capacity. 

• Experience of building programmes and facilitating training 

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build warm, trusting relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

• Commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and an understanding of barriers that can prevent people from engaging with nature and volunteering.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a small team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and comfortable working with databases or CRM systems.

• A genuine enthusiasm for nature, green spaces, and enabling the participation of London's diverse communities.

• Ability to work outside of office hours to meet the demands of the role, (this may include 1 or 2 weekend days a month, and up to one evening a week).

• Demonstrable experience of planning and organising your own work schedule and using initiative to deliver results.

• In regards to the River Rangers cohort knowledge of rivers and waterways in London.

Salary and benefits

You will be joining and fully participating in a unique and inspirational community of changemakers and storytellers, active across London and increasingly around the world.

This is a contract role ideally full-time or for at least four days per week, initially until June 2028. Salary is dependent on experience and in the range of £32,000 to £36,000 full time. We are open to applications for flexible working arrangements which many of our staff take up.

You will have 25 holiday days allowance per year, pro rated for part-time working.

Following successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, we will enrol you in our Nest pension scheme, and will make additional payments of 4% as long as you contribute 4% of your salary each month.

This role involves a mix of remote and in person working with regular travel across London. You must be based in London and be prepared for regular travel.

Selection process

This is a great opportunity to support local communities, working with Adult Carers and Young Adult Carers and helping them to make informed choices, build confidence, sustain their independence, and access support that meets their individual needs. You will carry out assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need, working together to co-produce support plans. This will involve meeting Carers in community settings and conducting home visits. The team also facilities coffee mornings and activities offering Carers opportunities for peer support and to take a break from caring.

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

We have full and part-time roles available (minimum 22.5 hours), and applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults in a relevant sector. What the job involves

We’re looking an Events and Community Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.

Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:

· our own events (e.g. March for Men)

· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)

· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)

You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers, providing admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience.

Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity. This role sits within the Community Fundraising sub-team, supporting people organising their own fundraiser, from bake sales to head shaves and unique walking and cycling challenges. Day-to-day, you’ll manage our inbox and proactively reach out to new fundraisers to offer support and guidance, as well as delivering core processes like thanking, fulfilment and volunteer management in collaboration with other internal teams.

You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising activity, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

About the job

LSESU is looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about student experience to join our Student Voice Team. You will need to have a good eye for detail, a proactive approach, and be willing to get stuck into all aspects of student representation. The successful candidate will support the Student Voice Team in the delivery of LSESU’s liberation work, democratic processes, and lead on key strategic projects with our elected officers.
 

This role will involve supporting with a variety of tasks, including liaising with key stakeholders, engagement and outreach planning, and database administration. This is the ideal opportunity for someone with an ability to work collaboratively with people, and a passion for delivering high quality opportunities for membership engagement.

We are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Recruitment Coordinator to join the People Services Team. 

This role is home-based but there will be a requirement to attend in person team meetings and training on a regular basis within the Preston Area.

The Role

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, efficient and compliant recruitment service across the charity. Working closely with the Recruitment Lead and Recruitment Administrator, you will coordinate recruitment activity, support safer recruitment checks, act as a key contact for the ATS and contribute to continuous improvement across recruitment processes.

Key tasks include:

• Manage recruitment activity from advert to onboarding, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safer recruitment and EDI requirements.
• Carry out checks on job adverts and recruitment documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Act as a key contact for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), supporting hiring managers through the recruitment process.

About You

Ideally, you will hold a CIPD level 3 qualification and have an understanding of EDI requirements and the impact on recruitment practices.  Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and other HR systems along with creating job adverts and working with job boards/advertising platforms is also beneficial.

• Knowledge of employment legislation relating to recruitment processes

About the role

This coordinator role sits within our Mass Participation team in our Income Generation directorate. The role supports participants in mass participation events – both organised by third parties including the London Marathon or bespoke Shelter events that you will have responsibilities for.

The main objective of the co-ordinator role will be to deliver challenge and bespoke events, from planning and set up, pulling together financial budgets to meeting supporter recruitment and income targets through to the delivery of event day and evaluating results.

Are you looking for a role where you can use your fundraising experience and expertise to support an end to homelessness through community engagement fundraising?

We are looking for a Community Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in managing, developing and growing community engagement, awareness and fundraising.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing and developing the community fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale. This will include working alongside community groups, clubs and associations, schools and faith groups as well as individual fundraisers. You will also lead on new projects attached to community fundraising which can increase our profile and income levels. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop our community fundraising programme, taking ownership and managing new community fundraising initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities and networks.
• Engage and build strong relationships with community fundraisers / organisations. Developing supporter engagement through regular check in’s, face to face meetings, presentations and attendance of events.
• Support the growth of our national fundraising activities, by recruiting supporters and building an on the ground fundraising volunteer team.

Where you’ll be working

In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. Travel across London and regions in the South of England is also required.

This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for hybrid working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekends will also be required to oversee relevant events. Out of hours work will be offered back in the form of time off in lieu.

While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.

About this vital role

Our Pantry programme provides access to affordable food alongside opportunities for connection, support and community building. Our Pantries are more than food spaces—they are welcoming community hubs that help people build stability and positive futures.

You will coordinate the day-to-day running of three London Pantries, ensuring they are well-organised, fully stocked and operating effectively. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will support staff, manage logistics and help develop new Pantry sites.

• Coordinate food orders, including fresh produce

You will provide clinical direction and maintain oversight of elop’s counselling services, bringing understanding and experience of delivering trauma-informed approaches to support the emotional health and psychological wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people.

You will oversee and contribute to clinical operational responsibilities, service coordination and delivery, ensuring a professional, safe, smooth running, efficient and well managed service is maintained.   You will work alongside the senior leadership team across both strategic and clinical operational levels ensuring lead responsibilities for our counselling teams and services. Working collaboratively with the senior leadership team, implementing clinical delivery decisions, ensuring the counselling service effectively maintains ethical and professional standards of practice and communication across key staff, other agencies and service users. 

You will proactively contribute to building a robust and compelling evidence base that continues to demonstrate impact, improved wellbeing, and increased resilience, and have a key role in monitoring, evaluation, and supporting the wider counselling team with reporting and using data to drive operations, and evidence-based best practice. 

Your role will also include overseeing referrals and allocation of clients; undertaking client assessments; providing role-management, and clinical support and supervision to trainee and sessional counsellors; line-management of key service personnel; some clinical support work with more complex or acute needs clients; recruiting, inducting and training key staff and volunteers; and liaising with the clinical supervision team.
